The most things I like in OpenShot Video Editor are as below: - There user interface is very easy to understand and use. - It is compatible with every OS like macOS, Windows OS, and Linux OS. - I can export my output file in my desired format easily.
My main issue has been that for any new video clip added, you have to manually reorganize your project to give it space. I have also not found how to mark the beginning and end of each clip which would be helpful instead of manually doing it.
Simplicity, ease-of-use and essentially zero-cost are the features I most enjoy. As most of the computers in the company run Windows, it makes sharing much easier than having to make different videos to suit different platforms, This saves me time as well...
Simplicity is a double edged sword. While Movie Maker makes it easy for the average user to operate it lacks in real production abilities. If you are looking at splitting audio and splicing with real ease, movie maker is not the right option.
