What I do not like about Grammarly is the delays it puts when I create text in Office utilities (MS Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
I understand that the delay is due to analyzing the text I am creating. Yet, that could be done locally on my computer and not, as I suspect, by sending everything I write to the Grammarly server to be done there.

I am busy, between work, family, and writing my doctoral dissertation, I needed something I could use quickly and easily for the numerous revisions and submissions of my dissertation. If I had to pick one thing I liked least about Grammarly is that it does work a bit more slowly on large documents, and I wish there was a way I could pick sections of a document for it to avoid.
