The setup training and customer support with WellnessLiving is really wonderful! They are quick to answer and help with anything I need. This system works well for the variety of offerings for our yoga classes, kids camps and more. This review should have been done a long time ago, realised I still had not whilst doing a search for fitness studio software agin this week. 2017 I signed up to Wellness Living, after they had sent me a direct email trying to poach me from Mindbody. Should have went with my gut on this one.
Its hard to remember all of the details but ill never forget the complete data migration fail on the weekend i set aside to go live. Weeks of testing they had an excuse for everything.
It was over a third of my clients passes all came over wrong. Clients with 7 / 10 PT pass ended up with 3/10 ect ect
The response was to try to blame me. The sales guy caught one mistake i had made at 4 am trying to fix the mess and kept trying say i had done something wrong. The time difference into Australia was partly to blame.
Apart from the complete failure to merge my studio at all, the lack of responsibility was very much deserving off this terrible review.
Left me in a terrible position.
Classic case of over promised and under delivered in a very big way.

La transición desde una antigua empresa de software cuando tú y tus clientes saben cómo usarlo puede ser una propuesta aterradora que te lleva a quedarte donde estás y ser sobrecargado y maltratado. Wellness Living vino muy recomendado y ha estado a la altura de esta recomendación y más allá. Su atención al cliente es atenta y servicial. Esto es muy importante cuando estás cuidando de los clientes y tienes muy poco tiempo para ocuparte de las preocupaciones del software. Son amables y serviciales. Siempre te responderán de manera oportuna. I had read positive reviews online, and I liked the idea of having added capabilities like a built in rewards system and referral program. WL is also highly customizable, which I liked, and it's half the price of Mindbody's Accelerate. Reseña recopilada por y alojada en G2.com.
Wellness Living-- the software and the costumer support-- is unreliable and full of glitches that make it difficult to work with. I used WL at my small business for almost 2 months, and during that time I spent hours each day troubleshooting issues. First, much of my clients' data was not migrated over from Mindbody properly, so I spent weeks fixing the botched migration myself.
Soon after my WL site went live, clients began emailing me with problems. Some weren't able to sign into classes, and others couldn't add their credit card info into the new system. There were complaints of the site and app crashing, and one client was randomly gifted several hundred rewards points into their account for no reason. (After I complained to WL, tech support claimed they had fixed the glitch, but it happened again a couple weeks later.) The attendance self sign-in app randomly crashed for several days, and when it was working it was slow and would often freeze. Neither of the credit card swipers sent from WL's merchant processing company worked on my ipad, so I ended up having to set up a Square account just for card swiping. Customer service was often difficult to get a hold of, and I would sometimes wait days to speak with WL about an issue.
I found it concerning when my manager started getting auto-emails from another gym using WL out of nowhere. We had never heard of this gym, it was based in another state, and although WL denied responsibility, I don't know how else his information could have ended up on this studio's mailing list. The only connection was WL.
Cancelling the software was a challenge. It took me several days to get through to someone from the customer service team, and they seemed to want to stall before confirming my cancellation request. Then I was told I might be charged a large cancellation fee since I was on contract with them for 2 years. I was not told of a two year commitment until I tried to cancel. The rep eventually agreed to waive the cancellation fee, and then, after confirming that my last day with WL would be November 6th (the day before the end of my billing cycle), WL de-activated my account a full day earlier than agreed upon.
