"Flexible, Robust, and Intuitive Ecommerce Solution"
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

I really like the flexibility and ease of use that Shopify Plus offers. It's straightforward to train new team members and get them up to speed with the intuitive interface. If support is needed, the support team is always on hand and resolves issues quickly through live chat or email. The ability to manage stores with bulk imports and exports is also a big plus. Overall, the ease of use makes it easy for a large majority of our team to work with confidently and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

I think the only thing that I'd probably would like easier would be the ability to manage across multiple Shopify instances. At the moment, we've got to export and import everything and you've got to do it in a very structured way so you don't get any errors. Actually, having a built-in ability to just push product from a mass store and then duplicate everything that you've done into one of the other stores would be a huge benefit for us. I've tried looking for other apps that do it, but nothing does it to pull absolutely everything across. So I think there's some work there that could be done. "We left Magento for Shopify and wish we had done it sooner!"
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

What I like the best about Shopify is that its the best of both worlds - It's a closed system so its difficult to break, but yet it is still very flexible and allows you to do things most ecommerce platforms won't. Prior to migrating to Shopify, we used Magento for more than a decade. We chose Magento because of its open nature, but we quickly found that it was a double-edged sword. I can't tell you how many times things broke. For example, we'd install an extension, only to find out that it broke something completely unrelated in Magento. And more often than not, we'd find out when one of our customers would report it to Similarly, we struggled to make our Magento-based website FAST. We kept throwing money after more expensive hosting solutions, hoping that this would solve the speed issue and it never did. By the end of our time on Magento, we were spending over $5,000 a month just on hosting and yet our website would never pass Google Core Vitals. For the first time in years, we're excited about what the future holds with our website and not worried that something would stop working in the middle of the night for unknown reason.

With Shopify, everything just works and works beautifully. And our shopify site passed Core Vitals as soon as our Shopify store launched.

I also like the fact that Shopify licensing fee covers both HOSTING and SOFTWARE, so you know exactly what you're paying for. No throwing money into the pit hoping that spending another $1,000 will solve your problem - which in our case it NEVER did. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

My only complaints are kind of nit-picky. For example, when viewing the products section in the admin panel, it doesn't show you the SKUs of the products. That's very weird to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sidekick’s Low-Code Tools Make Customization Effortless"
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

What I like best about Shopify Plus is Sidekick’s low-code feature—it lets me build custom tools and tweak store settings with plain language, no developer needed. Total time-saver for non-technical folks like me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

What I dislike most about Shopify Plus is that its Flow workflows can’t be triggered based on custom tracking timings, nor can they directly pull tracking data from the algorithm backend. We have to manually store the tracking data ourselves via Capstone 1, instead of being able to leverage the user behavior tracking data that’s already natively stored in the algorithm system. This adds unnecessary extra steps and creates data silos in our workflow, which is a real hassle when we’re trying to optimize our marketing and sales automation processes. "Easy to Use with Excellent Search Functionality"
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

It is fairly easy to use, the search function is great once you get used to it. The design is modern and eye catching. I like the analytics and the reporting, and the ease of creating email campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

There are several features that seem like the should be standard - such as Canada Post integration not having the feature of signature required, thus making it useless to us, or being able to see which employee changed what on a product, or blocking a certain payment method on certain products to prevent fraud, or the ability to mark an order as printed when it has been printed - that they don't have, but that the AI help says exists. "Shopify Plus Has Streamlined Our Store Operations and Helped Us Scale Faster"
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

The biggest advantage of Shopify Plus for our team is how easy it is to manage day-to-day store operations without depending heavily on developers. We update product catalogs, adjust campaigns, and modify the storefront directly from the admin dashboard. The automation tools have also made a noticeable difference in reducing manual tasks. For example, we use Shopify Flow to automate repetitive workflows like tagging orders, routing high-value purchases to a separate review queue, and updating inventory triggers.

