What do you dislike about ACCESS Newswire?

I paid for a press release in June, but they weren’t able to publish it, which I understood. However, instead of refunding me, they said the payment would remain as a credit for my next press release. That was fine with me.

At the end of September, I finally published a new press release, assuming it would be covered by the credit from June. But a few days later, I noticed that my credit card had been charged again. I figured it was a mistake and contacted support to request a refund.

It took them several days to respond, which was frustrating. When they finally did, they asked me to provide screenshots, which I did. After that, they completely stopped responding. I’ve followed up multiple times and even reached out to different support contacts, but never got a reply.

In the end, they charged me twice and ignored all my support requests. I feel like I got scammed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the flat fee retainer and how it makes it more economical, allowing us to do unlimited releases, which really helps with the volume we handle. The customer service is also something I appreciate. Tom from the sales side and the editorial desk have been great when needed. I enjoy the plethora of product offerings, including features like RSS, social media cross-posting, media and journalist tracking, and social media monitoring. It's great to have all these options even though we are yet to establish some of them. ACCESS Newswire has good publicity reach, effectively connecting us to the right audience. The platform is highly intuitive, making it easy to put in a press release, schedule it, and go. It even creates a hosting website, which simplifies things for us. I believe that your website display is not that nice. I mean, look at the newsfile display of the press releases and how it formats it. It looks more like a web page, like an article. I like that ACCESS Newswire is pretty easy to use and I haven't run into any problems using this software. I find it very fast and it helps post press releases at a reasonable price. They also show good information about who's reading the press releases. There is a press analytics report that gives some good information about the type of interactions with the report and the location, which is good to know. Unfortunately, our overall experience has been very poor:

Response times are extremely slow, and in many cases, we don’t get any reply at all.

If we request even small edits or corrections, they refuse to make changes.

Policies and pricing keep changing randomly without any prior communication.

Their system has glitches, and customer concerns are often ignored.
