**What do you like best about Plutio?**

From project management and client communication to invoicing, proposals, scheduling, and time tracking — it really simplifies the chaos of juggling multiple apps.   I've used the platform for years to manage projects, send proposales and invoices, and manage client subscriptions.

**What do you dislike about Plutio?**

The development has stalled, a previous big rollout was something of a disaster that caused a lot of issues for users, but the core functionality is solid and the team clearly want to keep improving by listening to user feedback.

**What problems is Plutio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of hopping between project management tools, invoicing systems, communication apps, and scheduling software, it unifies everything into one flexible but powerful workspace.

All the bugs I was struggling with last time I reviewed this software are still problems now!

**What problems is Plutio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted affordable proposal and invoicing software. But Plutio now does so much more for me. It enables me to manage lots of competing projects and integrate all the business admin in one place whereas before I had to do every piece of admin in a different tool. This saves me lots of time.

1. Support is so slow it's virtually inexistent, and the guys there - when you do manage to hunt the down and talk to them - give the impression that you are seriously disturbing their administrative slumber.

It's one package. it has customizable feature and brandable U/I. Cradle to grave features for one stop client managment.

**What do you dislike about Plutio?**

Tasks can not be linked. That feature is allegedly on the roadmap. I just can't use it in that model for the number of tasks that I typically have in a project.

**What problems is Plutio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a central location to manage touchpoints with a client. I want to bring clients into the picture.  If the client's responsibility is to provide information or decisions, we can put those activities in Plutiol. We could essentially work as one team. So for basic blocking and tackling of task management I could manage across projects.

I love the ability to customize nearly anything necessary to make it unique to my brand.

Some of the navigation functions within the portal don't make logical sense to me, and could be mapped smoother.

Plutio is allowing us to offer our clients with a portal to track their service requests as well as a worksace for our subcontractors to manage theirs.

The application is good and with nice look.

You can't rely your business on Plutio seriously. The company ignores customers' requests and support and abandons the development - all depending on the mood of the team and the owner. They are constantly making minor updates, but it takes a while, and most of those are useless or UI-based instead of making it more functional since there are always problems with the app. There are many unfulfilled promises, and automation is one of those that everyone has been waiting for years since 2021

**What problems is Plutio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project and customer manager, sales and admin, BUT since the platform is not working fine and the support team is unreliable, we can only use it when it works and the support wants to answer.

**What do you like best about Plutio?**

Plutio has pretty much every piece of functionality you need to run your business. It has more functionality than any other such package I've tried. Indeed, I recently realized that the forms builder in Plutio was more functional that the full-product forms tool I was using externally. I was able to cut out that entire service and use Plutio instead. Most of Plutio's features are similarly complete and well-thought-out.

One of my favorite things about Plutio is just that it's so well-written. It's actually quite rare these days to find fast, snappy software that solves your problems. I don't know who the development team is on this product, but the interface is extremely fast and can simply become part of my habits. No waiting. Everything happen instantaneously.

I've also found the support very responsive. They're a small team, so don't always get back to me immediately, but generally they respond and solve my problems or provide a workaround within a few hours.

**What do you dislike about Plutio?**

The biggest downside is that once your business is loaded into Plutio, you're there. There's no way to export your data in a way that can be imported into another tool, should you need to do so as your business grows. This is true of pretty much all the integrated packages I've tried, but it would still be nice to be able to export / import so I can back up a copy of my data in case something happens to my internet connection or to their servers.

**What problems is Plutio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage several projects at once and have one or more people helping me with each project. Plutio helps me keep everything straight. We use Kanban boards to track clients and prospects. We use Wikis for the standard operating procedures associated with a project. Most recently, I've replaced my external SaaS form-builder with Plutio forms. They're faster and easier to build than the SaaS solutions I've tried.

All the features needed for a growing agency: proposals, invoicing, tasks, project management, CRM, and more. It is also provided at a low price point that is very manageable for small businesses looking for a CRM and project management system.

**What do you dislike about Plutio?**

Plutio deleted my terms from signed proposals, then stopped responding to my request for support. Again, great concept, but they try too hard to keep innovating what works great and in return, things get broken. Because of this, I don't have full trust in their team or system. Things seem to have gotten better recently, though.

I needed a way to manage my business, clients, and projects. They offered a solution to do all that with their customizable proposals, payable invoices, client access, task management, project management and organization, and team access.

Plutio is one of the best tools to organize tasks and stay in touch with what everyone else is doing. Do you need to know if the IT department finished setting up your user? Just go to their board to find out instead of having to communicate with them.

