Savant Labs makes joining and transforming data simple and easy. There is nothing to download or install. The ability to have everything in the cloud is very convenient. It allows connection to many data sources. I primarily use Savant for data processing workflows that need to run in an automated fashion on a schedule. The ease of setting up and changing data transformations and join makes it quick to onboard new memeber of the team. I especially like the clarity of "Join" configuration. You cannot misunderstand what you are configuring with your data. One of the configurations I was not the biggest fan of originally was the way to dedup a data set, but they have now added a "Dedupe Node" to make this super easy. The ability to share workflows with the team is such a big time saver. I have used Alteryx in the past and I found Savant to have a more intuitive interface, quicker to jump in and use, and easier to share workflows amongst a team. It would be great to see the ability to create reports with graphs as output from workflows. I would also like to see more documentation on all the calculation you can do within a transformation. One of the best parts of Savant is the ease of use/implementation and the support the Savant team provides. Savant includes a comprehensive exercise to allow users to familiarize themselves with the software and understand how Savant may solve different problems witin their organization . Savant is in use across multiple data teams and is crucial in feeding our raw data sources and data reports to provide timely updates to stakeholders on a daily basis.
