**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul W. | Director Of Business Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The course content was solid but the trainer;Antoine Mandy was even better

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Nothing to dislike other than it's always challenging to fit any type of training into a busy day of "doing"

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Consider investing in WbD training...it's worth every penny

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Returning to an SDR role after year's leading SDR orgs, I needed to exercise atrophied prospecting muscles and build upon existing sales skills with new methodologies to drive increased rates of prospecting success

  ### 2. An excellent sales course!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Walter B. | Sr. Account Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I like the suggested real-scenario application of this which was highlighted in the pre-work videos. The upside of using it is that it gives you a proven plan of attack.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I didn't love the role-playing (i never have) but understand that it is necessary.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

I suggest taking this course but this will give a proven schematic way of approaching the sale from beginning to end.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coming into a new company, it's helping me to understand exactly how my company wants to approach these prospects in great detail.

  ### 3. WBD is changing the way I approach selling and Brent Larsen was amazing!

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I love how simple it was to understand. I'm a visual learner, and I feel like the homework and trainings were a home run for me. Our instructor even tailored the training to our specific type of sale!

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I honestly have no bad things to say about this training other than it was during my lunchtime each week, and had to inhale food during the 5-minute break :)

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WBD is changing how I approach customer conversations, deals and selling. The old way of doing things is out the door, and WBD has modernized that with straightforward approaches and tweaks!

The LMS course aligned with the workshops provided the ideal learning environment.

The frameworks and concepts are very easy to follow.

Very customer-centric approach which goes beyond deal closure and dives into expansion and growth.

Our trainer was just great.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

For the seasoned sales pro a lot of what they're instructing is common knowledge to those that have been in the business for a while.

Although it might seem redundant at times, keep an open mind as these frameworks are great.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- More perspective on frameworks is super helpful, especially coming from the world of MEDDIC

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The blend of recorded, pre-work, real-time and post-work material was a really thorough approach to ensure what we were learning was absorbed. The trainers, particularly Alia, were some of the best, most engaging trainers I've had the pleasure of working with.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

It was pretty full-on; lots of material to get through in a reasonably short period. However, it kept the pace up and it was all relevant material so it was worth it. Participants may be able to extend the timelines otherwise workload needs to be managed effectively to create the space.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Do it! And commit to it. Make the space in your diary for training and you will reap the benefits.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Winning by design delivered some fantastic CS training addressing both the science and the art of Customer Success. They covered some key methodologies as well as some of the softer skills associated with delivering value to our customers.

If you can fit it into your budget, they're one of the best in the business

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Winning by Design helped us implement and coach SaaS sales best practices that we continue to use today

There are absolutely no downsides unless you do not invest the expected time yourself doing the prep work.

You cannot go to any single session without picking up new insights and tactics.

Insightful and refreshing!!

Tools that you will use on a daily basis.

  ### 14. Expect the unexpected (but then it's sort of expected?)

**Reviewed by:** Jason S. | Director of Client Support Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Very knowledgeable and engaging presenters help bring the materials alive, allowing the lesson to resinate better.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Too many goodies, too short of a time - I'd prefer just grabbing a few of the concepts and spending longer on mastering them.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Ensure you commit to it, and all staff you line up to participate commits to it.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping to build on current core skills while filling in the gap in areas that needed development.

  ### 15. Great content and engaging trainers!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charu G. | Director, Customer Success - UK/Nordics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

WbD did 2 courses for us - one focused on CSM training while the other was around managing teams. Both of the courses were exceptional with great trainers who were engaging and kept the trainings super interactive. The CSM training was quite actionable with lots of great pointers to take back and implement.
I am really happy with the course content and would highly recommend it.
Alia and Harry did an amazing job to keep the sessions interactive and fun with role plays and exercises and asking some great questions.

