La positivité de cette application réside dans sa capacité à contrôler l'appareil qui m'aide à rivaliser et à autoriser / interdire l'utilisation de certains appareils dans mon environnement spécifique, ainsi qu'un outil de blocage de logiciels qui est un peu ennuyeux pour certaines organisations, mais pour certaines comme la mienne où nous utilisons uniquement certaines applications et logiciels, c'est un bon choix. Le paramétrage granulaire de cette application peut détecter et bloquer les logiciels malveillants et les virus inconnus. L'utilisateur intuitif de cette application aide à une meilleure compréhension de l'application par rapport à la lecture de tout son manuel et la réponse en direct est également assez appréciable. Les inconvénients de cette application ne sont pas observés jusqu'à présent en raison de sa nature conviviale, mais parfois elle bloque certains fichiers qui deviennent corrompus et il devient difficile de les récupérer, mais bien qu'aucun effet négatif ne soit observé de cette application particulière. This is, hands down, my favorite application whitelisting I've ever used. It can approve by the file's hash value (SHA-256), the publisher/certificate, or a number of other custom options. High customizable across the environment, and even enabled me to completely eradicate bloatware (such as ASK Toolbar) within two weeks of full implementation.

If your installation is on a server that can access the internet, it can also use VirusTotal and CB's own reputation service to auto-approve some programs based on collective input from other customers (reducing management time).

Other providers tried to get me to switch because CB Protection uses a lot of man-hours to manage (which is true), but they cannot reliably block some"benign but unwanted" programs without using a blacklisting approach. This is a highly involved implementation and management. Une partie du territoire d'avoir un contrôle verbeux sur un système est qu'il est plus compliqué à utiliser et prend du temps à gérer. Cela peut effrayer certains de nos employés de se former à son utilisation, ne laissant qu'un petit nombre de personnes capables de gérer le produit. Cela étant dit, cela vaut toujours bien l'effort. The best part of the CB-EP tool is that it works! Using CB-EP we have reduced workstation re-stages from thousands a month to under 100. Our "category A" virus infections are below 15 each month, and only seen on systems outside of high enforcement. We are blocking hundreds of malicious files each week. The biggest dislike is that competitors to CB try to pitch whitelisting technology that is years behind in capabilities and lacking in features.
