TalentLMS is affordable, easy to use and includes all the features needed to create a great training experience. The support team is responsive and easy to work with.

Sometimes it can take a little while for video files to upload and process. I've noticed that they're sometimes visible in classic view before they become clickable in the newer UI.

I honestly don't have any major dislikes about TalentLMS, but there are a few features that could make things even easier if they were added or adjusted.

TalentLMS is easy to use for both administrators and learners. Compared to the previous LMS we were using, TalentLMS looks and feels more modern. The new interface is great, and they are always releasing new features. The customer support team is quick in responding to emails.

The new interface has a few bugs, but their product team has quickly fixed these.

As a not for profit the value for money is amazing. We train all of our staff through this platform and manager in person compliance training too. 

Its easy to use for HR staff and IT can automate the majority of the work.

I wish the reporting would be a easier to delegate to managers. We have different sites and departments that would like to see their completion rates. 

I could probably figure this out, it maybe my fault with implementation. It wasn't in our scope when we planned.

We had a cost and customisation problem that disappeared with TalentLMS.

It's a fairly intuitive interface that allows me to use it as an administrator (at a basic level) without much complication or time required.

Canned presentations do not include regulatory safety training.  Tracking Live Training sessions still seems a bit clunky.

Primarily used for safety training across the organization I manage.  This includes assigning training and automatically reassigning re-occurring training.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

TalentLMS has a lot of really great features at a low price point. From the TalentCraft AI functionalities, through to the plethora of learning activities and modules, I've been really impressed with just how much TalentLMS packs into one platform. Implementation was very easy and quick, Salesforce integration was a bonus, and we also appreciated the visible pricing on the website. Bonus points too that it's a very inexpensive product, and allows for 12 month terms.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

As it's at a very low price point, functionality is not as fleshed out as other LMSes - it's comprehensive in course creation but fairly basic in other areas. We couldn't easily access reporting for some reason, as an example, which was a shame and could have been a really great feature for us to start reporting revenue impact of our learning to the business. The Salesforce functionality, whereas appreciated, was also fairly lacking - it would have been great to have TalentLMS integrated alongside opportunities with AI recommended courses and content for our sellers.

It solved our need for a platform to hold onboarding and ongoing trainings.

It is easy to insert different types of content (native or integrated), in the preferred order. Access to the platform is simple and the discussion forums are a very useful tool for exchanging ideas and opinions.

I would prefer to have the possibility of linking the contents, which are gradually unlocked automatically, according to rules determined by the instructor.

One problem we have is the distance between me and the people I train. Talent helps me make training continuous and constant over time, easily uploading content, and asking for feedback through the different possibilities provided (a written text, an audio, a quiz...)

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

What I like about the TalentLMS platform is how easy it is to use. For me, as a first-time LMS user with no background in managing an LMS platform, the implementation was easy and smooth. The features for uploading various contents in different formats were really good. The custom report function was also helpful as it is not complicated at all, plus the availability of customization to brand it is also available which is great.

The customer support is always helpful. They are ready to sort things out when you face some challenges.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

There are limitations to some features such as doing mass actions on assigning customized certificates to all courses in the library, mass update of role to courses (e.g. instructor to learner). Also, the summing up of training hours is not possible as the training hours in the report is generated by text, e.g.31m 55s. So I have to put a formula to sum up the total training hours.

It addressed our need to host our in-house e-learning module to reach as many employees as possible regardless of location.

Gamification - As an L&D Manager who administers courses to all employees in my organization via. TalentLMS, I've noticed teams are motivated by Gamification of learning. The daily leaderboard keeps them active on the platform, ensures they go through courses in time & attempt assessments with seriousness (to achieve 100% results).

Training Matrix - this helps me a lot as a manager to create reports and present a holistic view of it to the management.

Infographics - Perfect for a bird's eye view for employees (users)

Reports - Super helpful for weekly and monthly report generation (users, courses etc.)

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

As an organization we've subscribed to 1-year of TalentLibrary access. 
If it were available (some part of it, as in few courses every month) for free, it would have benefitted small (yet growing) companies like us in the Indian sub-continent.

**What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TalentLMS has made training, learning & development of employees in our organization easier. Instructor-led classroom sessions cannot be conducted for 500 employees at a time. But courses on TalentLMS help with asynchronous learning of employees well, with minimal Instructor intervention.

