Youtube is a good resource to start the learning process for color correction. There are built in tools that you can use, a good one is Lumetri Color.
Learn how to use and navigate this plugin as a start. Once you've mastered this, then you can start introducing LUTs to your workflow, but first learn how this works :)
You'll need to familiarize yourself with the Lumetri Color panel. With basic corrections, I like to work under the "Light" heading first. Adjust the exposure to change how bright or dark the overall image is. The "Whites" and "Blacks" slider determine how bright the white parts of your image are and how dark the blacks are. Contrast is the difference between the brightest and darkest parts of your image. High contrast can make a scene look more dramatic or intense, while low contrast can create a softer, more subdued look. Experiment with temperature, tint, highlights, and shadows to see what best fits your scene, it is as much an art as it is a science. My general rule with color correction is Less is More. Tutorials are also an extremely valuable resource, I still use them if there is a specific problem I'm trying to solve.
