The tools to model a 3D object are very precise and easy to use. The space to create is very clean. The render is very fast. The lights and reflection are satisfactory realistic, as the object texture.

The main reason I started using Lightwave was because it's simple to learn. At the time it was also perfect for my small needs. I was working as a VFX trainee and did a lot of simple modelling and compositing work with it, and most of all it wasn't too expensive. At the moment I work at an Industrial company, where I sometimes need to rely on 3D models because of new idea's that need to be visualised. together with the models that I already get from workfloor preppers, this is a good combo.