Another feature that stands out is the reliability. During our peak seasonal campaigns, Shopify Plus handled traffic spikes without slowing down or forcing us to scale servers manually. The stability and uptime have been better than what we experienced with our previous platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

Although the ecosystem is strong, some advanced features still require third-party apps. If you need highly customized promotions or complex merchandising rules, you may end up relying on multiple apps, which increases monthly costs. I also wish Shopify would give more control over checkout customizations without requiring Shopify Scripts or Functions, especially for businesses with regional pricing or multi-market setups. "Shopify Plus: The Powerhouse for Multi-Store Management"
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

I appreciate Shopify Plus for its easy setup and modular functionality. The platform has a large app marketplace that lets us add any web functions we need for our customers and clients. I like that it can handle multiple stores, locations, and geographies with high customization available even out of the box. It's great that billing is managed together with apps and add-ons, and I also like that payouts per store can be customized to meet our cash flow requirements. The account setup was easy, and creating a basic website/user interface for our customers and clients was straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

Pricing is high and not recommended for startups. Shopify also requires one subscription per brand so when setting up multiple stores, we have to keep in mind that sub-brands that look different under the same holdings/parent company will not be approved in the same subscription. "Unmatched Flexibility and Customization with Shopify Plus"
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

I have been working with multiple Shopify stores on the Shopify Plus plan, and what I like best about it is the flexibility to add custom code promotions without relying on a bunch of apps that break or slow the store. Also, checkout extensibility has been a game-changer for building fully customized checkout experiences with custom UI, logic, and branding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

I don't think there is any downside to using Shopify Plus, but upgrading from basic to the Plus plan requires a hefty amount. This is not feasible for a new store or someone who is just starting their business. As a result, they have to face many limitations that can only be solved by upgrading to Shopify Plus. "Seamless Multibrand Management, Unmatched Scalability"
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

I like Shopify Plus because it gives an unbeatable combination of enterprise-level power, scalability, and straightforward usability. It's really helpful for managing multiple brands, storefronts, regions, and currencies from one backend. It supports our wholesale and B2B sales alongside our direct-to-consumer channel with custom pricing lists and dedicated wholesale portals. The advanced automation helps us streamline workflows like bulk product updates, order routing, and customer segmentation. I also appreciate the integration with a complex tech stack, including ERPs, CRMs, payment gateways, 3PLs, and marketing tools. I'm confident with the enterprise-level security, scalability, and 24/7 priority support. The platform handles flash sales, exclusive launches, and high-demand promotions without site performance worries. Plus, the initial setup was surprisingly straightforward and smooth compared to other platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

First, the platform customization has hard limits, especially when it comes to deeply customizing the checkout or core backend logic. While it’s very flexible for most brands, if you need highly unique, enterprise-level checkout flows or business logic, you can hit walls that require workarounds or apps. Second, the cost structure adds up quickly. Beyond the base platform fee, many critical enterprise features require additional paid apps or custom development, which increases the total cost of ownership significantly compared to self-hosted solutions. "Streamlined Custom Order Management, But Pricey for Small Businesses"
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

I like how reliable Shopify Plus is. Our website runs smoothly and customers can place orders without issues, which is great for a small carpentry business like ours. The platform makes it easy to upload product photos, update prices, and manage custom furniture listings without needing too much technical knowledge. I also appreciate how easy it is to update product details when something changes, like adjusting pricing or delivery times due to variations in wood prices and material availability. Uploading clear photos of our furniture really helps customers understand the quality and design before ordering, which is crucial for handmade items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

One challenge for us is that the platform can feel a bit complex at times, especially when trying to adjust more advanced settings. As a small carpentry business, we don’t have a technical person on the team, so sometimes we need extra time to figure things out or look for help online. The pricing is also on the higher side, which can feel heavy for a growing business like ours, especially during slower sales months. While the features are powerful, not all of them are easy to use without some learning. Another thing is that for very specific custom product options, we sometimes need additional apps, which adds to the overall cost and setup time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A powerful and easy-to-use platform for large and rapidly growing businesses"
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

I really like Shopify Plus because it is powerful and extremely easy to use. I especially like their deep checkout customization, which provides better conversion and a personalized experience. Automation tools like Shopify Flow automate repetitive tasks, saving a lot of time. With Shopify Plus, hosting, security, and speed are built-in, making maintenance easier, and this platform naturally handles high traffic with ease. I switched from Magento to Shopify Plus because the maintenance and technical load are significantly lower here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

Shopify Plus's checkout is more customizable compared to normal Shopify, but it is not a fully open checkout. There are some scripting and logic restrictions, which make it difficult to create completely custom layouts and limit the ability to deeply tweak the payment step. If it were a bit more open, enterprise brands could be even more creative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