Thank you both and thanks to WbD for conducting the sessions for us.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Fun and interactive,
Actionable content

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

More CS examples for Manager training
It would be great to have follow-ups after 3/6 months on what the teams have implemented

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Standardizing the frameworks that each CSM can implement across the organization
CSMs have learned new ways of tackling the issues, ideas of storytelling and action pointers at each stage of customer journey.

  ### 16. helpful and great methodology to learn

The impact of the storytelling "hero story", spiced framework and the importance of the 1st value and full value.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

nothing. I like everything. I really enjoy the classes.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Study the materials before the class so you can learn faster and do your homework.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To understand the customer journey and how it is essential to create recurrent impact to get recurrent revenue through renewals, upselling, x-selling and reselling in the SaaS Company.

  ### 17. Excellent, Actionable Content in 4 Weeks - Managing & CSM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rich F. | Basketball Official, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Over the last two months I have completed two Winning by design courses - one in leading a team and one focused on best practices in CSM. The courses were great and their flipped classroom format really helps with having the content stick. The instructors Antoine Mandy & Alia Pirani were awesome! Their energy was spot on and kept us really engaged for 8 hours over a 4-week period (twice). The content that was covered was perfect for anyone who is a manager or in a CSM organization - the content was extremely specific and relevant for CSM which made it great. The format of the classes was very engaging even in a remote setting. Winning by design really has a formula that works well for these trainings! I highly recommend Winning By Design.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Content and format of receiving the content. Alia and Antoine were also great as instructors.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Only thing that was difficult was completing the homework in time for the next session.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consistent CSM approach to managing clients and managing a team effectively especially in a remote environment.

  ### 18. I've learned a lot! Thanks Alia

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriella B. | account growth manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

It was a long but delightful learning process. The high quality of the material available, the vast knowledge of the teachers (especially Alia), the shared techniques, and the techniques used to teach us were incredible. In addition, we have one-year access to the platform where I can always come back to review course topics. Overall, my experience was excellent!

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Shared techniques and the techniques used to teach us were incredible and we have one-year access to the platform where I can always come back to review course topics.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Our day-to-day AGM here at Pipefy is particular, and sometimes some topics seem very general. But the exercise of bringing learning to our reality remained.
Personalize content to the reality of the company.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am more confident in selling and organizing my portfolio and training to solve conflict situations and more productivity.

  ### 19. Structure can be helpful and how!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manasi M. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

I took up the 4-week course (2 hours each week) for Customer Success conducted by Alia Pirani.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

We as Sales reps often ponder over how to keep client conversations real while also ensuring we don't miss out on any important aspects in the process, don't we?
This course gave a structure to the interactions we have with our clients so that both the sales rep and the client can get the most value out of each meeting or interaction.
I loved the way the course was conducted in small parts distributed over weeks. It allowed me enough time to practice each learning and discuss my experiences.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Adding more customization to the material based on the company and the audience will help in gaining directly actionable insights.
The course is majorly useful for English-speaking organizations and clients. It'll be useful to have a part that refers to the approach to be taken for non-English speaking customers.
Understanding the culture of a particular market goes a long way in Customer Success. I believe that could be added too.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem: The customer success approach differs from rep to rep and we were looking to streamline the same to make everyone see success with it.
Benefits: Received a direction to take in streamlining it and the blueprints added to the clarity needed.

  ### 20. Winning with Winning by Design

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I really enjoyed having Melissa as our instructor as she made everything fun and interactive while keeping it very relatable at the same time!

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

The homework/ prework can at times be a lot and somewhat time-consuming on a week-to-week basis.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

I would definitely recommend it as there are great takeaways from the class, and although some things will be a refresher, they put an interesting spin on a number of different areas that have helped me improve my career in sales.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping to improve the sales process with unique and proven steps to win more deals and efficiently upsell.

