As an IT engineer responsible for maintaining endpoint compliance and keeping systems updated with our software and patching standards, I’ve found Automox particularly impressive. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to access the necessary data. Since implementing Automox across multiple client environments, we’ve achieved greater control and a more consistent, up-to-date operating environment. I truly love the fact that for most setups, it's a 'set it and forget it' platform. We typically set up our patches to "Patch All" and do every available update 1 evening a week. It's easy to notify the users of a standard maintenance window, once a week in the evening, and set the expectation that their computers will be updated and perhaps reboot during that time. It's also nice to have the additional feature of the "Worklet", where I can create a basic script that can run either on a schedule or on demand. For example, we've had computers that will lose the sync to their timezone, so having a script that resets and resyncs the Windows time service is super handy. I don't need to touch their machine, I just click into the worklet, add their device, and within 5 minutes they are writing me to say it's all set!

Every time I've had to reach out to Automox support, they have been super helpful. If they can't provide an easy answer, they seem to go the extra mile and find a way to do what I am looking to do. I've been very impressed with the dedication and knowledge they've brought to my support tickets.

I really don't have too many complaints about Automox, the only one that really stands out is that it doesn't have an option to force stop some programs if they are running. Snagit and Zoom come to mind. I would like the option to notify the user that the sofware is about to be updated, and they have the option to defer or accept. Personally, I like that the team behind Automox did a great job designing the user interface, it is intuitive and user friendly. You get everything you need for the job without excess interface. The process of deploying scripts can be improved. At times, tracking progress and status proved challenging for some members of our team. In my own words what I like best about auto marks would be the way it streamlines policy creation as well as making sure all pcs are up to date and working properly. Another great feature that I also love using would be its remote control option which gives me the ability to remote into any PC on the network or off the network to resolve it issues as the it administrator that is very handy Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

In my personal opinion the only downside is their load. its by far the slowest remote control software I've ever used. Even Google remote desktop (which is completley free) is lightning fast compared to connecting with Automox Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

The level of streamlining Policies for Compliance. As a part of Cloud cloud-based company, we are highly expected to deliver devices with security and compliance. Automox has made it easier to manage policies as per clients and sends us alerts to monitor non-compliant devices. Reports are easier to avail and can be even presented without much effort

Automox excels in patch management, software updates, and configuration. This reduces the need for manual intervention, saving time. This is implemented to several customers to show our efficient way of Patching and automation which they already love!

The most helpful thing about Automox the amount of information that is provided to us about the assets and the ease of deploying scripts to many devices at once. One of the upsides to using Automox is the UI/UX, as it is very easy and intuitive to navigate. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

I appreciate the UI & find it to be intuitive in a way that many competitors are not; the agent seems lightweight & fairly responsive. Policies push out consistently as expected, & worklets are powerful & allow us to go beyond standard patch mangement. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

The remote control tool is one of my only critiques as it's rather slow & feels a bit archaic, does not have file transfer capabilities which is something I leverage often. They seem aware of this shortcoming though and should be addressing it later this year. I'd have liked to see native integrations with all the major cloud providers. We primarily use Automox for 3rd-party patching that helped fill a major security gap for our existing tools such as Microsoft Intune and SCCM. Additionally, the granularity of the tool is a key factor that set's it apart from competitors.
