What do you like best about Slack?

You can create Multiple channels and it is super User Friendly; group chat is one of the best things; you can prioritise and PIN your message so that the team doesn't miss it; the automation that Slack Robot does is so incredible. Moreover, the app is light and can be installed in any E-Device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

I have been using Slack for more than 8 months now, and I don't see a significant dislike, just waiting for more updates and am excited to see the new updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

First of all it Unites the team and it has the ability to add specific group of people into a channel, now this will give you a great space to feel more confidentiality within the work space. I can have a side talk with my peer in reference to the same subject that I am answering to my boss. Which means I can seek help and get support at any point in time. What do you like best about Slack?

Slack is definitely almost made mandatory for the e-commerce-logistics software solution, establishing a working milieu for efficient communication among all users in the team. Real-time messaging and dedicated channels allow for instant coordination of tracking updates, speedy resolution of possible delivery exceptions, and enhanced customer service. The efficient and timely coordination for very big shipments depends on this enhanced cooperation to enhance operational efficiencies. An indispensable tool in an ever-demanding logistics world-Slack! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Slack is great for communicating in real time, but the sheer number of messages sometimes be too much to handle. It would be advantageous to have more detailed notification controls, either with improved filtering or longer channel snooze choices. Additionally, usefulness for our hectic logistical operations would be much improved by enhancing the search tool to retrieve previous talks quickly, particularly inside crowded channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

In our e-commerce logistical and shipping enterprise, Slack is highly utilized for real-time spoken communication with teams. It serves as a way to respond to customer inquiries, mitigate exceptions in shipping, coordinate tracking updates, and facilitate smooth collaboration among operations, support, and sales. The dedicated channels of Slack and instant messages feature prominently in handling the details of large-scale delivery, and it truly means a lot for the customer service we render. Thus, it acts as a communication center of sorts for our business, where everything pertaining to logistics is managed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Slack?

Since I've been using Slack for three months or so, it's essentially become a must for team communication. It's what keeps us all linked as a remote team, which includes me. Slack's ability to keep things organized and accessible is what I appreciate most about it. The channels are revolutionary since everything is clearly divided into teams, projects, and themes, making it very simple to concentrate on what is now important. Additionally, the search feature is excellent! I can search through old discussions, files, and texts without losing anything. When you're working on several projects at once, it's incredibly effective to manage everything in one location. Additionally, you may automate a process or create a flow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The possibility of notification overload is what I find objectionable about Slack. When you're part of a number of channels or teams, it can feel like you're constantly getting pings, even when you're not actively engaging in a conversation. Particularly if you're trying to concentrate or if you're working in various time zones and things are happening while you're offline, it could be a bit much. Even if I make a lot of effort to use "Do Not Disturb" mode, there seems to be a constant buzzing noise in the background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

I work with others more effectively thanks to IT. I can quickly share files, keep track of tasks, and start video calls without ever leaving the app thanks to connectors like Google Drive, Trello, and Zoom. Everything is conveniently located in one location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Slack?

Slack makes everything simple with its channels and direct messages option. It is amazing how you can reply in a single message as a thread and also how you can assign people as VIP. I love Huddles, it is outstanding that you can talk to someone without having to create a meeting, share links, etc. Code and Code block features while you are composing a message are the best! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

I have not found something that I dislike about this app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Attent to meetings almost every hour of your shift might prevent you from having the way to communicate with other people or teams at the same time, huddles and direct messages have made my job journey easier when I need to consult or request any information from someone else. The file sharing feature allows you to share almost every file you want, if you wan to record a short video clip, it is possible with Slack. Having apps such as Google Calendar added to it makes you feel that everything is one-single space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Slack?

I have been using Slack fron the past 3.5 years and am very impressed by it's simplicity and ease of use. It has a good UI, better color coding, status feature and silet calling tone over others. It also shows a good virw of other peer profiles along with he time zone info which help in better call scheduling Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The downside which I found was that it asks for a login every few days even when using office VPN or networks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps me get connected to my team in a better way as I don't have to keep track of what timeline they are in while scheduling some call as slack has a feature where it shows what is the current time of my powers. Also the profile shows what odds the position of the peer in the organisation when working with a client teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Slack?

Facilitates seamless daily conversations with colleagues.

It allows me to easily record, customize, make calls, chat, and access various other features.

Creating groups and connecting with colleagues is simple and efficient.

The threads feature is particularly helpful for keeping conversations organized.

The web version is excellent, and its integration with Gmail makes it easy to implement and use.

I rely on it daily for 9–10 hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The app occasionally hangs.

There are issues with the huddle feature, making the web version a more reliable option at times.

The app version has some bugs, such as redirecting to the web version instead of the app during sign-in. Additionally, it requires daily sign-ins if the laptop is powered off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to instantly connect with my colleagues and set reminders for important tasks.

The huddle feature enables quick connections, while its project collaboration tools are highly effective. The video conferencing runs smoothly without any lags.

Overall, it's an impressive team collaboration software, superior to Microsoft Teams, that I use daily to stay connected with my colleagues.

I've also integrated it with WhatsApp, enabling me to receive assignment notifications seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Slack?

It's integration with different cloud based tools for e.g JIRA along with it's feature to use slack bots to automate tasks and reminder is one of the key features that's been proved veryu useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

It has limited video calling features when compared to other tools. If we improve on this front I guess it will prove to be a wholesome toll for companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Slack works very well on instant messaging feature along with prompt notifications to keep users updated. It's integration with JIRA proves to be significant when using both the tools for business. Slack to a greater extent diminishes the need to install any other messaging tool resulting in keeping the business chats intact in a single tool. That saves a lot of time that goes in setting up different tools for different features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Slack?

Slack is by far my favorite direct messaging channel for a couple of reasons. Number one, we work with quite a few contractors, being able to have them be added to our work Slack channel is a HUGE time saver. Secondly, the other custom integrations, like Asana have been a game changer for my project management. Being able to be pinged in Slack when something is updated in Asana or Google Docs allows me to be on top of high priority items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The only dislike I have is that when you have it open on your desktop and phone, sometimes it'll show you have a message but when you open it, it appears you don't have a message (nothing at the top, bolded, etc.) so I have to manually click different channels / people assuming who it might have been to find the message. Thus flaw costs me time and sometimes causes me to miss a message. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Slack keeps our projects rolling, I love the "huddle" feature, being able to meet quickly without having to schedule a meeting is a game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Slack?

Slack is extremly easy , great UI interface and most importantly it does not have any glitches very occasionally.

Slack is best to share text , images , video and group discussion , group calls with best audio qulaity.

I recommend slack over all other team collaboration softwares Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

1- As per my real time experience, When ever the connection slow down or lost the slack account either got logout directly or at stuck at only loading foreever phase , which makes user frustating.

no more dislikes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Solving problems:

1- traditional communicatioverload in same threads.

2-colloboration of apps: other privous managemrnt tools dont provide the colloboration with other tools like google etc , slack making it poss to colloborate other platforms.

3-Difficulties in searching conversations: traditonally if user want to search or track a particular chat or conversation they need to scroll and do it manually , but in slack user can simple the topic of conversation and no time the whole conversation comes.
