After using Adobe Illustrator for many years, I was relieved to find that PAD operated in a very similar way. Because of this, the program feels very intuitive to me. Even some of the commands use the same shortcuts! All of the big-name pattern software is difficult, and take many years to master. Mastering PAD takes very little time, and there is nothing I can't do with it. I mainly work with knits & activewear, but can see that wovens would be just as simple. Although the initial training was very helpful, any support afterward has been irritating. Definitely my least favorite aspect. My second dislike is the USB the software is currently housed it. While it makes transferring from one computer to another easy, I constantly have to have an adaptor around, and if it wiggles loose, the program closes altogether. Make sure you always have the safety crash setting on & save your work religiously, otherwise it's completely lost. Same applies to internet connection. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
