Lack of Canadian support - no payroll, no electronic vendor payments (what is so hard about that - surely it is just a report to a text file?). And recently the transition to Edge. The software is VERY difficult to use. It's like the whole development team is stuck in the '90s. Every task is confusing. We employ someone almost full-time just to help our users navigate the software. I would never recommend Deltek to any firm that wants to control their admin expense or keep their users happy. That Deltek has more then doubled the cost of annual maintenance which you have to subscribed to in order to get the payroll updates. I'm thinking about just inputting the tax rates in myself as I never use their tech support and I don't see any advantage to their software updates. This is not a software for a small company with a limited budget. Deltek keeps charging more and more for this service to the point that it costs more than our original investment of software by several times. This is unacceptable for a small company. Ajera helps my company and teams increase project profitability, improve utilization rates and streamline back office accounting processes. It allows my team members to be fully diverse with different areas of work. Really helps us at corporate keep tract of our off site employees as well. I also like that you can access through the web and its not an app to download. It is also very efficient with tracking expenses for all employees.
