I have used Salesforce with different companies. This version is to read emails from individuals at different companies.

it is very complicated and your computer seems to need alot of memory in order to use it.

It allows me to process and submit quotes for our B2B strategic accounts clients. It also allows me to be productive. As soon as one case closes another case comes.

One of the appealing features is the option to include and gather a lot of data on contracts with other companies. It is more advantageous for us since it can be linked with other Salesforce programmes, and we have already done so with Salescloud.

Pricing could be better for this product, it is expensive as compared to other solution we have used in the past.

The best thing about Salesforce Commerce is it is easy to use. It is easy to engage client business and make customer Relationships with different users. We can manage data more efficiently, track company sales with the help of reports and dashboards, and design the sales process. It's fun to plan how we can incorporate and customize our developments per the needs of each proprietor. This CRM can be used by all corporate sizes, from minor to medium-sized companies and leading large companies like ours.

As such, I haven't disliked the salesforce. But It is hard to be part of salesforce for small organizations because of the salesforce cost. It is an additional cost that companies must pay for some time out of pocket. Salesforce has already given access to the developer to play around with the salesforce by using the developer org.

Salesforce is a CRM tool that is used to manage customer relationships. In the current software market, salesforce is used by multiple organizations. I used to automate the sales process in salesforce, designing the database. As each industry widely accepts the marketing sector, each method uses its system according to its business needs. Some companies use their trade and outgrowth marketing drives and cloud service users to provide services to their customers, while others use alternatives.

The UI is not very streamlined and hence there are multiple ways to reach to the same data and many times it requires a lot of clicks to reach your desired field. This is counterproductive.

I like the fact that we can find tenants and write reports about tenants. This is easy use and this product has become my best friend. I am thankful for the companies I have worked for and utilize this product. This has helped me remain organized and easy information to track down.

There were too many things I dislike about this. When having to write down prospect information, we had to go back and forth multiple times to close a case. I wish it was not as complicated as it is. It should be simple and easy. There is also a limit. Only 5 people from my company have access to this. I don't understand why.

Salesforce is one of the most adaptable CRM which is used to create consistent experience for the customers across platform and it can be easily integrated with other cloud or on premise systems.

The CRM is little expensive and its setup cost is too much. Eventhough its quite adaptable but still its complex implementation is itself a huge task and the cloud database management.

Used for customer customization incase of product management. Also it is integrated with SAP and all the transactions are synced with SAP at backend thus providing another entry point to the data.

SFCC is a very robust and fast software with some special functionality that is not found on other ecommerce platforms (e.g. Einstein AI features, sophisticated product filters).

**What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

It's impossible to implement and set up the software yourself. You need an experienced developer (costs $100-300k) who usually needs 6-12 months to complete a fully functional website. Surprisingly, SFCC lacks very fundamental features every low-cost platform offers OOTB. For example:
- Order management functionality is basically non-existent; shipping carriers (e.g. FedEx, UPS etc) cannot be connected to SFCC to get real-time shipping quotes (3rd party app is required)
- OOTB checkout features are ridiculously limited so that extensive custom coding is required
- The Page-Designer is useless since you can't even change fonts or font sizes.
- SFCC has zero pre-configured API connections to 3rd party apps (e.g. ERP systems, inventory systems, accounting systems etc.) whereas Magento, Shopify, and BigCommerce offer hundreds of plug-play connections.
Overall SFCC is for large businesses with deep pockets and having their own IT department.

Even though it is a old product now, salesforce still provides support for the product.
Too many B2B functionalities are provided with OOTB. Also, now salesforce is slowly rolling out the same product with lightning experience. This new lighnting roll out will be more industry relevant technologies. The robust pricing structure which is one of the most important attribute of b2b business is very easily and efficiently managed using Acount level, Account group level, tier level or product level pricing. CC Admin part of cloudcraze package makes it very easy while onbaording new coutries with different currencies and Languages. One can also manage branding side using CC Admin which does not reuires experts to manage. It is very easy to integrate google analytics to track b2b business vital parameters such as cart conversion rate, click through rate etc.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce B2B Commerce?**

Cloudcraze still works on classic version, and also many of the times, one will have to use legacy technologies such as Handlerbar for custom functionalities. And it is tough to find the resources who work on both frontend and backend part of the cloudcraze. But in some cases for storing of product images and videos customeres might have to go with different content management services such as AWS.

**Recommendations to others considering Salesforce B2B Commerce:**

For new implementations, businesses should consider going with Lightning version instead of Cloudcraze managed package, which reduces the hiring of resources with niche and legacy skills like Handlebar.

Many out of the box functionalities such as Reorder, wishlists, order tracking, Pricing structures (Tier wise, product specific, account group-specific etc), which are very important for B2B implementations. All these functionalities make it easier for implementation of new B2B platforms for businesses.