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2022

I usually struggle in a classroom setting but the interactive nature of the programme was extremely helpful in keeping me engaged throughout

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I found it all useful, nothing worth noting off dislike

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was helpful in developing pain points and knowing what questions to ask to target specific notions

  ### 22. Customer Success for Impact review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** André M. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

It helped me and our function, to implement a new structured way of approaching customers and making them even more successful than before. We also learned different strategies to find out critical information in a more targeted and faster way. It will help me, especially in onboarding, finding out the key pain points and wishes my customer have and also with how i should be speaking to them, in order to break boundaries and concerns.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

-Informative
-structured
-great instructor

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

-big gaps between sessions
-couldnt attend all

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I already feel that speaking to customers, and finding out what pains they have is already much easier than before. The full impact i can not see to this stage but im confident, that i will use these models for good and get much more benefits out of using them!

  ### 23. WbD and Especially Melissa Rock!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krista Z. | Solution Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Sales training with our Sales, Alliance and Solution Architects teams

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I have taken a lot of sales training classes in my career and one of the best with what we just finished with WbD. I love how they combined online and instructor-led training and Melissa was so good - engaging and the time flew by - she made it fun! Love the breakouts and the Kahoot games to reinforce what we learned. Definitely would recommend this to anyone considering a sales training program like this.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I cant say i disliked anything really -- it was a very well though out program and I walked away learning new tools to use in meetings and demos.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unified sales methodology to help increase sales while setting ourselves apart from the competition. More focused on how to relate to and solve clients true pains vs repetitive show and tell.

  ### 24. WbD Will Lift your Team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

There is so much good here! First, the cadence of pre-work, live sessions, real-life application, and post-work lends itself to high rates of retention. I think that having some overlapping themes and consistent messaging in the modules was really well done. Second, the facilitation of sessions was stellar; Alia was amazing. Lastly, it was catered to our business case and needs as an organization.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Nothing. If I have to choose my least favorite aspect it would be how heavy the playbooks are in terms of content. This is great for detail and covering all bases but it's a lot.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

They are a true partner and you will see results! DO IT

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a customer-facing group within an organization in the later start-up stages, we struggle with the overall structure, process, and organization of driving customer impact. Winning by Design has helped solve this by clearly articulating every role within the customer lifecycle, how we add value, and how to drive that value from pre-sales through upsell and renewal. It is both macro and micro strategies including playbooks, language, and always the 'why' behind each module. I have a clearer understanding of my role within the organization and how I can drive value on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

  ### 25. Great training with a great trainer, Antoine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max B. | AE, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Our sales team took this training and it provided a lot of insights into every aspect of the sales cycle we go through with tips and best practices to get to the next stage in the funnel (or bowtie). Things we had never thought to do but seem so obvious now that we've taken this course.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I liked the pacing of the course, each session was impactful and built on the homework we had prior to each session. Loved that it included roleplay time as well to practice the new skills and concepts

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

It was scheduled during my lunch and I was hungry the entire time

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving an inefficient sales process where we're wasting our efforts or losing deals that could have been won if we handled them differently at the start to be more impact and consumer-centric

  ### 26. Very educational and beneficial to being in sales

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nancy D. | Business Development Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Yamini was a great instructor. Fun and helpful!

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I enjoyed it all. I guess it was early morning for me but I cant complain.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

If you are stuck in old routines or new to sales, this would be a course for you. It helps open up new ideas and apply what you learn daily.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Breaking walls and building new structures helping me get out of my old habits and start selling in a new way.

  ### 27. Winning by Design was an excellent partner to take us from good to great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Security and Investigations | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The energy from all team members was inspiring! You can easily feel that they truly believe in their solution and care about your business.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

There are multiple programs and services - make sure to discuss what is included in the SOW and what will be an add-on. All programs and services had value - especially the training post launch with Melissa, but may fall out of original scope.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Be open to all recommendations. It can sometimes be challenging to hear that what you are doing is not the best / easiest path to success. While they are just that, recommendations, understand that they are derived from the success of others.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have recently grown by acquisition and needed to put process and structure in place to make our go to market strategy easily repeatable and founded on best practices.