TalentLMS has made learning enjoyable which earlier used to be boring. Employees are demostrating greater interest and motivation towards professional development.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

The pricing for the entry level product is fair for what the service offers—there is actually a good bit of useful functionality IF you can wade through their documentation. Our experience is that there's actually a lot more possible in the platform than is apparent at first.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

The UX is not very good and it's built on old and out of date technology that requires users to adjust their browser settings for the learning experience to works as expected. Users do not like to turn on "cross-browser tracking" but it's basically a requirement to function correctly. There are also arbitrary file size limits which make it impossible to host larger SCORM / XAPI files. Fortunately, the company was kind enough to increase my limits after some escalation.

The service is an affordable though limited learning management system. It's allowed us to launch an online education firm and validate our first set of courses.

Conducting workplace training has been a breeze since we moved to TalentLMS. It allows easy uploads from a variety of formats.

The tabs for additional documents when viewing training slides may not be obvious to the user. Definitely benefit from making it more prominent.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

LMS provides user-friendly interface, which makes  it easy to use for all levels of user. We particularly like that it allows for quick course creation, user registration, and content upload. Love the talent craft for creating courses!

As well as create our own content, we can SCORM through training courses from other providers.  

Its very forgiving…if you have not set things up quite right, this is easy to correct and adjust.

It includes analytics and reporting tools that help track learner progress, exam performance, and more.  We love the training matrix,  we can see instantly where the training needs/gaps are.

TalentLMS offers strong customer support through various channels including email, phone, and live chat. The onboarding specialist who was allocated to us is first class, he really knows this system.  We have had very positive interaction with your live chat service too.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

We wish we could register time spent for practical “on the job” training.

Simple access to training for all.  It ensures all saff are up to date with their training.  We can very quicky demonstrate that training has been completed for the purporses of appraisals, audits, identifying skills gaps etc.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

Price is definitely a major plus for Talent LMS, it is significantly cheaper than other LMS offerings.  Talent LMS is relatively easy to administer once you get the hang of how things are organized in Talent LMS.  Using the Groups, Branches, and Categories features of Talent LMS allows you to organize content in a variety of useful ways.  The Talent LMS support group and the dedicated account manager are very helpful and very attentive, even with a significant time difference between the US and Israel (where the Talent team is located).  The ability to customize the User Interface with our corporate branding is also very advantageous.  Implementing Talent was not the hardest thing I have ever undertaken, but like anything new, there was a little bit of a learning curve to deal with in order to get the system setup and organized in the way that suited our particular implementation best.  I use the platform everyday and now feel very confident in the administration of the system.  We now have 300 internal, customer, and partner personnel on the portal using it on a daily basis, taking advantage of the 75 courses currently available.  Overall we are happy with ur decision to go with Talent LMS.  Integration with Stripe for individual Subscription Payment was very easy to set up and implement, and we are working on the integration with Salesforce, and that is a little more complex but not that difficult, the integration guide is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

Talent LMS does have some downsides, especially in the area of reporting.  the reporting capabilities need to be enhanced in a variety of ways.  They have a number of good, out-of-the-box reports, but these reports cannot be edited or modified in any way.  The custom reporting capabilityfocuses purely on students or courses.  There is no ability to report on learning paths or leanring tracks.  Not all fields of information in the system are available to be used in reporting, which causes you to have recreate certain types of information as a custom field so that you can add it to a report, which is a duplication of effort.  Rule writing is limited in Talent LMS reporting, offering a fixed, finite number of report conditions that can be used to generate a report, instead of allowing the user to create custom conditions for their report.

Talent is very much locked into the traditional Student/Course paradigm of training, and need to expnd the capabilities of the system to be more flexible and embrace the micro-learning paradigm where learning tracks/paths can be defined, tracked and reported.

TalentLMS has been very helpful in our organization for its ability to be customized to our needs. I also appreciate the quick customer support I receive through the Help function. I did anticipate a bit more assistance on training when we first got started but overall, most of the LMS is easy to use and to figure out through the helpful knowledge base and again, asking for assistance when needed. I know our organization is different from others they have worked with before so I appreciate their ability to also pivot for us.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

There are a few features that I think could be touched up on or added. For instance, we would like to use the discussions function but there is currently no filtering or review system and with hundreds of learners using our courses, it seems like it would be unsafe to use until they can give us this feature. Our program does a mixture of in-person training courses and online courses. When we do the webinars, some folks attend live and some end up watching the session as an uploaded video. Due to this, I have to manually "push" folks through the video recording portion of these courses if they attended live which can be quite tedious - I wish that they had a feature with the import functionality to push users up to a certain point in a course without a full completion - which I think is the only functionality for import that would come close to this. I did recommend it to the tech team as a feature we would really like. My only other gripe is with the custom reports not always seeming to go out to the people I have assigned for it to automatically send to after generated.

