I really didn't like Wishpond. It wasn't very good for marketing. One of the biggest issues was the contract, which locked us in for a couple of months, and even after we stopped using them, they kept charging my card. The initial setup was pretty difficult, and having meetings with their team was frustrating because they were always overpromising.

We used Wishpond for marketing, but it wasn't very good.

It streamlines marketing by bringing together everything from landing pages and pop-ups to email marketing in one platform.  I've used it to build simple landing pages, some for email collection, some for selling products, and it's been brilliant every time.

Take a while to get use to the landing page builder.

**What do you like best about Wishpond?**

They sounded appealing as they did everything, google ads management, social media, SEO and marketing campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Wishpond?**

Very badly organized, they got too big too fast and couldn’t keep up with the tasks on hand. They farm the work out to Mexico and South Africa and their agents are overloaded with work. Countless apologies for sub standard performance. Google ads specialist was useless.
I wasted around $20k on this lot and on 2 occasions when I gave them notice to cancel they continued taking payments. They wouldn’t refund me but thankfully my credit card company approved the charge back. I noticed over the past few months that I’m getting less hits on my website. I hired a  SEO specialist and it look as if they messed up my ability to be searched for on Google.Malice or just incompetence, your guess is as good as mine. I’m now having to pay the specialist to re index my pages so they’re found again. 

This isn’t the 1st agency I’ve used,  but is most definitely the worst.

Wishpond has been a helpful addition to our marketing toolbox. It’s straightforward and makes managing campaigns easier, especially if you’re handling multiple tasks at once. After using it for a few months, we’ve noticed a steady uptick in leads and engagement.

The platform isn’t flashy, but it works. It pulls together tools like email campaigns and landing pages into one place, which saves a lot of time. While there’s a small learning curve for some features, you get the hang of it pretty quickly.

The support team has been great—they’re quick to respond and really know their stuff. That said, there are occasional moments where the software feels a bit rigid, like when you’re trying to customize certain elements. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind.

If you’re a small business looking for a simple, effective way to boost your marketing, Wishpond is a solid choice.

In the end, I gained absolutely nothing from this experience. I feel misled and trapped into a service I couldn’t escape, leaving me deeply frustrated and disappointed. It was a significant waste of time, energy, and hard-earned money. This has been a hard lesson, but one I won’t forget. My advice to others: steer clear and save yourself the frustration.

**What do you dislike about Wishpond?**

I engaged with Wishpond, hoping for a fruitful partnership, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. About two to three months into the service, I realized it wasn’t working for me. I requested to end the agreement, assuming there would be some understanding, but I later learned I was locked into a 12-month contract. Despite my efforts to explain my situation, they declined to make any adjustments and responded in a way that felt more like legal posturing than customer support. Over the course of the year, I paid $3600 and received only nine leads, none of whom responded to follow-ups. This raised doubts about the quality of the leads themselves. While their application initially appeared impressive, it turned out to be far too complex for an average user to manage without additional costly support—offered at a steep monthly fee. I take responsibility for not fully understanding the contract I signed, but I share this to caution others. If you’re considering their services, I’d advise reading the fine print carefully and considering whether the offerings truly align with your needs. My intention is simply to help others avoid the disappointment and financial strain I experienced.

The primary solution I was offered was a popup designed to encourage visitors to request more information about a course I teach. They installed it on my website, but it was visually underwhelming and, as I mentioned earlier, entirely ineffective. For this, I was charged $300 per month as part of a locked-in 12-month contract.

  ### 7. RUN AWAY ! Worst experience ever to set up a landing page / paid $3000 and ended up with nothing

Nothing - They were pretty reponsive and looked professional  before the first payment, they showed their true colors after...

I contacted them to set a simple landing page (that I have designed) - They ask me $2500. The execution was very poor, the landing page has never  been active on my domain, the format was not stable. When I asked them to fix the format I was told that I have to pay an additionnal $1188 fee per year "to host my landing page"! this have never been discussed of course- Run away

**What do you like best about Wishpond?**

When you hire a tech-centric company that purports to use "teams" of creative people, you'd expect a certain level of expertise.  We had never advertised on Google.  We hired Wishpond to create a campaign promoting an event in the fall in Italy.  A food tour ending in a highly popular food festival.  My account with Google was brand new when Wishpond went to work.  Unblemished.

Two and a half months into spring, my account rep forwards me an email from Google saying "the appeal for your account suspension has been denied".  ???  What appeal?  What suspension??!!  It's June, people have to book flights and the company I hired to make Google work for me has somehow gotten my business suspended before we'd even begun.   It was July by time it got straightened out   June was a large black hole for which they still charged me $135.