Even tho plutio has been updated with great new features, It still needs a feature that makes completed tasks disappear from a board, or maybe moved to the bottom of the list.

Not forgetting what I need to work on, We have an integration with Slack and Zapier, every time a new tasks shows up, all we need to do is type it to a special channel and it will be added to my board.

I really like setting up easily replicated templates for tasks we repeatedly run to ensure nothing gets missed. I know it has more like invoicing but we use other platforms for that..

Seems very bulky and can be confusing to get around when you are first starting up your teams and getting them acquainted with how to use the platform in your organization

Plutio is an easy platform to use. It's available via their portal using a web browser or desktop app. You can easily switch from different client accounts with fully customizable tabs. There are many features I've yet to unlock.

I have not used this software tool to its full potential. Because we have an external invoicing software already implemented I have not tried out plutio's version.

I can have different contributors review what projects are in the pipeline without having to email them. This allows me to keep myself and everyone updated on the status of various projects.

The client billing features on this tool are amazing. I can create custom proposals, contracts, and invoices from within the program. From there I can send them to clients where they can e sign and accept the terms and even pay their bill directly.

Nothing really, this has been a great tool for me.

Client management issues have been solved, especially client billing! The white label features of this product keep things looking professional as well. There's also a client portal so customers can keep track of their projects and invoices easily. Plutio has changed how I operate my business!

Plutio includes all of the traditional features of a client portal like tasks, kaban boards, time tracking, milestone etc, and take a giant leap over the competition offering Invoicing, Subscription Management, Internal Chat, with the ability to White Label the portal and domain.

So far the only pain point has been with integrations with companies for Intercom and ability to editing a subscription without having to have a client re-fill out CC info.

**What do you like best about Plutio?**

Easy to organise all aspects of my projects, from initial proposal, identifying essential tasks, collaborating with the client, monitoring time spent, task progress through to invoice creation and payment collection. Recurring tasks are intuative and essential for me.

I like everything about Plutio, there are a few glitches as things are developed and improved but support are very responsive and helpful. There is an active Facebook Community of users who support fellow members.

**What problems is Plutio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By biggest issue has always been recurring tasks and forgetting to invoice clients for annual services. Plutio lets me incorporate with my project planning and reminds me when I need to raise an invoice and allows me to create & send it with a few clicks. A simple click then schedules the task for the following year. Yes I could do this in other apps but Plutio gives me a single portal to all my projects and business tools, perfect!

Simply log into your portal and you have all the detiails about your project in one place. Plutio makes it easy to stay organized and on track with your service-based product. There are a lot of new features coming.
We use the platform to manage active clients, their projects, their tasks and events. There is a live web chat feature that you can embed on your website to allow prospects to communicate. Study the features and you will find that this is an overall great value tool for project management.

Plutio has a roadmap full of great ideas but they have been slow to develop. Sometimes over 2 years. There is a great community surrounding the product, lots of discussion and feedback from the supporters, I I just wish the development could move faster.

**Recommendations to others considering Plutio:**

Compare features with other platforms and you will find this to be a good value. This single platform can replace multiple tools.

It is a great tool to keep my team organized. I have a white-labeled client portal that looks real professional to let clients review their project status, leave update requests and collaborate. The event calendar sends reminders to me and my team to keep us on track for an event.

The flexible dashboard, financial features issuing invoices/receipts with templates, proposal and project management with Kanban view are very helpful! Very comprehensive features and functions.

Still need automation to help with workflow, and the messaging system could be improved for a more friendly experience. But they are working on these though!

I like how easy it is to create a proposal and project, and then start billing all in the same application.

I don't like that I can't create new customers from the task or invoicing applications. I have to go out and create them first. There is an order of operations to make things work easily.

If you are starting out as an agency, this is all you will need to get the job done. This will replace all your other applications and can even be "white-labeled" to make you look like a big-shot.

Plutio is a cost effective way of engaging with remote teams and it has loads of features Trello doesn't, such as time tracking and costing, proposals, or invoicing.

**What do you dislike about Plutio?**

The system can be slow to update sometimes, but not experienced any major downtime yet.It is also sometimes confusing to filter results and they don't update automatically.

Managing a remote team across multiple countries and continents and international clients can be challenging. As a part of our pledge to become a Lean marketing agency, we decided to streamline our processes using Plutio.

