I've worked with the team at Accord for close to two years at multiple companies. Not only does the platform solve a critical problem in the sales and onboarding process, it also strikes that perfect balance between simplicity and functionality.
Accord is an easy-to-use platform for buyer collaboration. It was simple to set up using their growing library of templates. The systems makes certain our sales reps and onboarding specialists follow a consistent and efficient process. Accord ensures that expectations are aligned, both internally and externally - resulting in superior accountability and hard-to-achieve visibility into the end-to-end process. Accord also helps prospective customers to navigate the buying process with us, keeps them vested to the process. It also houses all information relevant to the deal in one place, making it available to the company via integrations such as SFDC and Slack..
Above all, their team, from top to bottom, has been an absolute joy to work with. Ross, Ryan, Dani, and their entire team of Accordians are beyond committed to the success of our business and the satisfaction of our customers. Accord gives me the ability to lay down a clear and successful pathway for both parties. Not only does it give my prospects visibility into how to purchase, but also, it allows them to share their input. In my experience, prospects love to correct you when you assume incorrectly, and Accord gives them a chance to do so :) This leads to a more collaborative process. Our team was struggling to find a tech stack that encapsulated our mission for partnership over a transactional sale. When I found Accord, it was literally in their tag line. We are fully implementing Accord into our university partnership strategy because it keeps both organizations apprised of timelines, to-do items, decision makers and general progress. I really love the design and UX of Accord -- it's super easy to set up and our customers love using it with us. It allows for us to easily collaborate and measure goals / OKRs with our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much that I don't like. I think there's a couple of small features that I wish were offered like the ability to email clients directly from the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Accord is an incredibly powerful way to organize next steps and foster buy-in from a prospect at the same time .
Each time a prospect goes in and marks a task complete or responds to a comment, it builds rapport and moves the needle on a deal. If you can get a prospect bought into engaging with Accord, it is huge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some challenges:
- you need to introduce Accord while on the call with a customer so they can familiarize with it. Otherwise, it can feel a little overwhelming to the prospect.
- Introducing Accord too early, even when on the phone, can feel presumptuous to a prospect if not done gracefully.
What I'd do is put lots of collateral and less steps in Accord during the early phases of the sales cycle so prospects feel that the Accord is for them. If it just seems like a list of steps to get to a close, the prospect might feel like the Accord is there to make the salesperson's life easier, not theirs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Accord is great for keeping our Customer Success team and our customers aligned with onboarding our software solution. Key tasks, dates and documentation are shared amongst stakeholders, and timely reminders keep eveyone on track.
