Some of the components on the authoring side don't work well with the edited ones, and edits sometimes require the page to fully reload to display correctly. Navigating through 8,000 pages is a challenge, and it would be helpful to have a search feature with better parameters to find the correct page. Adobe Experience Manager Forms feel a lot behind in comparison to other AEM products. Forms doesn't currently reference the same CSS as sites, its builder UI doesn't represent our form themes appropriately, and its ease of use struggles in comparison to competitors. I like that Adobe Experience Manager works great as a content repository, where I can look at past versions of a page from an audit perspective, view link references, and see content hierarchy. It's really helpful to be able to manage the publication of timely content and schedule launches and redesigns. I also appreciate that we can see timestamps of who last modified, published, or scheduled a page, so we can confirm the exact date and time specific content was on the page. One of the benefits, but a trade-off at the same time is the ability to customize Adobe Experience Manager to your business needs, but with that requires an implementations or dev team. I like the separation of environments like Dev, Stage, and Prod in Adobe Experience Manager, which is related to the dev pipeline and helps ensure we are deploying good and quality solutions. I believe that on the code aspect, maybe the build could be a bit optimized, since it takes some minutes to finish and proper test. The whole mvn clean install with packages parameters can take so long to build, depending on the project size. It would be nice to have an optimized way to build the whole project. It is highly customizable and easy to train new team members to get going with using the platform. it is also providing a lot of flexibility to integrate with third party plugins and service providers. the license is a big of a headache for my team and my client's team, given it is one license per person, it poses a large financial burden. it would be really awesome if we can have shared accounts/license, different people can use the same license but limit to 1 person logged in at a time, so no overlapping on license usage. I think the move from one information architecture to another is far too cumbersome and manual. I'm really astonished that Adobe Experience Manager doesn't have a tool that shows your current information architecture in a visual format and lets you easily move things into a new architecture with low human intervention. I like Adobe Experience Manager's ability to share images via links with internal customers and create collections. Providing links to images prevents overloading our servers with downloaded images and gives my customers the ability to choose the best images for their project. The search capability could use improvement in terms of accuracy and speed. The loading of images is very slow and it would be better if, when you select an image and open it, closing that image would take you back to where you left off in your scrolling instead of taking you all the way back to the top, where you then have to rescroll to get to where you were.