**What do you like best about Plutio?**

The interface looks good, modern design
They do offer the possibility to have a white-label portal, which is a good thing for many businesses 
But with all the cons, it's hard to choose Plutio unless you don't care much about the details or you just need one or two features from it that you can probably find for free using other companies like Trello for project management

**What do you dislike about Plutio?**

We decided to migrate to Plutio because of the number of features and customizations that this software offers. But unfortunately, a lot of features do not work correctly. And not so intuitive as it appears.

We only used it for a few days, and we were testing to see if it is what we need. 

I think there is still a lot to improve, we have seen several bugs, and several essential features are missing to call it all in one, like HR, payroll reports, accounting, and expenses.

At first, I had mixed feelings. One of our team's reasons to give up Plutio is that Plutio's customer service is not good. We still have not received any responses to our support requests sent out five days ago. I was advised not to ask any support-related questions on the Facebook group.

Among the things that I think Plutio needs to improve: are Localization issues, adding shortcuts, so you don't need to click several times like checking tasks details from the dashboard, improving the chat (which is extremely buggy) [good luck sending a screenshot to your team mate], the way how the PDF looks on email, and a lot of other minors issues that I think got accumulated over time.

In our Dashboard, there is an error message showing for days, still no feedback from Plutio support.

I understand that making software that meets all business requirements, from invoicing to project management, is not an easy thing; Plutio is a small team trying to compete with giants.  I see it as a demo product, and I think they should have continued to improve it before releasing it or adding more developers behind it.
I am doing this review so that other customers have an idea before buying the product. I wish Plutio all the success, but let's be honest, there is still a lot of work to do.

**What do you like best about Plutio?**

After paying and using many project management tools, we were unable to find one that worked for all parts of our agency. If we managed the project ok, then the client had problems. Ease of use and the White Label functionality, customize everything, the list goes on. Publio is just what we needed, the clients love it and find it easy to use, the team loves it and being able to set permissions for all roles, all are happy with the power they have at their disposal. The first time I have set up a project management tool, not had to read anything first or contact support, it just was so logical for me and the team.

**What do you dislike about Plutio?**

I would love to see the accounting side expanded more, this is the only area that I think you could say was lacking, but minor annoyance for me.

We now have full control of our products and I see where we are with all active projects along with the team. Messaging on this platform is easy and love the custom field options. Loading files and even the clients being able to load files is great. Our workflow has become much clearer and productivity has improved overnight with a lot less time spent on doing the updating of the project status.

**What do you like best about Plutio?**

Plutio is a project management app that has everything you need to make your workflow smoother. Some of the features that I like are - the ability to create customizable dashboards, sorting all of your top priorities neatly, putting together contracts and proposals with the help of readily available templates, that you can customize in minutes, create and track tasks with deadlines, and then further reorganizing those within various task groups/categories withing different projects, and the best part is that I can create clients and their corresponding companies/agencies database and connect or associate each of those contacts with a particular project, and thereby keep track of all communications and coordinate the progress. The invoice can also be generated automatically from the proposal.

**What do you dislike about Plutio?**

Plutio has limited payment gateways, and the ability to set reminders and alerts, and their further customization is limited. The ability to add new team members is pretty limited for the price. The cost of white labeling and custom branding is pretty steep.

**What problems is Plutio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The app is very easy to use and I like the fact that you can customize the dashboard to a degree as well as the available templates to come up with very suitable and professional-looking proposals and contracts, that you can further tweak, using readymade blocks - making the process feel like web designing without coding. The user interface is very well-thought and managing clients with my Plutio account is a breeze! I also like how you can track time and deadlines for projects, and the interface enables me to move from one project to the other smoothly and I can easily design each and every stage of my ongoing project workflow in a visually attractive way, that I can proudly present and showcase to my clients also, in case that want to inspect on the progress done.

To me, what sets Plutio apart is it’s really customizable features… Plutio can be adapted to fit whatever scenario you can come up with! Also, it's nice to have many valuable business features all under one roof.  It’s fantastic! :)

One thing I desire is the ability for Plutioto have reminders sent out to clients who have missed a payment. I heard that is coming soon once automation is implemented so I’m excited about what’s coming.

Don't hesitate! For the 4 years I've been with Plutio, I've seen Plutio go from strength to strength - with more features coming as we speak! This is a tool to have in ones toolkit for sure!

Most all in one type software products are inferior in the itemized feature set, not Plutio! Plutio is the first software product that I've used that I feel confident I can run my entire business through. It has CRM, ELectronic Documents with Esigining, Live Chat Widgets, Project Management and much more! Best of all, we fully white labeled the product plus the customer portals are white labled.

