As the development team at Brandcast continues to update their software, the support team does their best to stay ahead of their users in understanding and explaining how things work, what improvements are most helpful, and what approaches are most effective. Questions on their live-chat window are quickly answered, and difficult problems are followed up with personal emails and discussions.User-input and feature requests are also carefully and genuinely considered. The Brandcast app itself is an excellent tool that anyone can use to bring their message to the web. Dynamic web pages are made possible with simple tools and robust support. Page and site management are also easy to navigate. On top of all of this, the app itself continues to improve as the developers push out new and requested features. With Brandcast, our team has been able to create a wide variety of websites and pages for our clients as well as for our own company. **What do you dislike about Time Sites?** Power features lay just outside the grasp of users familiar with web design and development. The ability to manage and use custom CSS ids and classes doesn't exist at the moment, so site-wide formatting can be quite tedious. Hopefully, as features like this are suggested to and considered by the development team, tools like this will soon become available. File-management (graphics, icons, etc.) can be challenging as well since there is no ability to create or reference folders; supporting files are uploaded into a single folder and cannot be organized outside of file-type or name. **Recommendations to others considering Time Sites:** Web design is about content, and Brandcast is great at helping anyone share that content. My recommendation is to play around with the software and discover YOUR best way to use it. With your own experiences in place, you'll feel more confident in discovering new ways to use the tool. From there, you're on your way! **What problems is Time Sites solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quick and effective site creation is easily realized with Brandcast. The ability to have a site designed and published in a matter of moments has helped our team tremendously. Edits to existing sites are simple to implement, and the support team at Brandcast are readily available to help with larger roadblocks. ### 2. We've been able to build really intriguing websites with few resources and time constraints than with something like Wordpress. **What do you dislike about Time Sites?** There is a definite learning curve. Not having prebuilt modules and widgets sometimes makes things tedious. Sometimes modules simply stop working and I have to contact the support team to get them working again because it's a back-end glitch. It's always resolved but can't say that I've had an issue like that on other websites. **What problems is Time Sites solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quickly building whole websites is a great resource. Being able to collaborate and share with other teams is a great benefit. Brandcast has made it easy for our two-person shop to complete projects that five years ago would have required a ten-man army and six months. The benefits of getting projects moving and delighting our clients can't be overstated. ### 3. It also allows us to host all our microsites in one central place and ensure consistency with our branded templates across our global offices. The ease of use means even those without HTML/CSS and CMS experience can create a website that looks professional. **What do you dislike about Time Sites?** There are a lot of editing options which sometimes can be hard to work out how to use - although there are plenty of help guides and the team is always on hand to offer support. **What problems is Time Sites solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quick mobile responsive websites that are brand consistent and compliant, and can be made by any member of the team. ### 4. Whenever I have a question the answer comes as soon as possible (given the fact we work in different time zones). All in all great experience. **What do you dislike about Time Sites?** There is a problem I found - when you open more then one site to work on, the platform crashes and needs to be refreshed. Thankfully all changes are saved, but sometimes some things disappear. That slows down the work and can be very inconvenient. Also sometimes the platform doesn't load at all. **What problems is Time Sites solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use it to help my team for the real estate deals they make. It comes in handy when you want to impress a client who is fed up with PowerPoint presentations ;) ### 5. I have been able to create beautiful, customized websites more elaborate than I ever could have imagined having no previous web design experience. **What do you dislike about Time Sites?** Some of the features are a bit more advanced than my skill level and can take a bit of time to figure out, but the support team is always happy to assist when needed andIi always end up figuring it out! **Recommendations to others considering Time Sites:** I recommend taking the time to explore all the features and helpful videos. It may be overwhelming to some to dive in headfirst, but there are plenty of ways to ease in and try more advanced features over time. **What problems is Time Sites solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have utilized Brandcast to make beautiful property websites that help get my listings in front of interested parties. In the commercial real estate industry, things are often slow to evolve, and anything you can do to stand out makes a huge difference. ### 6. However, they give awesome online tutorials, and workshop. The best thing is, when you are stuck, there are experts instantly offer you help or even fix the probelm for you! Unlike WordPress, they only offer help on a certain templates. **What problems is Time Sites solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was struggling with how to build an interactive photo gallery however, they helped me by creating a customized gallery template for me, so I don't need to build it from scratch. ### 8. At first it may look intimidating to use brandcast but once you start and play around and watch the tutorial videos available, you can absolutely create a basic and functional website with your own customized branding in no time:) **What do you dislike about Time Sites?** Some of the features are not very intuitive and there may be more then one way of doing something. It can sometimes become hard to know if doing one thing one way is the right way. I've used Wordpress, Wix and others and found myself struggling to get things lined up the way I wanted them. There are hacks in any platform, but Brandcast makes it easy! **What do you dislike about Time Sites?** With any web building tool there is going to be a learning curve. Most things in Brandcast are intuitive, but some things are not. The support is good and I believe that if you are persistent then you will get where you want to go and never look back. **What problems is Time Sites solving and how is that benefiting you?** The flexibility and speed at which we can design and deploy responsive websites is unprecedented.
