It's been a little touch and go with Imaging Surface. It works, but it doesn't fully deploy all of the software. It also doesn't assign the Surface to our domain automatically. I have been using Active@ Disk Image to create the duplicate copy of data present in my hard drive. It allows cloning selected partitions present in the drive as well as cloning the complete hard drive at once. The copy it creates is the exact one and can be easily used while PC upgrades and taking regular backups.
I like it very much because it doesn’t ask to restart the computer to create the hard disk image. Also it takes very less amount of time to clone the disk and I get the option to clone only the important sectors/files from the hard drive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
