L'agent est très facile à installer et à déployer. Et comme il n'y a pas de restrictions telles que la connexion au réseau de l'entreprise ou au VPN, vous pouvez corriger tous vos appareils internes sans aucun trou, y compris les travailleurs à distance. Pour moi, c'est honnêtement le prix. Je n'ai pas beaucoup de PC dans ma flotte (~25), mais nous nous dirigeons vers la conformité SOC2, donc je dois mettre à jour les logiciels assez rapidement. Action1 met à jour ma flotte de PC sans frais. Et il fait un travail PHÉNOMÉNAL à ce sujet ! Action1 est incroyablement convivial, l'interface utilisateur est super facile à prendre en main ! Action1 a un installateur .msi que j'ai intégré dans InTune et la prochaine chose que j'ai su, c'est que toutes mes machines étaient prêtes, donc le déploiement et l'intégration ont été faciles ! Je suis capable de déployer et de contrôler les mises à jour facilement, sans aucun tracas. Une fois l'application installée, tout fonctionne comme on le pense. Pouvoir également déployer des mises à jour pour des choses qui ne sont pas seulement des mises à jour standard de Windows, comme Adobe, Zoom, etc., est également incroyablement utile. Il a besoin de plus d'options pour personnaliser les rapports, les listes et les mises à jour. Nous avons des machines plus anciennes qui vont toujours apparaître comme nécessitant des mises à jour, mais qui ne peuvent pas être mises à jour parce qu'elles sont obsolètes et restent bloquées dans la liste. I've been in the industry for 25+ years, this solution has provided a great tool to help with keeping workstations up to date not only with applications but Windows updates! Only issue I've seen is the ability to remove old profiles from workstations that have the Action1 Service running. Easy work around, shutting down the service, rebooting and allows for removal of old profiles so not the end of the world, provided you remember to reset the service! The layout of the website makes it easy to navigate and organise systems and patching. The generous 100 systems for free is amazing. Implementing the installer on each system is the easiest I have come across even after trying several other patch management solutions. Takes 5 minutes to check and approve updates and to deploy them to all systems. The built in scripts are also very handy to use, something I haven't seen in other solutions as yet. Action1 is very simple to implement and to use: configure wich AD OU's your want to monitor in Action. Then put the endpoint in the correct OU and the agent is automatically deployed to the endpoint. The only thing you have to do then, is create the right endpoint groups and couple the correct automation to this group and that's all. From then on all your endpoints are automatically updated.
A second feature we love is the fact that you can - again with the right automation - deploy software to your endpoints. Not only the action1 approved stuff, but you can also create your own packages. And you can also remove a piece of software from all the endpoints you want it removed....with just a few clicks.
They also continuously work on the product. Their roadmap is openly available and customers (even no paying ones) can upvote features.
And last, but not least, their support is great. For the free (100 endpoints) edition, it's via a discord channel, were several members of action1 (Serge and Maria) follow the discussions and try to help. If you're a paying customer, you get direct support by mail. And they respond/help within a few hours (even if you"re a European customer as we). Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
The only minor thing I see when using Action1, is that you can mix scripts and updates in one automation, nor can you uses more than one script in an automation. So If you want to 1) Wake on Lan, then 2) create a snapshot and then 3) run the updates, that"s 3 automations with some "fiddling" in the timings.

Patching works well - does what it says it is doing

Speed of patching is quite good - noticeably better than most I have worked with
Patching Visibility - you can track where in the process the patching is when you deploy a bundle of patches at the same time.
Vulnerability scanning - accurate and fast and doesn't require the administrator to setup additional scans to occur.
Vulnerability reporting, including reporting on CVEs that are showing up on your systems that are under active exploit.
Scripting, basically works as well as the patching and is also fast.
Software deployments - we use it now for our software deployments and were able to eliminate another paid tool.
Reporting is much better than our old RMM, so much better ...