Before we had TalentLMS, I would have to manually create every single certificate that is given to someone who completes our trainings, as well as having to track most data completely manually. With TalentLMS, a lot of this has become automated which has saved me time on creating certificates so that I can attend to more pressing issues and duties. We plan to expand our use of the platform in the future for other parts of our organization that may benefit from using the platform.

- I use this product every day, it moved our training from Google Docs to formalized learning pathways.

- Extremely affordable per user costs, easy to justify scaling with the company. All of the competitors we evaluated were thousands of dollars more expensive per year for far less users.

- Includes most features of the "big name" LMS customers, including the ability to create multiple distinct portals depending on your plan level.

- Instant implementation is possible after sign-up - the only thing we had to do was connect our custom domain and SSO.

- I appreciate the ability to control our subscription without needing to reach out to anyone.

- Customer service can take a long time to respond (note I am on currently a Basic plan, so I cannot speak to the Live Chat/Phone support).

- The interface is not the most intuitive at first.

I love the fact that you can start with a free account. Having 5 users and 10 courses is enough for piloting the LMS and practicing the amazing features. There is a lot you can do with a subscription that you can't do in the free version, so it is nice to try a little bit at a time. 
It was easy to set up for all the basic features.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

I like how courses can be built, including adding SCORM packages and then customizing from there, but I don't like how basic it looks. It's missing some professional/modern-looking packaging that some other LMS lite authoring tools I've used before.
I don't like that you are not offered a customer success rep until you purchases the biggest package. There is a lot I'd like to have my own rep for in setting up in the middle tier. There is only so much customer support can do. And there is only so much knowledge base scanning I can do to get more done faster.

They have solved the problem of how to mass train and onboard staff members for our company.
We primarily use SCORM packages, so the fact that we can add SCORM and customize the course is great. We've worked with other LMS software that did not allow customization of the course if there was SCORM included. This is a very nice feature.

I like the diversity of the tool. The features of the LMS are exactly what we need in our organization and the price point is perfect. The support is great. If you can't find it within the Help site, you can definitely get the support you need by emailing their support. We've just started to use Talent in my organization but I used it for years in previous companies. I have always had very positive experiences. It's very easy to upload and make content available, there is a number of great ways to output your courses, use gamification and more.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

There have only been a few minor issues. Unable to link to TalentLibrary courses, and some bulk history items but the workarounds are reasonable and the support team has always been extremely helpful.

**Recommendations to others considering TalentLMS:**

I recommend you make use of the trial. Setup users and test it in all capacities and ask as many questions as you can to their team.

We are using Talent to train our company, with just over 2000 employees. Making the platform available in an easy to use way is of utmost importance. We have employees that are on the road, so the option for them to use the app and download content for offline use is of great help.

I love how easy it is to create the type of courseware and learning environment we need for our client work. We create Certification Programs for our clients and I've tried several other LMS systems to accomplish our goals. We need the ability to set up our quizes with messages on each question when answered wrong. TalentLMS does this. We also need full monitoring of our student flow and reminders sent if students don't continue in a timely fashion. We also must monitor progress and intervene when students run into difficulty with the material, TalentLMS handles this very well.

The company is short sited and difficult to work with as an affiliate.

**Recommendations to others considering TalentLMS:**

If you are evaluating LMS systems, make sure to try and use them yourself before you choose. Some look great but are hard to use. Also, make sure the management back end does what you need, some don't send automated notices and Talent does.

I create Certification Programs for my clients. Without a powerful, flexible LMS it would be nearly impossible to get our students certified and working in the field. Because of the ease of use; uploading videos and other assets, we can assemble courses quickly.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

The team at Epignosis have been great to work with over the year that we have been using TalentLMS. Our pricing tier doesn't give us a dedicated customer success manager, so all our support queries are handled by their general support team. Both their frontline and technical support staff have been amazing at helping resolve any questions that have been raised. 

As an LMS, TalentLMS does the job. As an organisation, we didn't know exactly what we wanted and so picked TalentLMS initially on price point from a shortlist of other much more expensive systems that offered similar functionality. We particularly wanted a multi-tenant solution. We don't see ourselves changing in the short term. 

The LMS is super easy to get started. The free option lets you get started and evaluate whether it will work for you, and there is no time limit on this. I also loved the fact that you can just get in and do things - so many vendors insist on demos before they give you access to a system and layer on the hard sell in that process. The team at Epignosis are not like this, they are not in your face at all. Set up your domain and try it, so much more simple and easy. 

