# Can you filter out the staffing agencies?

Can you filter out the staffing agencies? I feel there's a disconnect when staffing agencies get involved. I want direct communication with employer and myself, not staffing agencies saying that have an opportunity asking me the same questions and then finding out the employer doesn't deem me qualified. I realized that employers are very honest and straight to the point about who they would like to hire. That one of the reason I dislike the staffing agencies contacting me. It create another barrier between possible employer and possible employee.

I have not tried to filter out agencies as I’d rather talk to them. However, I wish there were a way to screen out MLMs and other similar companies that are wanting you to buy services rather than have a legitimate job offering.

The only way to keep hiring agencies from reaching out to you is by making your profile private. This way, only jobs you personally apply to will see your profile and resume.
