Azure Load Balancer, while functional, has a lower emphasis on detailed reporting, which could limit insights for users needing comprehensive analytics.

  • Users on G2 report that F5 NGINX shines in security features, particularly in SSL/TLS processing with a score of 9.0, which is crucial for organizations prioritizing data protection. Azure Load Balancer, while secure, does not offer the same level of specialized security features, which may be a drawback for security-conscious users.
  • Reviewers say that F5 NGINX's centralized offering, scoring 8.5, allows for easier management of multiple applications, which is beneficial for larger organizations. Azure Load Balancer, while effective, may require more effort to manage multiple services, potentially complicating operations for users with diverse application needs.

It's scalable, secure and almost zero data loss due to distributed network of data farms that helps to maintain data integrity.

The peering should be done over IP Sec tunnels not native peering. The feature set on the far side basic load equalization is proscribed. Yet the pricing model is bit huge.