Cut to now and they say that I have a contract with them for the rest of the year.  They showed an agreement with someone else's signature on it   I show them a screenshot of their Google page saying "you can cancel at any time".

Whatever benefit I derived from some of their work was offset by the mishandling of the Google ad campaign.  They were supposed to be experts.  I trusted them.  I shouldn't have.

Unreliable, untrustworthy, passive/aggressive.

In particular, Mbali Nhlapo has been a great asset in helping me to get my online store off the ground. She is pleasant and professional and I'm glad she's on my team!

Having a team to work with who does the tasks we're working on regularly has been very helpful for my small business. They can do things quickly and easily so that I can focus on what I do best. 
Their customer service has been excellent. Every person I've worked with has been very supportive and helpful to resolve things and keep everything running smoothly.

Clarity of communication can be hard sometimes with distance and time zones, as well as having to get my goals and ideas into workable tasks for others.

The marketing Wishpond has is effective in that I was certain they had all the resources to deliver what they promote.
Wishpond is also highly effective at collecting funds for their services.

**What do you dislike about Wishpond?**

1. There is no quality control for the services they deliver. 
2. There is a lack of effective communication. There were missed meetings, and or meetings without agendas.
3. They have exceptionally poor customer service for something that is quite simple. 

Integration of a solution has not worked.
Wishpond does not have integrity as part of its service delivery or value its relationship with its customers. 
They took a canned approach in how they said they were meeting the needs of my project. 
This means there was no connection or meaning in what they were producing. 
A simple project that would take less than 3 weeks to organise with any other provider is taking more than 90 days with Wishpond and there is no appearance they will ever deliver. 

They agreed to build a solution on a third-party platform.
It has been more than 3 months and they still have not completed it.

Wishpond was meant to be a solution partner for services that would support our neurodiverse stakeholders to communicate more effectively. 
They did not deliver.

Absolutely nothing. We provided them with bunch of professional creatives. All they did took them, added 1 stock image from 1st google page and said here is your brand book. Afterwards they did nothing we just paid money and haven't received anything

Literally company has only sales team, they do nothing, only scout for people and sell them their zero quality service

After some hesitation, I entered into a contract with Wishpond following about six months of negative experiences, but after about a week, I realized it was worth it. The customer receives professional marketing from them. Juliana Slazar held our campaign together incredibly well. I received attention, flexibility, and close communication. Highly recommended !!!! The cheapest price on the marketing market for high quality professionalism.

We chose Wishpond because they put together a good plan of attack and opened the company up to new marketing ideas and platforms.  The content they made was well produced and the team we were provided was helpful and genuinely cared.

Their pricing is right on par for what you would spend anywhere.

**What do you dislike about Wishpond?**

We have a unique product that needs a lot of attention because it targets very specific individuals.  When you hire ANY marketing company you realize how fast time flys by..Weeks turn into months in no time.  Sometimes the results are not what you expect and as immediate as you hope, but this is part of the industry.

Having a good plan of attack and executing a plan are two different things.  Attention and meetings by the hired company and Wishpond need to be clear and concise.  Results are not immediate and may take time.  I would use them in the future with a differnt approach.

Most helpful was Luisa. We thorughly enjoyed working with her. Luisa was very detailed and knowledgable about the entire process. And detailed about fixing many implementation issues. 

We love the automations that were created and were very very impressed. I would say the emails, landing page, and all the pop up designs met our expectatoins and matched our brand. 

We are very happy with our end result and I suppose the BEST news yet have already started generating leads and seeing coupon codes coming in and making sales!

The implementation had some errors and pieces that were missing. But Luisa took care of every detail- stayed in contact with us until everything was complete.

Wishpond genuinly cares about its clients that it serves. When I had issues arrise, they were quick to get someone on the case and solve them in a timely manner!

**What do you dislike about Wishpond?**

Wishpond markets itself as an all inclusive marketing service, and I think they are embilishing a little bit when they say that. There are many things Wishpond is not able to do or integrate with, and some minor bugs in the program itself. I do wish that they were more upfront with limitations, specifically domain hosting limitations, and recomended ad spend.

Wishpond is helping greatly to solve the issue I have of marketing materials. By using Wishpond, I was able to get those materials to begin putting ads out for my small business.

What I loved most was how easy they made building my funnel. They explained all the features and what was included and the benefits of what I needed.

The dashboard is not easy to navigate. There are prices listed for additonal services needed which can make added services more difficult unless you ask someone first.

