**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I love the search capabilities within SeekOut.  The Boolean function provides a lot of advanced searching techniques and their pre-made Power Filters take out some of the extra work needed to identify candidates.  They have several pre-designed filters that make life easier to get very specific searches to be spot on with our needs with multiple candidates identified.  I can then pair that up with the Messaging features to get in contact with candidates and help identify passive talent to garner interest within the A&F organization.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Not much that I have to complain about.  Since the platform is based on a candidate's public profiles they can be a bit out of date but normally not by much.  Also with the email identification feature we do not always receive the right email for a candidate, but more often than not, it is the proper contact.

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

Great tool that has a lot of capabilities and features to help with sourcing needs.  There also is a huge diversity metrics factor with SeekOut that is extremely helpful for insights about a role, organization, location, etc that help us keep it top of mind.  Also, SeekOut works with its clients to create custom power filters which are helpful and tailored for our needs so we do not need to re-invent the wheel with every search.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SeekOut has helped us identify unique and hard-to-find talent.  There are also several insights that help us use data to tell a story and properly cater our searches moving forward, as well as identify companies that have the talent that we are targeting.  There are a lot of diversity metrics within the platform that also help keep it top of mind.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

1. Easy to use platform - it's super user friendly and I can see all the different options and features 
2. Different features allowing you to source in a variety of ways - boolean, smart search, cloning, source by copying/pasting job description
3. Scours from mulitple online sources - LinkedIn, github, google scholar, personal blogs
4. Can add candidates to a project(s) and clone from projects 
5. Greats filters that breakdown location, education, experience and other filters 
6. Super responsive, friendly and helpful customer service - I've used the chat bot to ask for help mulitple times and I'm so impressed that I get a real human response and help within a few minutes.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

1. The cloning and copy/paste job description to source features don't yield very relevant results for niche profiles, you have to play around with the filters some more, but that's okay! :)

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

We have seekout for over a year and a half, this tool has improved our searches, we usually are assigned to niche roles, very complicated skills and seekout is always our first option to start our searches, it´s really easy to use, it has this amazing expert and healthcare options, we can improve and help into Diversity which is one of our big objectives. 

In this year only we have achieved over 16 offers accepted just from the Sourcing Team which is a really big number in terms of the specific roles we received!

It´s always good to have thee support of the people i seekout, they help us in any of the searches, share tips to improve.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Sometimes the data is not accurate with LinkedIn, we don´t find the profile or even the contact information is incorrect.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have improve our D&I hires, our searches are faster and we can find the information about studies or articles for each candidate in the same space. Seekout is always a helpful tool to find the best talent for our Niche roles and Senior positions, we use the tool as our primary one, due to the results we have. It´s a critical tool for our team!

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I enjoy using this tool to find leads along with contact information. I appreciate the versatility of the filters and that it has diversity enhancements. I also like the time stamp of someone's last activity on LinkedIn and how enriched each other their profiles are. Great customer service and shout out to Josh for spending 30 minutes with me sourcing and helping me best utilize the platform with some tips and tricks.

I really enjoy the People Analystics. It is fairly easily to use and appreciate I can do a candidate search easily capture the analytics of the search instead of having to use a separate platform.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I really don't like the amount of leads that do not have more recent contact information or when you select to review information but no information was available.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing me to source passive talent with diversity boosters. Can be challenging to identify diverse talent without data but Seek out has the data avaialble to properly boost diverse sourcing efforts through using the platform.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

My favorite parts about seekout are the many customizable filters and space for long boolean strings in the keyword box, the ease of viewing profiles and the way it connects to LinkedIn, and the ability to gather email addresses to avoid having to inmail candidates. I use this sourcing tool al the time and it's my favorite to use. Right now my current company doesn't have access to the diversity filters yet, but that absolutely used to be my favorite feature about Seekout in my past roles!

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

My only wish is that you could source by candidates open to work link on LI Recruiter.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier to reach out directly to candidates via email instead of inmail. More effective in using detailed boolean strings than other platforms.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

My favorite part about Seekout is the ability to source diverse candidates. Working in tech, the talent pool of female to male is usually a 1 - 2 ratio, making it harder to find diverse talent. With a tool like Seekout, you can find the best diverse candidates, quickly!I also really like how detailed you can get on it's search features. I think it's better than the industry standard, Linkedin.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I think their email messaging tool could have a bit better of UI/UX but it's still good. I compare it to other tools I've used and it looks a bit more old school than others.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seekout is helping us add more diverse talent to the front end of the hiring pipeline. The more talented diverse talent we enter into the pipeline, the better chances we have!

