The business tier is nice. I can host multiple sites for a low cost. Also easy of deploying a dummy site as a placeholder just upon addition of a new domain.
HostGator's tech support has always been poor. Customers cannot contact tech support directly. Even if customer support promised to "escalate" the matter, it takes days for tech support to get back to us by email, and either they've closed the case...
When I signed up for netfirms it was simply to register a .ca domain when it had to be done like that. That was some time ago and since then netfirms has kept up with comparable plans and services to the services that I was using.
After the first year, renewal costs start to creep up. Gui look terrible like it was designed in the 90's. Site is pretty slow. Would not use them for hosting or any other services.
