Using logic to separate songs from song medleys

My need is extremely simple. I have two sound clips, each being composed of three individual songs. All I want to do is to post each of the six songs separately. Now, some of you might feel insulted by such a simple question, but that's it. I have no other needs for a sound editor at the moment. Anyway, I want something simple, something that will enable me to do the job without spending hours pouring through manuals or viewing demonstrations on YouTube. I'm sure that my requirements are probably met by almost any Sound Editor, but since Logic is said to be one of the simplest Sound Editing programs, I think it would probably be satisfactory for me. Do you think that I could use Logic to do what I have described?
