Every experience I have had with SheerID has been quick, easy, and proven safety features.

Sometimes when I have closed out of the verification tab, I forget to copy the code and it is very challenging to get back to the page where I verified my identity.

SheerID has benefited me by giving me access to a multitude of specific deals and coupons that are exclusive to students or members of specific social groups.

SheerID provides the easiest way to verify IDs in minutes. Many institutions are already using SheerID, which is making job easier for big companies

Yet to figure out the downsides. But one thing I don't like about it is it's less use outside the United States or North America

I am extremely disappointed with my experience using SheerID. There are several critical issues that have left me frustrated and dissatisfied with their service.
Lack of Transparency:
One of the most glaring problems with SheerID is their lack of transparency. Important information is often hidden or difficult to access, leaving us in the dark about key aspects of the service. Clear and open communication is essential for trust, and SheerID fails miserably in this regard.
User-Unfriendly Dashboards:
The dashboards provided by SheerID are hard to use. Navigating through the system to find necessary information is a cumbersome and time-consuming process. A user-friendly interface is crucial for efficient operations, and SheerID does not deliver on this front.
Lack of Accountability:
SheerID does not take accountability for their mistakes. When issues arise, they are quick to deflect blame rather than addressing the problem head-on. This lack of responsibility is unacceptable and creates additional stress and complications.
Poor Monitoring and Alerts:
SheerID fails to monitor our account effectively and does not alert us to platform stability issues or fraudulent activity. This oversight puts our organization at risk and undermines the reliability of the service. Proactive monitoring and timely alerts are essential for maintaining security and trust, and SheerID falls short in providing this crucial support.

**What problems is SheerID solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SheerID is supposed to verify that our customers are actual students, educators, and IT Admins so they get access to our education plan.

SheerID has automated a manual process that is saving us time in our student discount offer program.

I don't feel there are many downsides, however I sometimes find that the verifiers need to be coached on some of the documents that we accept.

They act as the verifier for our free student licenses offer.

The SheerID team is knowledge and responsive. We meet regularly with our account rep to address any issues or questions we may have.

**What do you dislike about SheerID?**

The only real thing that I dislike is that emails cannot be used fro verification. I understand the reasoning behind it and how easily an email can be manipulated and appreciate the role that this plays in fraud prevention. The team has worked with our organization to find other acceptable documents to use for verificaiton

**What problems is SheerID solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual verification was an extremely time-consuming process in the past. SheerID has cut down on this tremendously, while also increasing the expediency of the validations.

**What do you like best about SheerID?**

SheerID provides the ability to verify Military And Student enrollments automatically with Information provided by our guests.  This saves an enormous amount of staff time and makes sure the correct guests get their appropriate discount.  

We have the ability to add more codes when we need and get a warning with the bucket of remaining codes is low.

The support staff have always been very good when they were contacted.

**What do you dislike about SheerID?**

Therecare a couple of functions t h at could be improved 
1. Cannot set my own thresholds of when to receive low availability warning.
2. Cannot set the frequency of how often zi receive thecwarning email.
3. Student check does not distinguish between part-time and full-time onlyvthatctheycare registeted.

**What problems is SheerID solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving staff time doing manual verifications.

Product integration was easy and it works out of the box without changing lot of code in the application. Professional team helping us with the migration is very knowledgable and quick to respond.

We have had instances where we had to get new institutions added. I think better coverage will help the product.

We replaced manual student/teacher verification with sheerid which is a time saver.

Best part of SheerID is I dont have to think about it after it's set up. I am confident everything is working as it should all the time.
SheerID provides excellent reporting that helps up keep a gauge on the program and optimize.

I have been working with SheerID for many years and multiple implementations and don't have any complaints.

SheerID validates identies of Active Miltiary, law enforcement, and veterans which takes that task off the hands of our customer service memebers. It makes the full experience faster and better for consumers.

