"Launched our Small Business into the Future"

What do you like best about Trainual?

I LOVE that this is soooo easy to document processes, policies and procedures. Its a fun interactive way for all employees to learn according to the roles and topics the leadership has assigned to them. Coming from a small business who did not have an SOP or anything documented on how to or why we do things, Trainual is a Godsend. We are a 17 year old HVAC company and we started last week and we're already 1/3 of the way through. Implementing Trainual amongst our staff has been an easy pressure relieving task for many. We log in once a day and do atleast one topic or process. Later we plan to get together review and finalize each topic as they become available from the departments that own them. Goal is to have our "Playbook" done by January 1st, 2024. This platform is where you want to be if you are documenting on word or google docs level up with Trainual. What do you dislike about Trainual?

It's a double-edged sword. There are a lot of capabilities, but for an older crowd who might not be as tech-savvy the plug-ins and other applications that are required to create content might be much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?

We could never hold people accountable for mistakes because they were not trained and the saying, "I told you/them..." does not work in a professional environment. What do you like best about Trainual?

Trainual has implemented several tools and data components that have streamlined employee onboarding and tracking. First off, Training Paths have simplified content assignment. With a custom template, I know each employee is getting access to the correct content, in the order it was designed for. What do you dislike about Trainual?

Sometimes there are updates that I wasn't aware of, requiring me to figure out its implementation on my own. Trainual University is a helpful too, but it seems like some updates slip through the cracks on guiding users on how to best use them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Trainual makes my life easier"

What do you like best about Trainual?

Trainual allows me to create systems, and it is systems that make everything easier. The options within Trainual allow me to make it "my own" by creating groups and subjects and organizing the content.

One of the best parts is that our team "bought in" to using it and the users love it! Easy to find the information and training they are using it for. Someone on the team is in the system daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

Once I had the system designed and populated there have been no real downsides. The work has to go in on the front end learning the system and some trial and error on setting it up the way you ultimately want it to work and your purpose for using it in the first place. That's true of any new system and Trainual isn't immune to it. The training videos do make the process easier as well as the direct support I received from the support group. What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?

Repetitive questions are now answered with, "If you look at Trainual you'll find what you're looking for, and it has more detail than what I can give you here."

Onboarding no longer requires face to face training on company policy and systems. Here's one of best parts: I can require people to complete certain parts or they continue to be reminded that they haven't completed all the requirements. That's really important for Industry and Company compliance. I know who has completed which parts and who has not.

Training now includes some self directed training opportunities while other training is structured with a specific sequence required: you must complete A before you go to B. This is a great benefit to me because certain content must be learned in a sequence while other content can be completely self directed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really appreciate how Trainual saves time by reducing the need for in-person training. Staff can self-train using clear information on systems and processes, ensuring consistency and saving time on onboarding and new processes. I value Trainual's structured playbooks, step-by-step process documentation, and onboarding paths the most. They make it easy for staff to self-train, ensure consistency, and reduce the need for in-person training. Additionally, the initial setup was straightforward and easy to follow. I use Trainual for onboarding new employees, HR policies and procedures, and as a 'wiki' for company operations. Trainual makes our content more digestible and easier to find, unlike our previous system, WorkRamp. The AI features are great, especially for content creation, enhancing confidence in finding information. I also like the 'rewrite' features, which allow me to adjust the writing style without altering the content. What do you like best about Trainual?

I love that Trainual acts as an LMS in many ways. It's great for creating meaningful trainings and allows people to complete training on their own time. I appreciate that it serves as a great resource to ensure everyone stays on the same page. The ability to share via video and pictures, and break up content so it's not just long pages of manuals, makes it engaging. I think it’s pretty limiting in the fact that participants can’t upload videos as a test response from their phone or photo library. "Streamlines Training, But Searchability Needs Work"

What do you like best about Trainual?

I like that it's easy to add content to Trainual. It's simple to add PDFs, links, GIFs, and spreadsheets, which makes it very easy to add the content we need. I also appreciate the visual appearance of the platform. Often we're adding PDFs for individuals to access easily, and they can download them without hassle. It's great to be able to update or trade them out if something changes. The links help us share videos and other resources with clients and candidates in one convenient spot. What do you dislike about Trainual?

I think one of the biggest hurdles is finding information once it's in there. I've been working in it for almost four years now, and I still struggle with where information is kept. So I think there could be an easier way to see the information and easier ways to find the information. Maybe tabs at the top that's breaking down each section, more easily accessible and always visible. "Effortless Training with Step-by-Step Guides"

What do you like best about Trainual?

One thing I've liked about Trainual is that even though we've been using it for about a year with only one person going through it due to low turnover, it's convenient to go in and edit on a weekly basis if needed, making it fool-proof. I appreciate being able to reconfigure things, add some funny pictures to make the content more entertaining. It's been pretty easy to use, even for someone like me who's not very tech-savvy. I also find the step-by-step setup is straightforward and helps make procedures clear. Having the capability to add YouTube links is handy, as it lets our techs access short videos for quick learning in the field. We've been able to put codes in there that pertain to our work, and it's great for providing customers with reasons for pricing while ensuring techs are certified and trained.