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

The upsides of Seekout are the easy search features. The platform returns many results for various search/boolean combinations. The Smart match and Duplicate features are also very helpful in generating results that match well. I also like the talent insights provided about a market area.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

SeekOut does not do a very good job of providing valid contact information on the profiles returned. For example, I have run many searches where there are, lets say 150 profiles returned as a match for my search....however, only 50 or less have actual valid contact info. I can see that the person exists...but have literally no way of contacting them...which defeats my primary purpose for using seekout. I am a headhunter seeking hard to find candidates. SeekOut is only helpful for me in this endeavour about 25-30% of the time, due to the lack of contact information.

The ability to gain talent insights about a geographic area is helpful for my business in understanding the talent pools available in the current market.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

SeekOut has made sourcing a dream for me and my team. We are all experienced recruiters who have sourced on all different platforms and SeekOut has quickly become one of our "go-to's". It allows us to find more canidates with more specific qualifications that we're looking for. It also allows us to create projects where we can "replicate" candidates that we like or even our current employees and find resume matches which is super helpful. I also like the GitHub feature, I've never used a feature like that before so it has been super cool to use.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

The only downside, which really isn't a flaw on SeekOut as it is a problem with compatability with my company's system. I am not able to use the email campaigns feature due to my Microsoft email account not letting me log in through SeekOut. But, like I said, this is not SeekOut's fault at all, but it would be super cool if it worked. I just send the emails out myself instead of using the mass email feature!

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SeekOut is finding me more qualified candidates and showing me exactly where the things I'm searching for are on the candidates resumes/profiles. This specifically is something other platforms are lacking in my opinion - they come up in the searrch but doesn't show me where. This is benefiting me tremendously beacuse it is cutting my sourcing time down by a lot.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I really like the fact that SeekOut pulls from everything in order to create profiles of candidates. It's not limited to just one job board. I love that candidates' LinkedIn profiles are linked so we can easily click and message from our accounts. The new Outreach feature makes candidate contacting and email campaigns seamless. Really enjoying the platform! And the customer service is amazing!

Some aspects are still a little buggy, but as soon as the issue is brought to the attention of the team, they work to correct it!

It's expensive to pay for every single job board out there. Having the results of all the job boards in one place is amazing!

My favorite aspects of SeekOut are the ability to get validated contact information, as well as export candidates into either .pdf profiles or listing them on an excel spreadsheet.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

While a potentially nice feature, the Insights are often a bit too broad whenever needing very esoteric data for niche roles within highly specialized industries such as biologics, gene therapy, etc.

SeekOut provides contact information, allows candidates to be placed into projects, and these candidate profiles and information can be exported. This has saved a numerous amount of time and helps me keep candidate pipelines organized and easily accessible.

good candidate reach in multiple countries in APAC region, especially where Indeed or LinkedIn is not as widely used. I've been using this tool to help source candidates in India.

it's not free and the cost depends on your home country versus the ability to toggle between paying for the posting in the country(ies) where it will be posted.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I think the most helpful aspect of SeekOut is the helpful capability of removing unconscious bias. Despite any attempts otherwise, bias CAN seep into your sourcing. SeekOut has a variety of tools at your disposal to pull a curtain over those potential prejudices and consider candidates strictly based on their merit and credentials. Moreover, it is fairly easy to use. Linkedin has a number of similar types of seach functionalities, but the Power Filters readily enable dynamic searches with little effort. The tool is mostly seamless in it's integration with our ATS, as you can import candidate profiles with their phone numbers and contact info--all while tying them to specific requisitions within the ATS. It is fairly convenient. I find myself reaching for SeekOut OR even it's Chrome extension which lets me pull contact info from Linkedin searches directly. I probably use it 3 or 4 times a week despite having a Linkedin Recruiter seat. Moreover, when I was ramping up on how to use the tool, what the capabilities were, how the algorithm was searching based on what I was inputting, the customer chat feature connected me with a knowledgeable, capable support specialist. She did end up needing to escalate some of my queries because I was keen to understand precisely where SeekOut was pulling the information at a granular level so I wasn't precluding certain candidates from my search by adding search terms or filters--or if I was, that I was at least aware that I was doing it.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I think the panel to view the SeekOut profile has a ton of helpful information, but my natural instinct is to pull up the Linkedin profile from the view. I wish there was perhaps something a bit more intuitive about the candidate profile when you are on the search page, but I'm not sure if I am going to Linkedin because I'm accustomed to it from years of recruiting--or if I am typically finding the info I need more quickly. I don't know what, if anything, would make it more helpful on the SeekOut side in terms of how info is displayed, what is displayed, how it is organized... but it is one of those things that you intuit and know based on how you use it. I think it could also be more convenient if the Smart Search, which let's you get a quick candidate pool with relative ease, could also NARROW/REFINE those parameters with Boolean, i.e. under the additional search options--if you could just add a boolean field. Otherwise, you have to switch between smart search and boolean. Sometimes, I've got the candidates I want largely in the field, but I may want to do something more semantic in the searching with something that isn't necessarily a skill those is going to populate on a Linkedin skills list. It just doesn't seem like a stretch to have that as something you could add in to narrow your candidate pool while using the Smart Search.

