As an event organizer with daily back-to-back calls with sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and internal meetings, OtterPilot has been a game-changer. It captures and summarizes each meeting, saving me from having to manually sift through notes. The calendar integration keeps everything organized, and sharing recordings and notes with others is seamless. Overall, I highly recommend OtterPilot; I even use it in my online Bible study class. I like the summary page with the checklist of action items that you can tick off in the browser. The breakdown of roles, needs, timelines, sentiments, pain points and objections is a very helpful breakdown of the discussion. The screenshots are also great for recapping what is viewed on a shared screen. Otter is easy to implement, sign up is quick and it starts working right away. I use it for every meeting I have unless requested by participants and I can send the summaries automatically to different Slack channels based on who was in the meeting, etc. Integrating with Slack was also quite simple to do which is always great. Since I do a ton of calls with prospective clients, I have Otter.AI join and record my meetings. It takes notes for me while I talk to my prospect and carefully listen, so I can stay focused on the conversation rather than trying to keep up (and looking away as I type).

After the call, I’ll query the tool to get an AI-assisted summary and check any follow-ups or deadlines we covered—it’s just an easy way to keep track of all the details without getting distracted during the meeting. Sometimes I’ll end up coming back to calls week or even months later. It’s absolutely essential that I can remember what happened or what the needs were, so I can have fully context and provide detail when I follow up.
