What do you like best about Logz.io?

UI is easy to use, especially creating filters from fields and viewing fields and their values. Patterns are useful. We also use alerts to alerts us for issues in our production environment.

I even extract data from the logs using API access for full processing in batch.

The Logz team is responsive, and when we have any questions (how to do something, when will some feature be implemented, etc.) they happily answer us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Logz.io?

Switching between views is a bit slow. I would like a view that fits a mobile phone - so I can have a quick look while not near my laptop.

I would also like a way to extract data from messages using regex or something like it.

The UI icons take some getting used to (a bit confusing), and it takes some time to learn to use it in an efficient manner.

Not much to dislike, I generally love using Logz Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Logz.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

I gain visibility into my logs from a distributed system. I have a way to monitor in real-time production in a remote location. I have an easy way for auditing (for internal purposes at least).

I have a centralized log repository, easily split into sub-accounts per each environment we have, where everything is visible. Before logz, we had to log into remote systems to view their logs, and we had no real solution for lambda resources (except cloudwatch logs that are very limited). What do you like best about Logz.io?

Logz.io provides extensive customisation options, custom alerting and plenty of data sources, all at an affordable price. Their Support Team is excellent - both knowledgeable and polite. We have never experienced any significant downtime and the service is very fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Logz.io?

I can't think of any major things I dislike about Logz.io. We did have an annoying issue when setting up two-factor authentication for a couple of specific users, but their Support Team helped us go around it. Also, keep in mind they will throttle your metrics ingestion if you have a data spike (though I would imagine most services would do the same), but that is a rare occurrence for us. "Easy to collect necessary data"

What do you like best about Logz.io?

When filtering for specific attributes, it was very simple and easy.

Compared to another platform (Kibana), it was much better when collecting data (copying only the data you want to select, not the whole data), as you can copy and transform the data as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our company moved to another platform because of price issues.