  ### 28. Top Notch Sales Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grant T. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Customer-centric sales training for B2B SaaS GTM teams

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Highly interactive and simple, yet powerful concepts. Integrated learning approach with nice mix of media and online teachings. Antoine is a top-notch sales professor.
Tone, ACE and Trading vs. Negotiating concepts are invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

A bit much on the homework side, but it was worth the extra time spent. I'd like to take an abbreviated version of the course again in 3-6 months as a refresh!

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Highly effective and worth every minute! I highly recommend for any GTM team member.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Selling at a higher level. I've noticed improvements in my tone and prospect interactivity immediately. It would be great if our org had a tool like Gong or Wingman to help analyze our calls and help us further implement the WBD concepts...just sayin ;)

  ### 29. Great for the Customer Facing Individual Interested in the Full Customer Life Cycle

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam Y. | Senior Team Lead, Client Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

The CS/AM training helped provide a framework around a lot of the tasks and activities we were already doing by instinct. We plan on replicating some of the breakout sessions in our own CS offsite next time we do one. We are also leveraging the SPICED model for our AE to CS/AM handoff.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The water sip trick (you'll have to take the course to learn what this is), but it is a simple and easy trick to solve an uncomfortable problem. The resources are handy to have to refer back to, the people you learn, and the experiences you get to hear about and pull on are invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

There wasn't much I disliked about the course. I'd say if you've been in CS long enough it validates a lot you probably already know which some people may not enjoy or find boring. However, there is always a thing you can learn here or there and the people you meet along the way are worth it.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Both of my experiences with Winning by Design on both the education front and services front have been nothing but professional, organized, and valuable. When you are an educator in all things customer-facing you really know how to nail down education and the customer journey. They have a great customer experience and look forward to working with them again. I will be running all o my AMs through their course as well.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned above, the CS/AM course is really helping with our AE to CS/AM transition. That process was really not the smoothest. This helps make our kickoffs more professional which leads to a smoother and more impactful onboarding process with measurable objectives. It is also helping us build our internal playbook and library of resources. This will make our employee onboarding a better experience as well.

  ### 30. Thanks Antoine for sales training! So helpful:)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda Y. | Sales Development Representative, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Antonie provided 4 sales training sessions for us to improve our sales and prospecting skills. It's an interactive, comprehensive and practical course. We also did quizzes and role play in the classes. I've learned a lot such as ACE and SPICED methods. These sales techniques will enable me to engage with customers, handle objections and win more potential customers. Overall, it's excellent.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Great coach
High-quality material
Practical techniques
Structured
Roleplay

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Nothing I dislike about the course. Antoine is professional and friendly. It's a pleasure learning with teammates too.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've learned how to do research before prospecting, how to ask smart questions and how to deal with objections, etc. I've got more meetings by utilizing these skills.

  ### 31. WbD - Very useful for building customer relationships

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

My favorite part was the energy from the Instructor (Alia Pirani) and her ability to engage all team members during each session. The lessons are tied to acronyms which makes it easier to remember things.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Nothing I really disliked. There are 4x 2hr sessions over 4 weeks. It is sometimes hard to reserve that much time with calendars being so full. Highly recommended to make the time.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Make an effort to set aside the time to complete the prework and participate in the active sessions.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding better ways to communicate with customers and keep meeting on point and progressing. WbD provides a number of tools that help you remeber what to focus on and how to stay engaged.

  ### 32. Winning by Design trainings were interactive and informative experiences.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick C. | Customer Relationship Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Seeing our customers from a different perspective (seeing them as heroes).

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Roleplaying scenarios in each training (in-person or virtual): appreciated the scenarios and how they fit into our business duties/needs; unfortunately cannot compare services to competitors (no experiences with competitors yet).

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Nothing I dislike about Winning by Design. Our speakers were excellent communicators and made every presentation fun and interactive. There's nothing I would change.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Be open to their training and suggestions.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to attract customers and how to retain them; benefits me by being able to ask my customers more open-ended questions. It also helped me understand the types of questions to ask my customers as they relate to their business needs.

