How well does this work with student validation?

We currently only use SheerID to validate members of the military, but would be interested in validating students as well. We had some issues with dates matching military members paper work and then not being validated on the first try. I'm wondering how this would work when you are dealing with students that could have transferred multiple times or started school later in life.

Majority of the time students will instantly be verified, but in a few edge cases the student will be asked to submit documentation for further review.