They automated so much of my lead collection that I don't really have to do much. SMS marketing was a task that I was avoiding to do, but they not only built an amazing landing page, but also SMS marketing, and my email drip campaign.

MY GOAL IS TO MOVE MY BUSINESS AWAY FROM 1-ON-1 COACHING TO GROUP COACHING.  MY 1-0N-1 CLIENTS WERE REACHED ORGANICALLY BUT A NEW GROUP PLATFORM REQUIRED A MORE STRATEGIC MARKETING PLAN.

My experience with Wishpond wasn't the best but with that said, Mike Delit on the customer service team was absolutely fantastic to deal with. Superstar of that company without a doubt. I can't say enough great things about him - attentive, empathtic, caring, and responsive just to name a few.

Wishpond unfortunately really dropped the ball with my company but I'm leaving working with them on a positive because of how great Mike Delit on the customer service team was.

Their process is really neat. But they stopped putting in effort after about a month and unfortunately I didn't get any benefits out of working with them.

Very slow to build web site.  Does not compare to competition.  I could never post anything on my site the whole time they had control, I could not post any events to blogs
the campaigns I thought were too wide a net and the SEO's never were right.  In the end they own the site. If I don't pay a year of hosting, I have nothing for my $10,000

There is nothing I like about Wishpond at the moment. This company promised that contracting with them would save me time. They have cost me time instead.

They have missed all their deadlines, been dishonest in meetings, and force you to stay in a one-year contract even when they fail to deliver the services you have paid for. Their communication is terrible, and their sales team is aggressive.  I can't belive how bad they are at their jobs, and honestly their customer service is the worst I have experienced in many, many years.

They were supposed to take over our marketing but completely failed. They cannot even manage to put up Facebook ads. This is the first time we hired "professionals" and the first time we didn't meet our marketing goals. I have NO experience with marketing before I started my business and was more successful than having a team at Wishpond - mostly because they haven't delivered on the services they were contracted for.

Poor communication and follow-up. In fact, Wishpond has placed a startup portion at our company at risk. The quality of the copy was incredibly poor with headlines and calls to action that were generic. #1 complaint--Wishbone failed to leverage our market-dominating position to create productive collateral including improper English in headlines.   When we sought to cancel, they blamed the customer and wanted to enforce a contract.

The cost is competitive, and I like their premade email templates.  It is pretty easy to understand and use.  Their customer support team is responsive and helpful.

It lacks a comprehensive data analytics tool to organize all your email campaigns, which is very important in email marketing.  Not no way to download the email stats in CVS or any other way.

Quickly create and send simple emails, including event invites and monthly newsletters, to your prospects without costing arms and legs.  We can cancel anytime if we are not happy since we are paying for the tool monthly.

The contest campaign went ok, I gained appox. 800 leads.

1. I did not receive 1 campaign every 2 months.
2. I did not receive any phone numbers to contact staff.
3. The quality of the images in the ads and emails were poor.
4. Not all of the emails in the campaign were delivered.
5. The quality of writing in the mails was poor.  Very general and grammar issues as if the individual did not speak English well.
6. They continue to charge my credit card even after I revoked that authorization, cancelled that credit card and they terminated the agreement.

**Recommendations to others considering Wishpond:**

The company terms do not appear in the agreement/contract you sign.  The contract renews unless you request it to stop 2 months in advance.  There are no termination terms in the agreement.  I can not figure out how much sales tax they are charging me.  Once they have your credit card they will force the billings to go through even after you revoke authorization.

I needed to increase my sales.  After 2 campaigns, I had 4 sales total.

Everyone I interacted with on the team was perfectly cordial.

They just didn't deliver on the promise. The strategy showed no understanding of my customer avatar or business goals. Copy is simply cut and paste from my own website and subsequent copy attempts were awkward and ineffectual. We kept meeting again to try and troubleshoot these issues and they'd promise to do better. but then offer half baked strategies, hideous stock design and abysmal copy. I've been two months without an effective second campaign, meaning that the entire lead gen for a launch in January is ruined. Once they have your investment, they have no motivation to do better and there's nothing to guarantee you that they'll actually produce results. I'd think long and hard about investing in services from Wishpond because once you've paid them per their terms, they can pretty much not deliver and you have no recourse. 

They offer to "work" with you and use other products in their suite, but if you hired them for lead gen, why would web design be the pivot? Or self-serve? Self serve is far from a 360' lead gen product.

I'm a solopreneur and while it seemed to exciting initially to work with them, it has cost my business hard in results, time and money to have hired Wishpond

**Recommendations to others considering Wishpond:**

If you're a small business in a specialized space like medicine, health or mental health don't use them.

