I really like that Ci automatically generates proxies of all the footage you upload. But my favorite features are the media boxes and file request links. File requests are really useful because when you're working with multiple people who need to submit footage (like content creators), it becomes really simple to collect everything in one place instead of receiving uploads from multiple places like Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. I love not having to dig around in my email to see where each person submitted footage. I think that the commenting and notification features could still use improvement especially when compared with frameio. You can't tag specific users, and I would like more control over which clips or conversations I get notifications about. I shouldn't have to comment on a video first in order to subscribe to future comments. It would be helpful to have a way to decide whether I want notifications for all comments or not. There's a few things that could be better, the CI app on mac, sometimes fails to upload, for some reason, have to revert back to upload directly to the web client, and loosing the speeds of the uploading via the app. Unable to search for files as a mass search, for example trying to delete hidden files that start with "." or trying to search for any log file as "*.log" if these features can be added, and the computer app can be fixed, this would be great. At my workplace, because we can't grant access to the configuration to the whole organization.. I dislike the share to external target feature. I have to input my credentials to share to an external target. It would be great if Ci could remember my last input or something so I don't have to enter the credentials every time.
