I'm a CAD designer.... although I used NX cam which is good in manufacturing, ease in used.fast results.
It has little help when using the product. The help function is pretty poor which is not ideal for such a complicated tool. It takes time to learn and understand the potential, which many people don't have time for, and thus hate the program.
I have used many different CAM Softwares. Hypermill is by far the most intelligent. The toolpaths it creates The macros The feature regocnition The automation
The downside is that finding solutions is difficult due to the number of users in my area. It lacks the ability to monitor files and specific quantities. Although hyperMILL is slower compared to programs there's room for improvement in terms of reliability...
