Xactly has indeed cut our commission processing time in half. The functionality and ease of use have been a game changer for myself and the team. After a year using Incent at a new employer, I am feeling very confident about the accuracy of the commission data we are processing. I used a different commission software for about 20 years, so it took some time to get acclimated to the Incent environment. Over the past year, the interface has been improving in look and feel, making the tool much more user-friendly. The support I have received from Xactly has always been prompt and I appreciate the pro-active approach of the customer success team in providing updates and resolutions to issues I have had to escalate to them. - There are some instances where the updated views don't allow me to perform searches I can do in the classic views, so I have had to switch back and forth
- The incentive statements are person-centric rather than position-centric so the combined data can be very confusing to the user

Xactly Incent is a great commission tool. Incent's interface allows the sales team to view their statements and dashboards without issues. This platform has several positive attributes; aside from commission calculations, the impersonation and the document manager feature are some of our favorites. The impersonation feature is very convenient for assisting the team remotely; facilitating plan documents by routing and tracking the documents saves a lot of time and provide a great audit trail of signed documentation.

Xactly is a useful tool that I have used throughout my career. It is difficult to maintain, difficult to manage in a setting where you are quickly growing and having tons of changes. It feels like it's a better fit for a large scale enterprise company, rather than smaller companies that make large scale plan changes on a quarterly/semi-annual basis. Xactly is able to address all complexities of your commission plans. I have worked with Xactly over multiple companies with varying compensation plans, and Xactly has been able to adopt, calculate, and show insight into every plan we've thrown at it. The Analytics portal is quietly an incredible addition to analyzing commissions and plans. The user interface is not incredibly intuitive. Luckily, the Xactly team is highly responsive and understands the importance of getting people paid correctly. In the last ten years, Incent has been my tool of choice. I've invested eight years in learning how to use Xactly Incent. I was hired into roles where Incent was already implemented, and I've had roles where a new tool was needed. I've always chosen Incent. There has never been a feature of the commission plan that I could not configure. This is the most critical aspect that keeps me invested. When the sales team wants to get creative with the plan components, Incent can handle it.
The one time in the last ten years that I was in a role where Incent was not the tool, I was miserable. COVID halted our plans to implement Xactly Incent, so I found a new role. Some of the UI's in Incent do not allow tagging or archiving; over the years, you accumulate a ridiculous amount of outdated but visible data. There are also some features that do not allow deleting even though the feature was not "used" for anything. So some mistakes are permanently visible to the admin.
I also think the home page appears outdated (80's). Some of the other commission tools are colorful, flashy and appealing to sales people but don't work as well. Reseña recopilada por y alojada en G2.com.