  ### 33. A relevant course for Sales in the startup world.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Iam BDR from a Saas Company and WbD course was so important to me and my professional build. The course managed to give me a better view of the Saas market and how to shorten my sales cycle without harming my quality of service. I will definitely recommend him to other colleagues!

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

What I liked the most were the interactions with the tutors, who were highly trained and references, in addition to the practical examples that were very consistent with my daily reality.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Sometimes we run out of time management during sessions, but this is all due to constant interactions. I think this time issue would be a cool thing to review with the WbD team.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Get as much out of this course as you can, the tutors are amazing and very capable.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I managed to improve my approaches with excellence with clients and leverage my volume to achieve more results.

  ### 34. Great interactive sessions with valuable information

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

I completed the Customer Success for Impact course in hopes that it would help me have better conversations with clients to strengthen relationships.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Alia gave us really great feedback whenever we did practice role-plays, and the information helped me feel more comfortable in having conversations with clients.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

For some reason the pre-work prior to the first session wasn't clear to me (maybe I didn't read an email or something) so I didn't see it until the day before. I also don't think a lot of the pre-work is necessary since we went through the same information basically during the live sessions.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Really love the information given in the courses - especially the handouts for future reference.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefit that I gleaned from the course is that I am more comfortable having difficult conversations with a client by using the conversation frameworks provided in the sessions.

  ### 35. Great Sessions with Alia Pirani

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Desiree A. | Manager, Customer Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Winning by design reintroduced certain processes that are not commonly used but should be. They reminded us to keep it simple and gave great ways to helpp improve communication with our teams.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Antoine Mandy Was a fantastic trainer,he has the sessions fun and interactive, I appreciated his knowledge and background.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I felt the sessions were way more sales-oriented than I imagined. Not everyone on the call was a sales manager. It was clear by the lingo used this was more beneficial for someone who leads a sales team.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I learned a few things about myself, and how I can help my team. You can not change others, so changing the way you approach situations will help the overall situation.

  ### 36. Brilliant (online) Training Experience - lively, super professional and engaging

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The seamless experience - We used SalesHuddles provided by Winning by Design, that featured documentation we now also find in our internal Wiki. The same trainer who recorded the videos performed the Live Training Sessions, so it all felt like one great experience. I also liked the structure of the sessions.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

the time given for exercises in the break-out rooms during the live training sessions was too short for my taste. We usually weren´t finished with the task, when time already was up.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a joint understanding of processes and methods to better understand customer needs. The benefit is that we now have a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities, documentation everybody can turn to in order to find information, which helps to drive process consistency and a more efficient way of working.

  ### 37. Best Ever On-Point Sales Training!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Toni J. | Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

As a startup company, growing sales quickly and effectively is key to our success.
Our account management team brings years of industry sales and account management experience to the table, and I have spent 25 years in sales. One can only imagine how many sales courses and pieces of training that I have suffered through over the years, yes suffered, because they provided minimal relevant impact. Our sessions with Winning By Design are on point. Chris is fantastic and offers critical thinking about streamlining the conversations we are having with customers. And most importantly, his insights are relevant to OUR business model! I leave every session feeling rejuvenated and taking away something of enormous value to place in my sales tool belt.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Sales training that is On point and relevant to our industry, engaging, short interval sessions eliminate the training burn-out and provides out-of-the-box, critical thinking sales conversations.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

That I can't take Chris with me on every sales call! :-)

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a start-up company, maximizing every sales call is critical. Winning by Design teaches our account management team to utilize a more disciplined approach to active listening and skillful questioning to dig deeper into the customer's business model to uncover their real needs and apply impact to solve those needs. This model far surpasses any other sales training courses I have ever experienced! It's on-point!

