Currently nginx can store these files in cache for a short period of time. Adding this into your configuration block tells Nginx to store a maximum of many files in cache for 30 seconds, excluding files that have not been accessed in 20 seconds and only files that have at least 5 accesses during this time. my proposal is that nginx should implement frequently establish these values automatically.
