Rootpal a cessé de fonctionner. Voici mon ancien avis : Nous avons obtenu un bon prix avec une offre de lancement, mais je ne suis pas sûr que cela soit encore pertinent. Rootpal semble assez rapide--à la hauteur ou légèrement en dessous de notre précédent serveur Vultr via Cloudways. La documentation n'est pas abondante, mais le personnel de support est compétent et efficace. La mise en œuvre de Plesk fonctionne bien. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

Comme mentionné, la documentation est encore en cours de création pour cet hôte. Le surnom 'géré' peut signifier moins qu'il ne le faisait dans le passé avec d'autres hôtes--attendez-vous à un niveau de support similaire à celui qui viendrait avec l'hébergement traditionnel. Plus important encore, je ne suis pas sûr que le modèle de Rootpal de "ressources dédiées" soit réellement aussi puissant qu'un VPS.

Il est très facile de configurer et de gérer des sites web. Le backend est facile à utiliser et les options sont très bonnes pour créer, modifier ou supprimer des adresses e-mail, des pages de site web... Vous avez la possibilité de faire presque tout, sauf la configuration du DNS. Vous devez demander au support pour cela. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

Le support est horrible. Très lent à réagir. Parfois, cela prend plus de 7 jours pour obtenir une réponse à un ticket. Le support par chat est également très médiocre. À part donner des liens YouTube, ils ne peuvent pas faire grand-chose. J'ai 2 services différents. Hébergement WordPress : c'est correct. Pas très rapide et j'ai eu des temps d'arrêt. Je ne peux pas les utiliser pour mes boutiques. Concernant le serveur Windows que j'ai. Le support m'a dit que je devais utiliser kms pour activer Windows car ce n'était pas inclus. Last week Rootpal has had some kind of database problems, which resulted in our websites being down for about a WEEK. Customer service was entirely unhelpful and couldn't utter more than a 'We're working on it, but don't have an ETA for a fix.'

The server check on their website might've shown them to be 'online,' but customers couldn't log in and their websites were down for a week or so. Apparently, there's no fail-safe when it comes to your data, so please consider yourself warned.

Rootpal's servers have been down quite a lot before the database issues as well. The lack of communication regarding this is more than worrisome. (Customer service has proven to be useless time and time again.)

Last week, due to the database issues, they did a rollback of our websites; earlier this year they also had problems and they pretty much did nothing and made it our problem. I'll migrate our websites to a different hosting company ASAP.

Edit (August 28th 2022): Rootpal has been down for 10 days now. (During which their own site had been down as well.) I have yet to receive an email with an explanation. It's only after checking their Facebook page that I found out they had been hacked and had their servers wiped. Apparently, no adequate contingency plan had been created as they need weeks (if not months) to rebuild everything. Don't let the server status tool on their website fool you, as the server I'm on is shown as 'online,' even though I haven't been able to log in to the back-end for quite a while now and my websites are still offline. Again, no communication whatsoever. Not even an email! Rootpal has quite literally been the worst company I've ever come into contact with.

Edit (September 4th 2022): Rootpal has closed my support ticket without any response or explanation. (The Rootpal group on Facebook shows that other people have had the same thing happen to them.) Constant problems. Thought i was getting a good deal. But, I underestimated how hard it must be for a company to build a quality platform or service. ... your landing pages will go down frequently. it will work then not work. your emails will get constant SSL expirations--triggering your constant annoying notifications on your apple devices on every app tied to the email... so annying. constantly having to go update the issue. Sometimes, you can't login to plesk—this has happened MULTIPLE times. you literally can't login to your own backend. Sometimes their login doesn't recognize you and they have to reset it for you. Sometimes you ask for an update and you don't get a reply from support for days... I've finally been so annoyed after all of this... that just now i couldn't even get to the /wp-admin login page. I couldn't login to my wp site. LOL. I emailed them and they WITHOUT MY PERMISSION deleted my WP, reinstalled and reinstalled the plugin, as if i wouldn't notice. Thoguht it would be okay and professional to do. I had APIs tied to it and even had editors tied to it. What makes ANYONE think you can go delete someone's wp without the owners approval. Était génial car ils ont offert Plesk pour gérer les sites web. Plesk est un panneau de gestion moderne et facile qui nous a permis d'utiliser plus de fonctionnalités et de passer moins de temps à gérer les sites web.

They lack strong innovation. The page is slow and the UX is not at the modern standard. You need some time to find everything.
