What is GitGuardian used for?

Hi, it's used for situations where you accidentally push code to GitHub, where you've forgotten to use environment variables for - for example - and some private api key is now exposed and anyone can see it. Gitguardian reads through your code and checks if such mistakes happened, if they did you get notified by email, and you can solve it asap, so that noone sees it before you do.