None-working with them has been painfully time consuming and frustrating and while leads were produced, they've been low quality and I've had to do the FB ad campaigns myself because they're train wreck with no accountability to actual results.

Karina is my account manager who has made my online marketing program actually work. I have tried other companies in the past and they did not really "get" the B2B on the industrial products I sell. Karina has introduced marketing methods that have boosted sales and allowed me to capture an email list that I can target. Karina has a separate list for folks who looked at the page for more than 45 seconds and even lists for folks who have abandoned carts that we can market to. We are working on making special lists on Facebook and Instagram to show ads to folks who have purchased our products. This way we keep our "brand" well known. I have learned things that I did not even know I did not know about making my website get more traffic. I like how beautiful Karina and her team makes the popups for my site and how fast she gets them done.

**What do you dislike about Wishpond?**

Took me too long to find Wishpond. My business growth has been constant and steady, even during COVID, but at this exact time I wish I had more sales of my MAG Meters. We are working on this one with a new PopUp and Exit pop. I must say I can not think of things I dislike because compared to the other companies I tried the folks at Wishpond are exceptional. One teeny thing is.. the price per month is high, but I remind myself I get what I pay for.

I need a lesson on using the dashboard. I can see now I am not good at it. I bet there will be many benefits of learning how to sue it.

I now have a full on email marketing and online marketing program with pop ups in all the right places and an e-mail marketing system that, to me, is fully automated. I do not have to do ANYTHING and I get leads as I am using the Fully Managed program from Wishpond. Also, I no longer have to design ad graphics as Wishpond does that for me.

I like landing pages as  they can be easily customized. I also like that you copy html code of landing page and paste it to any website.

**What do you dislike about Wishpond?**

The company appears to be international. After logging in, you can select your language from drop down list. Even if you select your preferred language, all text and templates remain in English. If you live in a non-English speaking country, Wishpond is essentially unusable. There are little things missing to make Wishpond great and usable internationally, but their support is the worst you can imagine. They don't listen to customer feedback. A few examples:
Two years ago I requested that they enable the editing and translation of the "Unsubscribe" button and "Preferences" in the footer of an email so that I could use email marketing in Europe to comply with the GDPR regulation. I sent them translations and communicated frequently with support, but they did nothing.
Recently Wishpond introduced a new feature called "Appointments". This is a very useful feature as customers can book an appointment date and time with you. However, it has one major problem because the calendar is only in English and cannot be translated. The time format cannot be set in 24 hours format.  Again if you come from a non-English speaking country this feature is unusable. I have contacted support to enable translation of the calendar into other languages, but as always their response negative: it is currently only in English, we don't know if we will enable translation into other languages.
It's a shame. Wishpond is a 99% finished product that could be used in non-English speaking countries, but because their development team is not willing to finish 1% it cannot be used at all.

I work as an agency and helping to small companies get more leads and clients. Wispond would be an excellent tool for internet marketing, but I cannot use it in Europe as Wishpond does not enable the translation of some elements.

Lack of communication from the team and lack of results. I have had a conversation with the team multiple times and the next two weeks they seem a little more enthusiastic - but then it goes back the same way.

I would definitely recommend Wishpond. I am still using Mailchimp as a go between because it integrates with many other apps I use, but as Wishpond grows and they connect with more options, I will solely use them. They are a great platform to use and their support is amazing!

**What do you like best about Wishpond?**

Email marketing is my bread and butter. I need to have absolute trust in the platform I'm working with.
Setting my campaigns and flows was very easy for me to do and they work seamlessly.
Until now, I haven't experienced any deliverability issues (but make sure to clean your list properly anyway).
I've created all kinds of automation, from basic to advanced, and they do not fail.
Webhooks, API, and Direct Integrations are all available for me, and I use them daily to integrate with 3rd party tools I'm using.
The support team is amazing and they do whatever they can to help you (also quick to reply). For me, that's key!
I'm also aware of the fact that WishPond offers many other features, which I still haven't had the opportunity to take advantage of; Landing Pages, Sweepstakes, Vote Contest, and the newly introduced feature: Appointments.
I'm sure these too will come in handy in the future, as WishPond guys definitely know what they are doing.

**What do you dislike about Wishpond?**

The UI is slightly outdated. For me, that's not much of a big deal. I look for substance and that's something that WishPond does offer.

**What problems is Wishpond solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am constantly building my email list and WishPond is helping me automate everything that's related to my email marketing.
