The best thing about Bloomberg Terminal is its multi-functionality. It is a single space where you can access news, data, analytical tools, manage portfolio, conduct research, customise information in a most convenient way.

If anything, the price, but as this was through work. I did prefer the Reuters 3000 Xtra system but that became obsolete a few years ago and Bloomberg Terminal is seen as the default go to system anyway.
