Ease of time entries for time-based billing. Practical layout with various tools to track fees, billing, hours, and client information. A one-stop program that sufficiently caters to all of a lawyer's needs. The ledgers make it very accessible to keep track of work completed, and users can make payments and write cheques with ease. J'aime tous les rapports, l'outil pour avoir un budget, et le suivi de tous les AP et AR. Aussi, j'aime le fait de pouvoir voir tous les timekeepers, et la capacité de voir les origines des avocats. Le fait qu'il s'agisse d'une application de bureau disponible uniquement pour les utilisateurs de Windows. Mon entreprise a utilisé le programme pendant plus de 20 ans, et c'est la principale raison pour laquelle nous avons dû le changer car nous utilisons uniquement des ordinateurs Apple. Very clunky. Laggy when the database is large. You can't leave it open overnight as it disconnects from the server with backup. Interface is slow. Very little is automated. The bills it generates are so obtuse that clients always call asking what do the bills even mean. I have to create summaries in MS Word. Correcting spelling errors in disbursement entries in a very slow process. If I put in the wrong hourly rate (ie, my hourly rate for a legal aid file or a discounted hourly rate file), I have to manually change each and every entry which is an extremely slow process. I can't make custom forms without getting admin privileges from the firm. It has been inordinately difficult to do such things as remove a "total tax" line from the template bill when the "total tax" line doesn't even set out all of the tax (it sets out GST only instead of combined GST and PST). Ce logiciel a environ 10 ans de retard en termes d'interface utilisateur. Très peu de contrôle sur les couleurs, la taille des polices, vous l'appelez. Ils veulent que vous payiez une montagne d'argent pour le support technique annuel. Aujourd'hui, (3 avril 2020) j'ai appelé le support technique. J'ai attendu 20 minutes pour être connecté à quelqu'un dans un centre d'appels offshore, seulement pour être incapable de parler avec eux car la transmission était pratiquement inexistante... alors j'ai envoyé un e-mail avec mon problème bien exposé. J'ai besoin de transférer le logiciel de l'ancien ordinateur au nouvel ordinateur... ça semble facile... Ce n'est PAS !!!! L'e-mail est revenu... a dit d'appeler la ligne de support (voir ci-dessus). Il n'y a tout simplement aucune raison d'acheter / utiliser ce produit. Tout le monde qui utilise d'autres logiciels de comptabilité juridique semble très heureux de tous les aspects de leur nouveau produit après avoir utilisé la Chevy Nova 72 de grand-père (PcLaw) pendant si longtemps. On hold times for tech support over 2-4 hours. Dealing with someone overseas, I was disconnected twice, they never called back then you are forced back in the que as many as 20 people ahead of me back in line for hours. Sales rep did not know that only certain versions of PCLaw users can upgrade base on the database being used. I never got upgraded to the full version. Even the feedback link crashed.
