In our growing company, automation is a hot topic. Because of this, stakeholders have been looking more towards ServiceNow to help automate and augment our common tasks whenever possible.
ATF helped us decrease our upgrade time from a month to a week.
Service Portal is becoming the go-to spot to enter requests and explore knowledge articles.
Performance Analytics helped us find and understand gaps in our incident and request processes.
Perhaps our biggest use case with App Engine is Flow Designer. With Flow Designer, we have quickly changed many of our processes to include functionality with the variety of spokes that are offered. These spokes have helped to speed up requests for software approval and access permission. We have even begun to use it to automate our new hire request process and new hire role based access control.

* The first one would be the experiences which we can create it provides different personas viewing and use it always feels good
* The second one could be automation using workflows which is truly amazing that helped me a lot in my work

Lets look at the things i disliked in app engine studio is there is no such thing version controlling which make my development easy while pusing to production environments. I would like more this feature in servicenow because
1. It makes developer life easy due to Low-Code and drag & drop features.
2. None technical user( none developer) can easly use this application.
3. It allow us to create Visual workflow.
4. It encurages business users to create Custome Applications without coding.
5. Business User easly can create workspaces.
6.Its is a encouraging users to make work life easy and more productive, scallable with accuracy..
7. We have lot features to use... Becasue i have recently completed one of project and create custome applications as well as Service Portal and Customer is very impressed with that solutions because it was developed and delivered under estimated time period.

There is no more disadvantages I observed in App Engine Studio. But i feel some.
1. If we will migrating more data then it might accure issues.
2.Its restricting creation of global application just allowing custom scoped applications.

here in ServiceNow Note tab in resolution page was very much helpful we can share here our work notes and requirement with customent it will be available with request number permenently so in future some one can also refer the same. also best thing is we can configure workflow as per ITIL standerds and set custom alerts. One of the most important thing that I like about the App Engine is the ease of doing business that is building at your finger tips. The interactive interface, the user-friendly components, the ease of integrating the apps that were created with the source control like GitHub and many more that contribute to the ease of Implementation makes the best of ServiceNow App Engine. With these cool features, the frequency of using App Engine is increasing rapidly and with the customer support around, I thing it is one of the best in ServiceNow. As someone who has built many custom applications on ServiceNow, I find App Engine Studio (AES) to be a game changer. Its low-code/no-code capabilities empower business users (Citizen Developers) to build workflows without needing deep technical expertise. The intuitive interface makes it easy to create applications, similar to Microsoft Power Automate, but with the backing of ServiceNow’s robust platform. The governance model is another standout feature—applications built by Citizen Developers cannot be deployed to production without admin approval, ensuring quality and compliance.

We use it a lot for on-boarding, once the candidate is picked. We can all get involve in the process in one single platform, manager, RH, recruiters, etc to see where in the process is the on-boarding. This has reduced meetings to update the process and unnecessary emails.

one of the real life challanges I have faced is: while we can develop application in one customer environment if we need to move the application in another customer environment/ maybe a sister company which has a different set of environment the application movement has challanges and I had use update sets also few custom tables had to be re created from scratch. ServiceNow IT Service Management ITSM is very easy to use. The UI is so simple. And the tasks such as Incident management, Problem record creation etc can be done in simple steps.