SeekOut is largely solving diversity issues and it's different approach to sourcing typically enables me to find different candidate pools than I would otherwise find using Linkedin's native tools and search functions.

The best thing is it made so easier to review CV's across the world. Now your recruitment is not limited to only your country, it helps in expanding the learning curve. The diversity tab, the usage report weekwise, monthwise, the messaging credits, emailing the candidate, getting passive candidate contact details, every is so easy and user-friendly to navigate the tool. 
The best job portal ever I have come across, no limitation at all and its so user friendly

Diversity profiles, it gives you a broad overview of talent pool availability. THe ease of reaching out to passive job seekers. The usage report, now you can expand your recruitment game to other countries as well. This is one tool which is so easy to navigate and everything is just a click away.

Customer service, the ability to find quality passive candidates, power filters, DEI filters, incredible boolean search abilities, and overall ease of use! The continued training and accessibility to customer support are spectacular. It really is the best sourcing tool that I have ever used!

There is nothing to dislike about Seekout. It really is an amazing resource with great customer service and an amazing AI to find the talent needed.

I am able to find and qualify passive and active talent through multiple resources all available on one platform. I can easily message them from this app and gather insightful information on the candidate's career and achievements.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

One advantage is that it provides email & phone for many candidates. Also, the built-in AI is superior to LinkedIn's version. Customer service is much better, too!

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I think they are working on improving the candidate messaging features. I've worked with it for a couple of years and have seen continual improvement.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing candidates can be time-consuming. SeekOut helps with searching, and it supplements my efforts with artificial intelligence. It also offers messaging campaigns. I'm still learning all the ins and outs, but there are frequent webinars and training sessions, and they are recorded and can be viewed at the customer's convenience.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I love that Seekout has some filters to help sort candidate demographics- if you're doing diversity recruiting, Linkedin's search limitations mean you have to do a ton of different Booleans for the tool to be able to capture enough data to be useful. Seekout does make it slightly easier to figure out what you're looking at.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Seekout doesn't have enough filters. It's relying too heavily on Linkedin's data, which is self-reported by candidates and often missing, incorrect or outdated. 

Compared to tools that have ai features and can find data from across the web, Seekout's search results are only slightly better than Linkedin's in my experience.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The juice hasn't been worth the squeeze with Seekout for me yet. It's too similar to Linkedin for me to consider it really useful or necessary.

I really like SeekOut's power filters, along with diversity and publication filters. These filters make strategic sourcing initiatives more user friendly and easy to track how you came across certain profiles within your search.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Grabbing contact information in bulk from SeekOut can be extremely time consuming. For high volume sourcing, it's not reasonable to have to go through candidates one by one to reach out.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SeekOut makes it easier to find unique profiles that I wouldn't otherwise be able to find via other platforms (i.e. LinkedIn). The project and saved filters make it easy to pick up where I left off in my sourcing strategy.

Being able to take a quick look at analytics behind prospect searches (target cities, candidate profiles, etc), and then if necessary being able to really dive into insights using some pre-formatted searches, or the ability to create one's own search.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Integration with LinkedIn I understand that any integrations rely on having a premium LinkedIn subscription, but it's still something which I wish was better.

Working around LinkedIn restrictions, being able to surface prospect information and looking at insights behind profiles and locations.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

The ease of use.  There is no need to be a boolean string expert.  SeekOut does that for you.  Just pop in the parameters, and it does the work for you, producing the results you want.  The system is easy to navigate and you can easily tweak your parameters to update the search for new and different results.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

The email/inmail feature can use some help.  It's my understanding my company has to grant certain rights so that we can get the full experience on emails, so that may be an issue on our side with granting permissions, etc.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly time saved in sourcing. I'm a full life cycle technical recruiter, with a high req load, and very little time to source.

