Question on: Pulumi
What is Pulumi used for? What is Pulumi used for?
Pulumi is an infrastructure management platform for everything running in the cloud. It empowers organizations to automate cloud infrastructure through code, tame secrets sprawl and configuration complexity through secrets management and orchestration, and manage cloud assets and compliance with the help of AI.
Pulumi IaC allows you to program cloud infrastructure using general purpose programming languages and generative AI. Serverless, Kubernetes, AI/ML, database, and other cloud resources can be programmed easily, often with only one line of code.
Pulumi ESC provides centralized secrets management and orchestration that helps streamline operations, improve traceability, and ensure consistent security practices. You can pull and sync secrets with any secrets store – including AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault, 1Password, and more – and consume secrets in any application, tool, or CI/CD platform. Pulumi ESC makes adopting dynamic, short-lived credentials on demand as a best practice easy.
Pulumi Insights is an asset and compliance management service that gives search, compliance remediation, and resource visualizations over any cloud infrastructure, including resources not provisioned by Pulumi IaC such as ones provisioned by AWS CloudFormation, Azure ARM, HashiCorp Terraform, or even management consoles or SDKs.
Pulumi Copilot, an AI-powered assistant, makes discovering cost savings, running compliance checks, and debugging deployments across your cloud infrastructure as easy as typing a question.
Pulumi encourages infrastructure, platform, development, DevOps, and security teams to collaborate and accelerates time to market with greater control and minimized risk.
