What do you like best about ActiveBatch?

ActiveBatch Workload Automation allows users to centralize and streamlines the control process. The interface is easy to use with features such as Pre-Built job steps, drag and drop, etc., which in turn help save time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?

There aren't any significant drawbacks, given the tool is so user-friendly. However, a few bug fixes will help upgrade the tool to the next level. Would love to see more ideas integrated into the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?

"Best software for Automation"
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveBatch?

Easier, User friendly. Automating was a bit trickier, but now we can do it without any scripts. This has helped me to automate my work quickly, accurately, and deliver on time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?

Nothing as such. I would love to recommend this to others. But, there are some options in it which need much more explanation than what's given for better understanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Team, We have been using ActiveBatch Workload Automation as a scheduler in our systems to schedule and maintain jobs. It is convenient to use with its simple UI and numerous features. It has Good Customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?

Nothing, Its Perfect, As we are only using the scheduler as part of the ActiveBathc workload Automation, we cannot comment on the whole tool, But we have not seen any issues for the service we are using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ActiveBatch Scheduler"
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveBatch?

The ability to integrate our Data Warehouse jobs/plans from to application jobs/plans reduced data timeliness and reruns.

We execute Informatica PowerCenter workflows, Tableau, Alteryx, and ICEDQAdmin jobs, and database sqls using the AB software.

The ability to create job dependencies visually is very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?

The Help features are very limited, in my opinion.

I'd like to see many more examples with AIX/Linux hardware included.

The built-in reporting could be simplified as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ActiveBatch?

ActiveBatch treats all items as objects; this allows for object reuse when building jobs and also reduces the overhead of maintaining and supporting multiple objects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?

Having to upgrade each of the execution agents, there needs to be a process where the agents are automatically updated when there is a new version available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simple to underatand and use the interface.

Ease of logging and re-running failed jobs.

Fault tolerant, and highly available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?

Some of the modules thatbare available for pay are a little buggy at setup. For example certificates are checked by the issued name and not hash so workarounds are neccessary to setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