  ### 38. Director of Customer Success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela A. | Director of Customer Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

The Customer Success certification course helped me refresh key principles and concepts that at crucial when building strategic, long-lasting relationships with our customers and problem-solving. The program provided clear and very comprehensive frameworks for CSMs to drive high-impact and continuous growth at every stage of a customer's journey through a more assertive communication

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Alia, our program facilitator was fantastic! She introduced the group key concepts in a well-structured and interactive way. Her high energy and amazing personality made the group to be fully engaged session after session and invited every participant to put our critical thinking skills forward to approach every new topic. The materials she used and the online course were great and easy to digest.
It's definitely a course that every CSM who wants to be ahead of the game should take, highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I can't find something I did not like. I only wish I could have had more members on my team participating in it, especially during the group discussions/dynamics where concepts and learnings were put in practice using relatable scenarios.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking this course really helped me to identify great opportunities to implement best practices that will significantly improve as a company the way we handle critical events and milestones in the customer's lifecycle.

In our role, communication is important, however practicing clear, well-structured, and intensional interactions applying the ACE/SPICED/TALKER methods is really the key to success! My goal is to foster and implement processes based on these learnings to have a more empowered and assertive CS team.

  ### 39. Great course content and very knowledgeable and friendly teacher!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chiara R. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2020

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

I always love WBD courses, they are interactive and sometimes even put you on the spot but I find it is the best way to actually push me to try something I wouldn't normally do.
Selena was a great instructor during the CS session. It was great to refresh some sales practice knowledge and learn new ways of how my input can impact my client's decisions and future success.
Thank you Selena!

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I like how interactive it is and the homework afterwards.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Excel sheet could be improved, maybe a specific sheet for each session to make it easier to navigate.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Strengthened my ACE and will try and follow the SPICED method during my calls to avoid repeating too many irrelevant questions and get to the core of their pain

  ### 40. What a wonder training course that was super useful.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Nothing - it was really good content and I think it covered everything that I hoped it would.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping structure conversations that are specific to Customer success and the commercial conversations that we need to have with our customers. the content was written from a Customer success prospective and was perfect for our teams challanges

  ### 41. Antoine Mandy was the best instructor ever!

I loved how interactive the training was, didn't feel like 2 hours at all and Antoine was very nice and I felt comfortable talking to him, and answering questions

If I had to think of one, I wish there were two 5 minute breaks.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Do it! Feel like I gained from it

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping with onboarding by going over essential training needs. The training was beneficial, very interactive and fun!

  ### 43. Best Sales Training I've Had - CSM Training w/ Alia

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan S. | Customer Success Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

It's interactive, dynamic, and has great staff that frames things in a way that is easy to digest.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

The only thing I dislike is that WBD was a bit similar to previous courses I'd taken, but that's no fault of theirs.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Be prepared to participate.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've taken a number of sales courses. They begin to bleed together, but WBD is the most interactive and multi-media approach I've seen, which enhances interest.

  ### 44. Winning by Design: Making everything make sense

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christen P. | S, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

My team was introduced to WbD to activate our sales organization in a startup environment. All of the sales/account reps have less than 6 months of experience with the company but also have incredibly lofty revenue goals.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Winning by Design not only illuminated crucial blind spots in my sales process, but also articulated much of what I had managed to develop through experience (and Miller Heiman) but couldn't refine or grow without the language to approach the skills & steps that combine to make a perpetually improving sales professional.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

It was unclear if the assignments were mandatory so after the first couple of sessions, I didn't bother, but it would have been helpful to either review the assignments at the top of the class or not bother including them. However, this is a reach in terms of an aspect I didn't like - I didn't find any of the course dislikeable.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Selling to highly educated customers - often committees of highly educated people - who serve researcher customers, which can make the diagnosis and everything that follows very difficult, thus a low close-win rate. The structured ACE and SPICED methods allow me to uncover customer pains quicker and clearer, which eases the sales process (potentially - just finished QWbD last week) to increase my close-win rate and eventually my renewal & upsell/cross-sell rates.