In terms of the features of TalentLMS, I particularly like how much customisation you can do with Javascript and CSS. I understand that the TalentLMS+ system that is being developed won't have that same degree of customisation - I understand why, but it will be a real loss for teams like ours that have very specific requirements that are not easily met without writing customisations. Many of the customisations that we have developed ourselves will become redundant as the TalentCraft functionality is extended and will likely be better than we have done. For example, I spent quite some time developing a flip card interaction where the text automatically resizes so it doesn't overflow the card and that is now a standard feature in TalentCraft. To be honest, we would switch tomorrow to the new interface if Epignosis introduced one new feature, the ability to do code highlighting. We have integrated the prism.js code highlighter in our domain and it works perfectly well but because it requires custom Javascript and CSS, it doesn't work in TaentLMS+.

Overall, the system is easy to set up and use. The learner experience is perhaps not as slick as it could be out of the box, but we have addressed that with our customisations. There were some challenges getting SSO set up, it wasn't quite as easy to do as the TalentMS knowledge base suggested - but we got there in the end. Course and user management are fine and it is possible to create custom user types and access permissions to a very fine level of detail. Mechanisms such as groups and branches work, but perhaps could be a bit more slick. We've ended up not using branches for that reason which has gone away from our original multi-tenant brief. Some things that don't work as well as you might hope can be worked around because the integration with Zapier lets you set up your own automations.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

The branches mechanism could be improved. It basically works fine, but the process of manually adding users to branches is a bit painful and switching between branches is ok but not perfect. The real pain for us is that each branch needs its own SSO configuration and login portal. What I would really love to see here would be a single login screen and then using the SSO credentials to send learners automatically to a given branch, for example based on their email address. That would make things so much more slick for those of us offering training to other organisations. I think that I can work around this using Zapier, but using an integration engine to link TalentLMS back to TalentLMS is a bit ridiculous (even through I do that for a few things). 

Something that is really important for us as we are training software developers is to present highlighted code snippets. The page editor in TalentLMS is not great, and the default style for code is just preformatted HTML. It is easy to work around, we inject custom CSS and Javascript from the prism.js library and it works a charm. However, our concern moving forward is that the TalentLMS+ product is not going to support that degree of customisation. So code formatting using prism.js or highlight.js really needs to be incorporated in as standard functionality. 

There are other issues with the editor - pasting from other applications produces really messy html. Even if you "paste as plain text" it doesn't work well. Most people probably won't notice, but I am editing the html to make our other customisations work and am always cleaning things up. Of particular note, there is an issue with pasting images into the UI. If you do this, it embeds the binary file into the text and there are limitations on file size as a result. It is easy to work around, you just need to upload the image file and thn select it from the course files. Some course instructors / authors won't do this as a matter of course.

The product doesn't deal with images and media shared across courses. I would love to see a central library of content (currently it is per course). You can work around the per-course organisation of files if you know html. But what I would love to be able to do is set an image in CSS that then applies across all pages. For example, we have icons that we add into the blockquote style - I need to do each and everyone manually, whereas the whole point of CSS is to do it centrally. Again, it is a simple change and will greatly improve the authoring experience.

Groups in TalentLMS are also a bit clunky. Groups essentially create an overlapping set of users and courses and are the mechanism for applying discounts, creating bundles etc. It's not functionality we use because it isn't just quite right. Ideally, we would want a group to be a way of limiting access to a course. We would have a group for Customer A and a group for Customer B. The courses they have paid for are accessible to them, but no other courses. It's just not set up for that and there is no way to restrict a learner from a course. You can create a paywall to do this, or use voucher codes and so on, but they are just difficult to do well as you end up with a lot of admin to set up and manage, I get that branches is the way to go for what we want, but as already noted that has it's own drawbacks.

At the end of the day, I just don't think that the multi-tenancy features are best in class.

If you want a simple LMS for a relative simple scenario, then you wont really have any real complaints with TalentLMS. But the more complex your situation, the more you need to take advantage of the fre pricing tier to check that it actually does what you want it to do.

The problem we want it to solve is to better tailor education offerings to different customers. It is not quite there for that.

As an administrator and content creator I love the ease of accessibility and implementation as well as the simple workflows that are in place to create and add new content to the courses.
My users are loving using TalentLMS, especially Talent+. Since we switched to TalentLMS our L&D program is stronger and we have been able to integrate learning into the daily routines much more easily. 
As a premium subscriber I am impressed by the dedication of the customer support center and my account manager.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

It is a custom-made LMS for each type of company, as it helps improve communication and remote training. It is effective in reporting and content development like no other since it has easy and suitable tools for different users.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

That they do not offer the talent library in the different packages with the aim of being able to better adapt it to the type of user and that they have removed the possibility of adding unlimited branches.

