I also found the initial setup really easy. **What do you dislike about Mitel MiCollab?** Sometimes we get glitches and it stops running. **What problems is Mitel MiCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Mitel MiCollab to connect with leads internationally and make sales. It helps us reach our students across all continents, which is vital for our international company. ### 2. The desktop/mobile applications were great with even better deskphones. **What do you dislike about Mitel MiCollab?** Support was an issue for us. It would take days to get support on small issues and the larger issues would take at least a day if I didn't contact them several times. The admin portal was a mess and not user friendly. **What problems is Mitel MiCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?** It started out as a great system, but when software updates started to come in then it became a problem. ### 3. This application is handy and professional to use. Minimal effort is needed for the usage. I have been using this application for a good period in this organization. **What problems is Mitel MiCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy to use. The primary purpose is VOIP calls and Audio conferencing. Mitel MiCollab is very easy to use for Video conferencing. It eases the process and very handy for quick sessions and meetings. ### 6. It's like taking your desk phone with you on the go! **What do you dislike about Mitel MiCollab?** What I dislike most about MiCollab is the admin user interface is very dated and not very intuitive. You really need to know where to go and what is right in order to manage it. **What problems is Mitel MiCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mitel MiCollab solves the problem of missing calls on our desk phones while we are away from our desks. It also allows us to transfer a call to our cell phone if we need to move while on a call. ### 7. Comes in handy when waiting for a response but need to step away for a bit. **What do you dislike about Mitel MiCollab?** I wish there were a few more features, such as night mode, being able to change the chat font, and to be able adjust notification settings (different sounds etc.) **What problems is Mitel MiCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?** Staying collaborative on the go, and being able to quickly set up adhoc meetings are very helpful features. These allow for projects to be moved forward and questions answered without having to wait for next week's "status update" call. ### 9. I can also make/receive phone calls using my work phone number/extension when I am working from home. This has been a lifesave for me. **What do you dislike about Mitel MiCollab?** I have not had any issues with the functionality of MiCollab so far. It has been a great resource for me and my colleagues, especially in the days of Covid and remote work. **What problems is Mitel MiCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?** I work with thousands of colleagues, who are all "local" but located in a number of different facilities. MiCollab has made it easier to know everyone's status and also to avoid the annoyance of hearing phones ring continuously when someone is away from their desk, as the phone goes automatically to voicemail. ### 10. I use it on both while I work from home and can receive calls to my office number or make calls from my office number to other colleagues, vendors, and teammates. It is easy to install and configure and allows you many of the same features as your actual phone, such as checking voicemail, seeing recent calls, searching your company's directory, setting speed dials, and setting your favorite contacts. **What do you dislike about Mitel MiCollab?** I wish I could change the ringtone. The default ringtone is a bit abrasive for my taste. Perhaps this functionality exists and I just haven't found it yet. Also, speakerphone functionality could use improvement. **What problems is Mitel MiCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?** My institution is working on developing a remote work from home policy. As a developer, I am on a team that is helping to pilot the work-from-home program. Micollab allows me to be available via my office contact info and to provide an experience for those who voice or video call as if I am on campus.
