Question on: Paperbell
MembershipDo you plan to expand with the option of users being able to create membership communities via Paperbell? Or at least be able to connect already existing communities, like Circle or Mighty Networks, to Paperbell?
Hi Simone! We always build based on what our community asks for, and I think this one is a great idea. No promised timelines but it's definitely something that I think makes sense for the future.

Question on: Paperbell
How can I add a client to a package, if the client has paid me through an outside source such as venmo or cash?I have my package settings to pay, then book, is there a way to keep this setting and add a client to my package even when they aren't paying through the Paperbell portal?
Did you try going into the client tab and gifting the package to the client? It's not technically true, but you received the money upfront.
You can 'clone' the package with a click in Paperbell and call it
"Package x with cash" or "Package x with Venmo".
Voila! I've done this with Paypal when the client wanted to finance through paypal credit. Hope this helps!
Hi Angie! Yes, absolutely we actually have a few different ways to do this.
You can either gift the package to them, create a special coupon code so that they can access the product for free, or create a clone of the original package and make it free and invite-only.
Provide them the package.

Question on: Cloverleaf
What is the best general approach for coaching an employee as well as a team on how to best utilize Cloverleaf? In my role I coach employees and teams. How can I roll this our to the rest of my company? What is the most efficient & effective process to roll it out?
Working as a front line manager, I had the opportunity to rollout Cloverleaf with the existing team and every new team member. Having said this, let me talk about the process I followed and then share use cases.
Rolling it out
1. Over the course of three weeks, the team completed the available assessments. Every week we defined the assessments to complete.
2. Once this is done, got help from the Cloverleaf staff to have a group session. They provided an overview of the tool and helped understand the navigation and the available information but also explained the assessments and shared relevant documentation. It is not intuitive understanding the results and this session is of great help. They also provided insights about the team based on the overall results.
3. Finally, as a team leader I began encouraging the use of Cloverleaf in our specific team dynamics.
Talking about our new hires, answering the Cloverleaf assessments is part of our onboarding process. At this point, I’m comfortable talking to my new team member about the tool and providing the demo and the explanations of the assessments. There are interesting benefits of this:
- Help our new hire learn about their new team. Joining a team is always daunting.
- Procure better understanding between the new hire and her or his mentors.
- Allow mentors to adjust their content and feedback so it resonates better with the new hire.
Use cases for manager
Typically, I leverage the tool to prepare for my one-on-one sessions as well as coordinating teams around projects. Going into more detail:
One-on-one sessions
- To provide feedback in general, Cloverleaf helps me adjust my wording so I can communicate more effectively with my team member.
- In career conversations, Cloverleaf provides insights into your team’s motivation, strengths and weaknesses and can help you plan goals together.
Team coordination
- Depending on the needs of the project at hand, you can assign team members with complementary skills to get the job done efficiently. Of course, over time I try to mix it up to offer my team variety in the tasks to complete and provide plenty of opportunity for all team members.
Use cases for team members
- Enable more effective communication in mentor-mentee relationships.
- Allow team members working on a project to better understand their peers’ strengths to play to their best.
One final challenge to mention is what to do after the team knows each other well and seeking additional motivation to keep using it. Staying in touch with the Cloverleaf team can help you deal with it over time.
Every organization is different in how they manage to launch platforms for their teams/personnel. We took a top-down approach with our organization. We shared the types of assessments that Cloverleaf covers (behavior/strengths/culture), a road map on how this can benefit our team's communication with each other and our customers. From there it spread like wildfire. Each department head wanted to share with their teams and in a few months, we covered about 40% of our target audience. By taking this approach, it has grown organically and continue to get more request to launch new teams. We are now expanding to Latin America and Europe with Cloverleaf. Please see our suggestion on the Cloverleaf launch plan:
Process - we are presenting to the teams with time slots
Surveys prior to launch to see where they stand prior to the assessments…complete survey at day 180.
Complete assessments prior to having the walkthrough workshop
Have the facilitator coach them on how to make sense of the results and how to apply
First 45 days (behavior assessments) – Awareness first & builds the foundation for communication/engagement
Next 45 days – Application of your strengths in the work that you do…awareness of areas of opportunity that you need to overcome
(strengths and skills are different) – Strengths is what energizes you – Skills are more of an action
Next 45 days – More around Instinct/values and it changes within your environment. Management Philosophy – looks at the way we want to work with others, depending on the situation. Motivation.
We are excited to continue the development of our teams through Cloverleaf and the new assessments that are to come.
