**What do you like best about Vagaro?**

It makes daily operations much smoother by combining:

Online booking 24/7, so clients can schedule anytime without calling
Automated reminders, which help reduce no-shows
Integrated payments & POS, making checkout quick and professional
Client management (CRM), where you can track history, notes, and preferences
Marketing tools, like email/text campaigns and promotions

Overall, it saves time, keeps the schedule organized, and enhances the client experience—which is key for growing and maintaining a successful aesthetic practice like yours.

**What do you dislike about Vagaro?**

Extra fees add up – Many features (text marketing, forms, add-ons) require additional paid upgrades, which can become expensive over time.
User interface can feel cluttered – There are so many features that sometimes it’s not very intuitive, especially for new staff.
Limited customization – Booking pages and forms don’t always allow full branding or flexibility for a medspa’s specific needs.
Customer support can be inconsistent – Response times and quality of help may vary.
Reporting limitations – Some reports are not as detailed or customizable as you might want for tracking performance or revenue.

I like that it’s live person to help when I call. One time, I had a credit card processing question where a client didn’t show for her appt and I want to charge her card on file. The first rep wasn’t able to articulate and assist. The manager stepped in and was able to articulate the limitation of the system and advised a solution to my issue and offer additional tips

**What do you dislike about Vagaro?**

I don’t like that customers have to tap and pay each time after their service. When it was Schedulicity, the system allowed a bypass of the card tap

**What do you like best about Vagaro?**

I love that after spending a lot of time organizing my inventory (making sure it's correct and up to date) that when I create a PO and mark it as received, the inventory item quantities update as well. This is how it's supposed to work!

**What do you dislike about Vagaro?**

That I have to always make sure I hit "Refresh" to update the screen. I feel like since it's an online platform that it should be able to update in real time, but the tech behind that is not my forte so maybe I'm wrong.

**What problems is Vagaro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's keeping up with the inventory, saving me at least an hour or two per week when I need to order more stock. It does a lot more than that, but the inventory issue was my nightmare for too long, so I really appreciate that I have found what I need in a program I'm already using to sell, order and keep track of that inventory.

**What do you like best about Vagaro?**

Vagaro has been a game-changer for my alterations business and my handmade crafts shop. The appointment calendar makes scheduling and staying organized effortless, and having my website connected in the same place keeps everything looking professional and easy for clients to use. I also love being able to offer custom-ordered handmade items through the online store—customers can browse, request, and order without the back-and-forth.

The ability to issue invoices and accept payments easily, all in one platform, has been huge—it’s streamlined my workflow, and it’s saved me over $1,000 over the past year. If you need booking, a website, online selling, and invoicing/payments all in one place, I highly recommend Vagaro!

**What do you like best about Vagaro?**

The software is super user-friendly and gives you a lot of flexibility to build exactly what you need for your business. It’s not overly expensive pricing really depends on the add-ons you choose, which I like because you’re not forced to pay for features you won’t use. You can start simple, work with what fits your operation, and add tools as you grow. Nothing feels unnecessary or overcomplicated, which is huge when you’re running a business and need things to just work. Overall, it’s been a solid investment and a great platform for scheduling, payments, and client management.

**What do you dislike about Vagaro?**

One small downside is the learning curve at the beginning, especially when you’re figuring out how everything looks and functions from the client’s side. That said, this feels more like part of the setup and learning process rather than an issue with the software itself. Once you get familiar with it, everything runs smoothly.

**What problems is Vagaro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One concern I’ve had is receiving messages that appear to come from Vagaro representatives directly through the software’s business messaging system. When I asked about this, even someone training me on the platform wasn’t fully aware of how those messages are generated. It made me pause and double-check legitimacy, simply from a security and scam-prevention standpoint.
That said, this seems more related to communication clarity than the software’s actual functionality. With better transparency around official messaging and reps, this would be easily resolved. Overall, Vagaro is still a strong platform it just requires some initial learning and due diligence on the business owner’s end.

I like all the features included in vagaro. The pos system, the forms, especially marketting. the daily deals and advertising your business on vagaro's website/app

**What do you dislike about Vagaro?**

1.when i was looking to link quickbooks with vagaro i was under the impression that I would get quickbooks through vagaro and not have to already had have QuickBooks.
 2.Having to choose between capturing credit card or deposits. we should be able to assign deposits to certain services and also capture a credit card. 
3. Being able to access checkout and charge like square, because sometimes i do events where i dont have to make a client portall
4. being able to send invoices like paypal, also for events where i'm hired out and i don't have a specific service that i charge for.

**What problems is Vagaro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel like it makes my life simpler and it's really organized. i like that they made a 1099 for me.

QuickBooks has its own subscription model and is not included in Vagaro’s integration service. You can always export your reports without needing to integrate with QuickBooks through the Reports section of the app. 

We understand how important it is to protect your time and schedule. Capturing a credit card helps safeguard against no-shows and cancellations, allowing you to manually charge the card after the appointment window. Taking a deposit on the other hand, allows you require either a flat amount or a percentage upfront to secure the time slot, and it still captures the customer’s credit card details.

Regarding accessing checkout without creating a client portal, as well as sending invoices without attaching it to a service, we’ve gone ahead and passed your notes along to the team to look into. Thank you for sharing these insights!

**What do you like best about Vagaro?**

It is easy to set up services and classes, and then add them to the calendar. I've been able to get my clients used to it fairly quickly. I feel they did a good job transitioning the Schedulicity people over. They were at a disadvantage because I was really happy with Schedulicity, but they made me a believer that Vagaro could meet my needs.

**What do you dislike about Vagaro?**

The only thing I really miss is the ability to send messages easily from the classes. I would rather there be a bucket for attendees instead of having to edit the class to see the roster. In Schedulicity, I could open the class, view the roster, and then send the group content they need to know for class. That feature was something I used quite often, and it was included in my monthly fee. Those features cost extra in Vagaro, so it requires more manual work. At this time, it is cost-prohibitive to add those extra expenses. Hopefully, one option will present itself to make it work more easily.

**What problems is Vagaro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vagaro allows people to find me and book a service or class without me having to be part of the process. I like that there is a public listing that I can share with my clients without having to have a website. In the future, I am considering adding a website.

What I dislike about Vagaro:
What I dislike most is paying a monthly subscription to drive clients to my website, only for those clients to then be shown other salons in my area that are also paying for the same platform. I appreciate the features Vagaro offers, but this creates a frustrating experience for business owners trying to build their own brand and customer base. In the future, this may lead me to consider other platforms, such as GoHighLevel, that offer a more personalized experience without requiring me to build a separate website.

**What do you like best about Vagaro?**

very user friendly. covers all my needs for my business. very few glitches

**What do you dislike about Vagaro?**

The calendar layout. It is very hard to distinguish between the lines, especially if you're looking at a week view. It would be great to have a thick line (Horizontal) for the each hour line mark, slightly thinner for 30 minute line mark and then the thin for 15 min line mark. Then have the days of the week slightly different. ie: Monday lighter, Tuesday shaded slightly, Wednesday lighter, etc. Also it would be nice when looking at 2 or more employee calendars that there would be and thick solid line (Vertical) between the week view calendars, so that you can see when one employees week ends and the other begins. it all runs into each other. ie: when trying to schedule a couples appt with 2 employees, is very hard to distinguish between (let's) Fridays schedule for both. It all just blends into each other.