A great and adaptive tool for each service provider.

Remote communication and training is one of the problems that has been best solved, but above all, the ease of sharing content with my business clients and being able to personalize it for each of them through customized branches.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

The 'Branches' feature allows us to create separate portals for each of our customers so they can manage their own users and progress reports. Because our customers are typically companies who want to train up multiple staff members, this is essential for supporting their needs.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

The API is limitted - not all the key functions we need can be accessed through it, which means we have to do quite a number of tasks manually that we would prefer to automate.

**What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a tool which could create a user-management and reporting group for each of our separate customers. This was the only tool we found which meet those criteria (although we have since found other tools which could meet the same need and provide some better functionality in other areas.)

The platform's visually appealing interface is engaging for learners, and the report features are excellent for monitoring everyone's learning journey effectively

I appreciate the current features of the platform, but having the ability to upload longer videos would greatly enhance our content delivery. Additionally, expanding the variety of evaluation and activity options could significantly improve learner engagement. I love the ability to create my own course material using a variety of media.  I also really like the library that has great content.
It was easy to setup and import users.  Editing those users was also easy.

I have not found anything that I dislike so far, which is very unusual for setting up a new platform or service.

Talent LMS has greatly steamlined our onboarding process, and our OSHA training requirements.
We are just getting started, and are suprised at how usefully and easy the platform is to use.

The beta version interface as well as the gamification elements. I love that I can do so much on the platform from uploading a SCORM package to the Talent Craft activities which was recently added.

As I am currently using the Beta version and updates are constantly being made, I have experienced some technical issues, perhaps because of bugs which has made updating content a little challenging at times. I am patient though as I understand that soon the updates will be complete and hence all bugs and issues addressed.

It's allowing me to train over 50 staff members in an effective, fun and professional way

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

We needed an LMS that could be used for only 2-3 months out of the year and Talent LMS was unique in offering that ability. 

We enjoyed being able to take the time to build out our courses before importing users. The ability to mass import users, add them to groups, and invite them to courses is extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

The limited file size for videos caused some issues but we were able to find a workaround.

**What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an interactive way to train seasonal managers without paying for a years worth of services. This provided the best platform to build our own training, track the learners, and only use it when needed.

User-friendly, 
Responsive, easy to use, and customizable. 
Simple layout, intuitive interface, customizable certificates, fast support, and vast automation events. 
Easy to track learner progress and edit its preferences. 
Easy to create courses or upload all types of multimedia content. 
Complete control over the platform, with built-in features to create courses, not depending on external services.
Scorm works well, is easy to update, and does not disturb the user's progress.
The sign-up option and the mandatory fields are beneficial and easy to implement. 
E-commerce courses are a plus! 
Virtual classroom video conferencing also works very well and facilitates blended learning.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

Reports are still somehow confusing to work. 
The content inside the courses can only be deleted and cloned individually.

Based on the client's feedback:
no welcome page inside the platform,
no time spent in courses on the certificate,
cant enable gamification only for some classes,
the reports exported are still very raw and lack identity

**Recommendations to others considering TalentLMS:**

User-friendly, responsive, easy to use, and customizable. Excellent user interface, intuitive and straightforward to work with. Allows more than one admin simultaneously, customizing a course, for example. Automations and customizable certificates save a lot of time and are easy to set up. Allows the integration with other databases with API.

Easy to configure and import content. TalentLMS has been the number one solution for clients looking for an LMS. We have great feedback from them. Our support is always welcome, and we benefit from its intuitive and easy customizations. Easy to import users and to control them inside the platform.

**What do you like best about TalentLMS?**

As a self-taught novice in the online learning arena, I love the ease of use. Much of the platform is intuitive to use, and there is lots of support when I get stuck. Everyone I've interacted with from TalentLMS has been professional and personable. I appreciate the features that are available to make our courses more interesting and engaging.

**What do you dislike about TalentLMS?**

The biggest downside for my unit is the limited number of active users allowed for our subscription. We are a small unit in a public university and we are trying to expand our reach. That is challenging with a small budget.

**What problems is TalentLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The TalentLMS platform removes the barrier of needing to be in the same physical space to engage in an educational experience. In addition to being able to impart knowledge to our clients, I can engage in dialogue with them about their thoughts and questions.