I wish I could white label the mobile apps but this certainly is not a deal breaker.

Plutio solves a major operational problem for our team. It allows us to run all of our operations through one app, plus it streamline customer operations.

Support seems pretty solid and the platform is always improving. I have submitted a ticket and within an hour I'll get a thorough response.

The search function needs some work, although I'm finding workarounds and improvements each time I use the site. I'd like to be able to run a invoice search on a term in the invoice, but it looks like I can group invoices in a different screen so it's no longer a must have update.

Like everything else, check out the features and make sure Plutio solves a current problem. Also make sure it's something your team can use daily if you're wanting more than one person to use it.

Easy invoicing mostly, but also I use Plutio as a to-do list. I was spending too much on software and Plutio is definitely more affordable and offers a lot.

Having tried a lot of quality competing products and I am stoked with Plutio's feature set, how actively developed it is and its bold roadmap. The growing list of integrations with platforms like Stripe, Zapier and Integrately are quickly making Plutio the perfect app for agencies and freelancers.

What is immediately turned me onto Plutio over Trello (Where I was coming from) Was the fact that you could insert checklists inside of a checklist - In other words, you could go to more granular with projects that needed subtasks, With their own set of to-do's.

**What do you dislike about Plutio?**

I still have not figured out a way to customize my "home screen."  Upon login, I'm greeted with every single task that is incomplete… Into little visually overwhelming considering I don't use Plutio necessarily as a "task completion engine."  I like the ability to simply see my overview of projects or even choose the top two or three projects in my dashboard.

**Recommendations to others considering Plutio:**

I would choose a task or project that you have coming up and commit to JUST focusing on getting that project plugged into Plutio. Focus on doing it cleanly and with purpose. Avoid "project dumping" all the projects you currently have… that will only overwhelm you; you'll end up having a series handful of projects that are all half–baked. It's too much; you'll miss out on the nuances that Plutio (or *any* project management app offers) and end up skimming right over many of its benefits.

**What problems is Plutio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, I use Plutio as a means to keeping track of my business recurring expectations.  It can be overwhelming to track anytime a new subscriptionService, no matter how helpful, gets added to your flow.  I know Plutio can do so much more, however the tool has still proven to be a valuable resource When it comes to tracking recurring and a subscriptionPayments, monthly or annual… 

I also use it to develop somewhat of a template when it comes to setting up a new computer to be productive.  There are always a slew of applications, fonts and documents that need to be installed on a new Mac.  In the past this has been extremely overwhelming.  What's nice about Plutio, is that I can set up a template for one particular machine, and duplicate that for a new machine.  The ability to make these set up tasks into checklists as well as to add notesIs a huge deal.

One of the things that I felt was a turnoff was the proposals. I've heard others absolutely rave about them, however I simply use a different platform. The concern for me wasn't the existence of that particular feature—it was my own philosophy that challenged the app's development that goes something like this: "If you're going to be a project management app, do it. Leave that other stuff to other tools—Pages, Keynote, MS Word, plus the other secure digital signature apps that already have a leg up on this, Docusign, Docsketch, etc." What ends up being the result is a lackluster 'proposal' tool that few use (thank you to them, for being essentially the beta testers). After having said that…

I believe I would use Plutio much more if I had jumped on board later than what I did. It's very obvious that Plutio is committed to continuing to make the platform better and better.  I can appreciate the devs' philosophies behind it and their continued improvements are proof of their commitment to Plutio's users.

It was easy to get started, a lot of this was intuitive.

The lake of customer service and help form, pages, videos and all that. 
No refunds for unsatisfied experiences. Perhaps if there were real people to talk with about our issues, we would not have been unhappy in the end.

Do let the trail fool you. It seems great but then once you upgrade it seems to fall apart, no one will help you at this point and the extra money you pay to remove the pluio and use your own branding, well, it didn't work for us. Like i said, no one will help you try to figure that out either.

None at this time. We thought it would help with streamlining our invoicing and proposals to clients but we could never get our premium whiteglove branding to work with out business gmail.

Plutio is visually appealing, easy to use, and has a lot of features that you'll need to do CRM, manage your team, and so on. There's a lot they include in the software.

I wanted to use Plutio, but they lack a way to create and send out forms to collect client data for profiles and projects, which is important to me in my line of work. They are also lacking in the integrations available to use alongside it.

They don't offer very many integrations, so if you have software you'd like to use in conjunction with a CRM system make sure it would be compatible with Plutio.

