I’ve been using HoxHunt for over a year now, and overall, I’m really pleased with how it’s helped me become more aware of phishing tactics. The interface is straightforward and easy to navigate, which makes reporting suspicious emails feel like second nature rather than a chore. The quick feedback you get after flagging a potential threat has also been really motivating—it’s nice to see whether you’ve caught something right away.
Another aspect I enjoy is how HoxHunt turns training into a sort of game. There’s a bit of friendly competition in my office to see who can identify and report phishing attempts the fastest. This gamified approach keeps things engaging and encourages us to stay vigilant, so I definitely give HoxHunt a thumbs up for making cybersecurity training both fun and informative.
I use HoxHunt practically a few times a month. It simulates training with regular, but unpredictable intervals of simulated phishing attempts. The fact that the training emails come to my inbox as any other email would integrate really nicely! I don't need to log into some other platform, it's all there inside of my email app. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.
I do think there’s room for growth. The phishing simulations, while helpful, could use a bit more variety. After a while, they start to feel predictable, which makes them less effective at testing real-life awareness. Adding new, more creative or more advanced phishing scenarios would keep the training fresh and challenge users at different skill levels.
I’d also love to see additional features or content beyond just spotting emails—maybe some interactive modules on social engineering techniques or deeper dives into the psychology of phishing scams. With a little more variety and advanced material, HoxHunt could be the go-to cybersecurity training platform for teams of any size. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.

The phising email generated are very real and almost of a professional hacker level. It's very fun as well once you find out and report the same. It gives us visibility into ongoing real phishing campaigns so we can react with activities like URL blocking and IP address blacklisting. The switch to gamification and a carrot approach was really well embraced. It makes security training feel less like a chore and more like a game with real-world benefits. limited customization options for training content, a less intuitive admin dashboard, potential for overwhelming simulation frequency, lack of in-depth reporting and analytics, and concerns about the cost relative to other platforms Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.

Hoxhunt is hands down one of the best platforms for cybersecurity awareness, especially when it comes to phishing detection. What sets it apart is its gamified approach, which makes learning engaging rather than just another mandatory security training.
The platform integrates seamlessly with email clients, allowing users to report phishing attempts with a single click. But the real magic happens in how it personalizes simulations—instead of generic training emails, Hoxhunt adapts to each user’s skill level, sending realistic phishing attempts that keep you on your toes. Every reported attack earns points and rewards, turning what is often seen as a boring security task into a fun, competitive experience.
Another standout feature is its detailed feedback system. Whenever you report an email—whether real or simulated—you get immediate insights into why it was (or wasn’t) a phishing attempt. This helps reinforce learning in a way that sticks. Plus, the analytics and reporting tools provide security teams with valuable insights into organizational risk levels and user performance.
In a world where cyber threats are evolving rapidly, Hoxhunt helps build a proactive security culture rather than just enforcing compliance. It’s engaging, effective, and genuinely makes phishing awareness second nature. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.
Can't convert points to rewards or something like that Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.

Hoxhunt offers an effective training approach by providing real-life phishing simulations, which help employees develop practical skills in identifying suspicious emails. Additionally, its automated and adaptive learning system adjusts difficulty levels based on user performance, ensuring a personalized experience. Another advantage is its seamless integration, as it works really well with Microsoft Outlook, making the training process smooth and convenient for users. It would be great if Hoxhunt offered more customization options, allowing companies greater flexibility in tailoring training content to match their specific industry threats and company policies.
Additionally, the user experience for reporting emails could be improved. Making the reporting process more intuitive would encourage more employees to actively participate. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.

The use of gamification to keep attention and dopamine working makes it easy to use. We are all used to gamifications for kids or for apps like Duolingo, but this is the first time I see gamification at work and its AMAZING.
I really loved the trainning I did when I first arrived to this company, it was really simple and easier to follow than the traditional format (you read, then they test what did you learn and you're done). I think you have a good method because you take into account the Learning curve and the Forgetting curve as well. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.
Sometimes, when I report an email, I have to read a few slides about how to detect it's a spam or fishing. I think it might be innecessary to remind me how to identify the issues when I already know.
And at the end, there's a quiz asking what to do if it was a real danger, that's a good one though. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.

As nowadays phishing and scams are very usual, it is very important to pay attention when it comes to a workplace. Hoxhunt is really best to make people pay attention—below is why.
From my experience, I feel Hoxhunt is a super interactive game where we compete with each other as a fun through the leaderboard, earn badges, and feel proud of that, and earn stars for each right report. These all make me and people using it pay attention to each and every phishing email, and as soon as you receive it, you have the phishing checks and accordingly hit the "Hoxhunt - Report this email" button. Yet not experienced some negative points or downside for the Hoxhunt software, will definately share if any in future. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.

I find it really easy to learn about email security while using Foxhunt. It is very intuitive, as well as fun to use - you feel like you are playing a game. I can track my own development with pleasure and ease. I honestly didn't think I would gain so much knowledge with so little effort when my company first asked me to start using Foxhunt. I'm not exactly sure how to use the quizes feature. It also seems that after you get to a pretty high level in your "game", then it starts to take a lot of time to get any higher - I presume it may lead to partial loss of interest in learning. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.

I like that Hoxhount teaches its users by putting into practice phishing and possible malicious emails. It is pretty easy to integrate and implement on your email provider. On the other hand, the customer support of the tool is very approachable, making the experience of the user smooth.
You can use it as many times as you would like to, and you can go to your dashboard to see how is your progress, which is very motivational. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.
The email tests can be very tempting, causing some frustration when they end up being false. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.
Hoxhunt is an excellent cybersecurity training platform that improves phishing awareness and email security habits. The platform uses gamification to engage users, sending realistic phishing simulations that help employees recognize threats in real-world scenarios. It is simple to use, with realistic simulations. I frequently get emails that are Hoxhunt-related in an attempt to fool me, which I then get rewarded for reporting. It is seamlessly integrated into Outlook, so it works incredibly easily. I have not had to use customer support, but if it is as good as the program itself, I imagine it will be perfect. It is implemented as if it is part of Outlook itself. I have had no dislikes for Hoxhunt. It has always worked perfectly. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.
The thing I like most about Hoxhunt as they make it very interactive with the user. When doing the reporting, it brings you to a pop-up that highlights some items to look out for on Phishing emails as things are getting more and more sophisticated from scammers. Also, it provides a summary of all the items that you have caught and items that have been missed. This allows me to track my ability to catch the phishing emails. For items that I missed (i.e. did not identify but also did not engage with), I wish the system would highlight those as well. Bewertung gesammelt von und auf G2.com gehostet.