**What do you like best about SheerID?**

It allows us to sell College, Military and First Responder products online for the first time. This is simple for our guests and staff compared to the old method of manual validation in person or via email. We have seen an increase in the participation in these programs due to their simplicity.

There is a bit of understanding required to setup each program but once thatis completed, everything is very smooth.

Allowing our guests to purchase Military, College and First Responder Products online.

SheerID helps us to get notified for certain group of people. The only problem that we had was some integration issues with Shopify

**What do you dislike about SheerID?**

Shopify integration might have problems. the admin panel is not user friendly

the admin panel UI can be improved

Mostly good but the last problem took a long time

I wish we could get automatic alerts when we have 10, 100, or even 1000 verification codes left to use.

Every time I work with SheerID associates I'm impressed with their professionalism, follow up, and follow through. They have promoted our new programs internally and externally, and are really dedicated to refining our programs until they're perfect. The support documentation they have available is also excellent. Finally the security of the overall product seems solid through testing and monitoring successful orders. What's not to like?!?

The Sheer ID support team is outstanding. They are supportive, responsive and accommodating. They are constantly working to help improve our student programs and introduce our brands to new customers. 

Sheer ID is also extremely user-friendly. I like that I have control over my programs and am able to make updates at any time. Once the programs are set up, they work for themselves with minimal maintenance.

If there is a downside at all, it would be that the process of getting started is a bit extensive. However, once you are set up, the programs run on their own.

The platform is easy to use and keeps improving. The support of our Customer Success Manager has been invaluable to the program's growth, always coming up with new ideas to scale usage and expand our reach and return. The programs, particularly the bursts, are easy to set up to quickly drive a reactive campaign and never fail to see strong results.

**What do you dislike about SheerID?**

One thing that would be great to improve is the ability to automate a bit more.  It would be nice to go live and end at a particular time and can switch to an increased offer and back to the BAU offer with less of a manual lift, even if it's the ability to schedule changing the codes back and forth.

SheerID is a seamless way for our customers to validate they are eligible for our community offer programs. To date, we have saved $1m+ by nearly eliminating coupon abuse! When initial issues arose due to our unique retail environment, SheerID quickly remedied issues by creating a solution specifically for our organization. Our SheerID team has been phenomenal - from providing insights on how to grow our programs to quickly addressing any issues that arise. SheerID's marketing team has gone above and beyond to provide valuable insights on growing our segmented offers.

**What do you dislike about SheerID?**

As mentioned, our partnership and validation services have been exceptional throughout our time utilizing SheerID. One aspect that we would love to see is additional marketing opportunities to amplify our segmented offers.

**What problems is SheerID solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to SheerID, we essentially used the 'honor system' to provide discounts to community segments (military, health care, educators, etc.) and this was leading to considerable coupon abuse. The ability to ensure only eligible individuals are able to access the discount has enabled our organization to offer richer discounts, which has led to increased customer satisfaction (while saving margin by reducing non-compliance!). SheeID's high instant validation rates allow customers to be validated within minutes, without needing to have their official documentation on hand.

My experience with SheerID so far has been excellent. Conversations about how to maximize the potential of verification, how to understand my audience, etc. are met with professional insight and care.

**What do you dislike about SheerID?**

If there is a downside at all, I would say the cost is a bit higher than I would like. But a service like this, it's hard to track ROI. What I know is that they have been extremely responsive to our needs.

The hands on help from the SheerID is the best thing. Having never used the platform before, they made it super easy and are always there for any questions our team may have.

I wish we had access to more reporting! It would be great to be able to set up a monthly report that is sent to our inbox.

SheerID has wonderful support. Using SheerID has allowed us to verify accounts easily and opened our business to a new customer base. Set up was quick, and the support we have received along the way is exceptional.

**What do you dislike about SheerID?**

SheerID can get pricey. We had a bug with our verification system for quite a while. We fixed it! But I wish we would have realized it sooner.

We use SheerID to verify student users. Verification determines whether or not a learner is eligible for our lower-cost student plan. This benefits us by allowing us to incur revenue.