It is able to do most of what I need, from contacting leads or clients, to proposals and billing, and managing invoices, etc. It saves me a lot of time.

I've used my fair share of task management systems and something about Plutio is the most charming to me. 

I love using Plutio because I initially got it for the right price I was looking for. I didn't want to shell out monthly fees and have a big overhead for things like Monday or TeamWork. So I found Plutio on accident and ended up fully integrating it.

Plutio has a clean interface with easy to use tools and controls and because of that it makes it an ideal Task Management that has online, mobile, and desktop integration. Perfect for a multi-device user such as myself.

**What do you dislike about Plutio?**

There are some problems dealing with the integration of the various titles and phrases from within the system. 

I have multiple templates set up and installed in order to make my job easier but the first month of me using it was filled with distress when I realized I was making templates for new clients and they had to be converted to regular or repeatable templates.

The template side of the site really can use a little cleaning up. But once you figure it out it's just a beginner problem.

Visualize then attack. 

If you are using a time management software it's because you want things to flow better. So make a flowchart of how you want things to go in paint or something and then adopt those flows into your system. It will make setting up initial templates and profiles much easier and ultimately when everything is running smoothly it is a fantastic tool.

But perhaps the best thins about Plutio is its founder, Leo Bassam. The guy is passionate about the product and interacts with the users.

At the moment the lack of Zapier or integromat integration is frustrating, but I know its coming. If you're a developer then the API can be used, but this is way outside my skillset.

I admittedly don't have a large organization and so my usage of Plutio may not be as complete as other companies. We use it to keep track of projects and tasks among three people working across the US. There are many things that I like a lot about Plutio but if I had to choose one thing that I like best, it would not be anything to do with the actual software. It's the fact that the founder and developer makes himself completely available and transparent to the users of Plutio, so much so that every time I've reached out via the chat box on the site I've received an answer within a minute or two - from him and not a representative. He also is very active on the Plutio Facebook group where people post questions and recommendations. He is constantly answering questions and posting updates to the software. If I'm going to use a tool to help manage my company, I like knowing that I can have access to the person working on it so I'm aware of where the software is going. And he's just a super nice guy.  

**What do you dislike about Plutio?**

Right now the only thing I'm not crazy about is the GUI. There may be ways to customize it (in fact I'm sure there are) although I don't really have the time to figure it out. Its a little bland looking. I think its done like that on purpose as the idea is to allow users to customize the look of it to match their company colors, but even just the general overall interface is a little lackluster. That's not even remotely something that bothers me as I'm working though so its not a big deal. 

**Recommendations to others considering Plutio:**

This is the first time I've used a project management tool so I can't compare it to others. I'm sure there are platforms that offer far more but for a small organization like mine, it is perfect. Definitely shop around as your situation may be different, but if you want a platform where you get an incredible feature set, updates every few days practically and a developer that you can speak with directly and will take your input and implement it - the Plutio definitely deserves a look.

I need a management tool that I can use to make sure projects are getting worked on and completed, whether by me, others or in a collaborative effort. I don't need just a to do or reminder list. Plutio has a wide range of features that allow for true management of work on not only the project level but even at the individual task level to make sure things get done. In the few months that w've been using it it has already sped up and streamlined our workflow.

Plutio does what it says on the tin, the owner is 100% dedicated to developing the most powerful all in one business tool and month by month we're seeing the benefits of signing up for this tool. It's constantly improving and they're always adding new features.

There is a slight learning curve I though, so getting to know which roles do what and who can access what for me took a little bit of time to understand but in fairness I didn't give it the time it deserved at the start. Overall, the UI is great, super clean and makes complete sense once you get into it.

I'd say coming from a freelancing background, I wish I had this tool when I started out. Even when we grew as a company this would have been a great asset to keep track of everything. For now, I'm using it on my saas business model and it's proving well so I'd recommend Plutio for many types of businesses.

I'm not only able to manage a video production company dealing with new clients each month but also able to use another account for a saas business that has a two sided market place. Plutio lets me managed both sides of this market with ease.

• I'm having a problem with the custom domain feature but they are helping me resolve it.

It aims to be the one-stop shop solution for managing a business. You can easily collaborate with team-members and drive projects from this tool.

The UI is a little too basic. It would be nice if Plutio had more templates. In addition, the tool lacks complete customization when it comes to the look and feel of invoices. In addition, it would also be nice if the tool had better integrations.

The company is relatively new in the market. Definitely try the tool over a trial period and evaluate whether it really fits in with your business before making a commitment to transition out of your existing softwares.