Unfortunately, not all areas will have candidates on Seekout based on the level of the platform

When the profile is viewed on LinkedIn after it gets shortlisted on SeekOut the keywords are not highlighted on LinkedIn and it takes lot of time to look out for the keywords again

SeekOut allows me to tap into more public profiles than I could normally access through LinkedIn and other social platforms that limits you to 3 degrees beyond connections. 

Customer services is exceptional. They provide training videos for everything, so if you feel like your understanding of 'Boolean' is inadequate, you will be a pro in no time. I do not have an applicant tracking system that integrates with SeekOut, currently, but I am advocating strongly for my ATS to merge with SeekOut.

When I got started with SeekOut, I quickly became acclimated with the platform. I use SeekOut everyday. It has become second nature to open it up and do a quick search for all of my executive roles to make notes, or just see if anything new is out there. I have implemented a new 'plan of attack' that is solely thanks to SeekOut. SeekOut helps to identify the inefficiencies in my own processes and allows me to use my time more efficiently as well as effectively.

When I use SeekOut, I cross reference all my healthcare searches with executive searches because jobseekers may word things in a way that algorithms may not always pick up on.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

The information on SeekOut is only as good as the information provided by the jobseeker, so it can sometimes be a miss. More often than not, my searches have been successful. I would like the integration into my ATS system. Hopefully some day soon that will be available. I have alerted my ATS to this and they are working on their next round of upgrades to include this.

Customer Service/training is really helpful. Custom boolean search or creative approach to sourcing the team is always there to assist. I also like the power filter- and healthcare database. I see contract information as more accurate than when we have utilized other platforms. I am still learning and growing pipelines and hope to update my review with my YTD hires from the platform as my campaign messaging continues.

When searching on the public profiles page, the same candidates pop up and there isn't a way to hide them compared to Linkedin Recruiter. Also, you still have to click through their profile to get to their Linkedin because experience might not be the most updated within Seekout. I've heard from customer support it's because they update profiles every quarter so there can be a lag if a candidate recently got a new job.

Seekout uses lightning fast search to enable you to find the very best candidates. While much of it is via LinkedIn for my types of searches, I find that the filters that allow me to search women, Latino and Black candidates is something I can't do with other engines.

At times, the Boolean search string functions can be hard to get right, however, I do appreciate their suggestions on how to fix them. Ultimately, playing around some usually solves the problem and I can move forward.

I value the wealth of comprehensive information that is available for candidate searches in one location. The number of candidates on this website is astounding. I enjoy how you can use power filters to speed up your search process, especially if you're looking for the same types of candidates in various locations. This saves you from inputting a lengthy boolean string each time a new position becomes available. Another of my favorite features is that when you search different areas, it will let you know how many applicants are available there (for example, Dallas (34), and Houston (51)).

The only two things that have been challenging for me are that there are several candidates for healthcare in various locations rather than all in one place, and I frequently come across invalid or unavailable email addresses.

The ability to do a complex boolean search to pinpoint the talent I am looking for across multiple platforms is amazing.  Additionally, I can research and provide details to hiring managers on what a market looks like or how a particular skill narrows the market. The support from SeekOut is steller with the ease of an IM exchange to help with a boolean string!

I wish it covered more non-traditional searches for resumes like google, conference sites, etc. The AI feature is ok, but not as good as a traditional boolean search.

Seekout saves time! The ability to search and see a decent amount of a person's profile to make quick assessments on fit, and then if interested, have a phone or email address to reach out.  We do not have integration with our systems yet; SeekOut will even be better once that happens!

SeekOut is a great sourcing tool. I love the AI integration into the product; it makes sourcing far more accessible and more efficient. They have launched a program called Seekout Assist, which is just awesome. I love the tool even more because of it.  The program is powered by GPT technology and allows for smart matches to be made as well as messaging. Plus, I can just add my JD into the system and finds qualified candidates based on the JD uploaded. If that isn't awesome, I do not know what is.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

For the caribbean the features are limited but hopefully seekout will find a way to fix that problem. It presently does not allow us to find the contacts of persons in the caribbean only the US and oter first wold countries.

It solves the sourcing problem we were having. It has been working out great thus far. I totally love this product. Definitely more productive and efficient in carrying out my duties with this product.

It's advanced Boolean operators really help with searches that a simple string will struggle with.  Search specific fields of the profile, weight one word in the string over others, it's really useful.

My company hasn't integrated Seekout into our applicant tracking system yet, so there is some extra work involved in fully utilizing the results generated for seekout.  Hopefully, this will change as we integrate the product fully.

As a company, we have a drive to include more underrepresented groups in our corporate workforce.  By utilizing Seekout's diversity filters, I can get better results, whether it's women, veterans, or other historically underrepresented groups.
