"Vevox has all the features for engagement!"

What do you like best about Vevox?

Vevox is a tool that not only supports with engagement, but has features that one can utilize for a multitude of purposes. Quizzing, anonymous feedback, inspiring conversations, polling. It is a tool that allows users to be engaged and be inclusive - all at the tip of your fingers. I have used Vevox countless times in preparation for a virtual event of all types - informational sessions, trivia sessions, online quizzing, data gathering etc. The Vevox PPT plug-in was a game changer and made life a lot easier to work directly from PPT versus having to create everything from the dashboard and present from browser - super easy to download. It makes presenting and editing while presenting very simple and fluid. I have an internal team that supports the app, as well as externally directly from Vevox available should arise. What do you dislike about Vevox?

I do not have any negative experiences utilizing Vevox. The only thing that I may mention is potential confusion on connecting the PPT plug in to an actual session - navigating to generate an authentication code, but if a user can put in their email, it connects via SSO. "Engaging, Anxiety-Free Classes with Seamless Quiz Integration"

What do you like best about Vevox?

I appreciate being able to create interactive classes and how seamlessly the quizzes are integrated into the PowerPoints. My students are impressed by the way the correct answer is displayed. I also value that the platform is anonymous, not time-based, and doesn't highlight wrong answers with a red light. This really helps reduce students' anxiety and makes them feel more comfortable participating. I enjoy the variety of quizzes available—not just multiple choice, but also options like pinning on images or guessing a number. It is very easy to impement and reuse in following years. I also love that I can collect data about participation and identify muddy points during the class. The customer support is amazing, the Vevox team has alwways solved my issues and taken into consideration my feedback. I use in on all my classes in my three courses at DTU. What do you dislike about Vevox?

The integration with PowerPoint occasionally glitches, especially when the titles are a bit long. It also takes some time to teach students the difference between quizzes and surveys, but overall, the effort is worthwhile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?

I teach in very large classes (>150 students) where interaction with the teacher is complicated and keeping the focus in the class can be a challenge. Vevox is very easy to implement as every student carries phone, computer or both, and they get to chat with their colleagues about which answer they submit. What do you like best about Vevox?

Vevox is a great tool to enhance interactivity and engagement for students in higher education. It can be integrated with Canvas PowerPoint, MS Teams and Zoom. I like the AI feature within the Quiz which can generate questions for you on a topic or an uploaded document. I am excited to trial the new the Spin the wheel activity. So far I have found:

- the person who created the question has to share their screen to be able to display the answers to the rest of the audience

What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?

Vevox has made meetings and events much more interactive and enjoyable for me. Rather than sitting through lengthy, one-sided sessions, I’ve found that it encourages engaging discussions by using live quizzes and polls. Its seamless integration with Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint makes setup straightforward and saves a significant amount of time. Personally, I’ve found it especially helpful during hackathons, festivals, and technical meetings, as it keeps everyone involved, adds energy to the sessions, and provides instant, detailed reports from the quizzes. "Interactive, focused and easy"

What do you like best about Vevox?

I like the variety of options we can use in teaching or engagements with varying group sizes to gain immediate, focused and easy to understand data in real time. I used it recently with a class of 250 students in a Tertiary education space and was able to not only gain immediate input from multiple people, but also use the easily displayed input to encourage critical discussion on the topic we were covering (which was on health systems in New Zealand). What do you dislike about Vevox?

I would like to see a feature that gamifies the input - there are times when gaining the data from tertiary students also requires a small amount of energy and enthusiasm. What do you like best about Vevox?

I like that it's particularly easy to use, and it's particularly easy to teach, which is very important. I appreciate that there's very little time needed for setting it up and using it with people in real time. It takes a very short amount of time to create a session or a poll.