  ### 45. Amazing training experience!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yoan M. | Sales Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The sessions are short and focus on essential information. The instructor uses different types of content and involves everyone which makes every session lively and useful

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I would have needed more time during the breakout room sessions to carry out the role plays.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Have it a try!

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Winning by Design is helping me boost my selling skills by giving me some precious tips and methods that I will be able to apply in my daily work. These tools help me be perform well and be more efficient.

  ### 46. Winning by Design - 1st Class Sales Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy P. | Member, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Easy to incorporate right away, the live training were always very interactive. Antoine is an effective, engaging trainer.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

A lot of information in a short amount of time while still getting your job done - Sell, Sell Sell!

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Leave enough time to complete the work before the live training

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating ways to get better in sales

  ### 47. Clever CSM frameworks, engaging trainer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The most helpful part of Winning By Design was how to set up customers to have better discussions about what they need to see the value. The joint impact plan discussion was the part I'll be able to use most quickly.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

The least helpful part of Winning by Design was that some modules felt like they were designed for a pure pre-sales team but then were awkwardly translated for CSM execution.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Winning by Design is helping the Armis Customer Success team build repeatable processes, and teaching the CSM team the frameworks necessary to execute these processes.

  ### 48. Melissa Huggett was awesome!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick R. | Sales Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Selling for Impact training

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Pace, engagement, knowledge, interaction, personality - She is the perfect hype girl

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I liked everything about the program. No dislikes.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This course teaches account executives the key skills they need to bring more impact to their customers. The modules show AEs how to have more effective conversations, use best practices in discovery and demo, and how to orchestrate late-stage conversations to close. This course is often used as part of the onboarding program for sales reps who are new, but it’s also great for reps who want to hone their technique.

  ### 49. Outstanding Course

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert D. | Senior Account Executive/Director of Space Transportation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

I am new to sales, and the course helped give me a framework from which to build my sales persona.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The weekly 2-hour zoom meetings were beneficial. I was able to collaborate with other students and learn from them and their experiences.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

The biggest dislike for the course would have to be the exam at the end.
1. there is no way to go back after you select an answer and move on to the next (at least I didn't see a way if there was one)
2. you are unable to double-check your answers before submitting the test
3. On the last question, I realized I had put the responses in the wrong boxes, but I couldn't go back and rearrange them.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

This was an excellent course for beginners, and a good refresher for experienced sales people.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Winning by Design has helped me better understand how to structure a call by being prepared and focused. Additionally, the time management techniques were very helpful

  ### 50. Winning by Design Prospecting Certification Course

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivy L. | Manager of Sales Development, Community Verification, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

My organization has all new hires in sales roles earn a Winning by Design Certification. I was enrolled in the prospecting course with Antoine Mandy. I have taken similar courses before, but never with WbD. My role is a Sales Development Manager and the WbD concepts are heavily leveraged across my company, so my largest goal was to have a strong understanding of the concepts to coach more effectively in a way the SDR team is familiar with. I certainly left the course with the ability to do just that.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I found the course effective for a few reasons: 1. Accountability - you have to complete the modules before attending the sessions. With so much going on at the point of onboarding, if it wasn't a requirement, it would have been difficult for me to prioritize. 2. Engagement- there is no hiding in the course, Antoine will (and should) call on everyone. This allows the group to hear from a broad range of perspectives from sales reps of all tenures & across all industries. 3. Storytelling- Antoine did a great job of teaching and enforcing the concepts with examples everyone could relate to. This helped me better retain the information. I would also imagine this would be crucial for someone entering the course with no sales experience.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Although I found it valuable being in a course that had external facing sales reps, I think it would have also been valuable for me personally to have another manager in the course to talk through application across a team. This could have just been due to the type of certification my Company had enrolled me in.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem my organization is solving for is coaching inconsistency across departments/roles. I have been at other organizations where certain roles have standardized sales techniques, but unless the broader sales organization is bought in, buy-in is a challenge.
