## LinkedIn Job Search Reviews
  ### 1. Best place for job seekers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sucharita Thanadar M. | Paid Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2023

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Job Search?**

According to me this is the best place for job seekers, employees and employers to find a parfect match between person and company.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Job Search?**

Only one complaint is that most of the time we can't get proper response from recruiter after applying. We could find best job but can't be able to proceed with recruitment process. But this is not the problem with LinkedIn, this is the problem with companies. we can't get which one is perfect for us.

**What problems is LinkedIn Job Search solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It benifits me with the information that which companies are hiring, what positions are open and apply accordingly. I got my first internship from here and I am very thankful to LinkedIn as I kick started my career with this site. Also I got my 3 rd job which was a Remote role from linkedin and I am happy with this job search currently while looking for new role for a growth in career.

  ### 2. LinkedIn Makes Job Hunting Faster with Easy Apply

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nandani K. | Data Specialist, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Job Search?**

Whenever I am looking for jobs, LinkedIn is usually the first thing I check. I like the easy apply option as it saves time of filling the same details again and again. Before applying, I also look at the profiles of people who are already working in the company.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Job Search?**

I don't like that there are so many old or duplicate job posts. There are times when I apply for a job and then realize it was posted weeks ago or that I’ve already seen the same role from a different recruiter. I also get a lot of non skill related recruiters messages, which can be a little annoying.

**What problems is LinkedIn Job Search solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using LinkedIn I used to search for jobs on different websites and it took me a lot of time. I mainly use LinkedIn now because it allows me to find jobs, internships and company info all in one place. It made it easier for me to search for jobs and I found opportunities that I probably would have never known about.

  ### 3. Perfect for showcasing hardware projects directly to recruiters

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krishnakant R. | Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Job Search?**

The best part about LinkedIn Job Search is how it connects me directly with tech recruiters and electronics/embedded startups. As a student working on hands-on robotics and IoT projects using microcontrollers like Arduino and ESP8266, traditional job portals don't really show the right opportunities. On LinkedIn, I can share actual video updates of my working hardware prototypes—like smart irrigation setups or Wi-Fi controlled cars—and then directly apply for internships that value practical skills. The job alerts and specific filters for niche roles like 'Embedded Systems Intern' or 'IoT Developer' make it incredibly useful for someone trying to break into the tech industry.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Job Search?**

What bothers me the most is the filtering for 'Entry-Level' jobs. As a college student looking for internships or fresher roles in hardware and embedded systems, it is frustrating to click on an entry-level listing only to find out they require 2 to 3 years of commercial experience in the description. Additionally, the search algorithm sometimes get messy with keywords, showing unrelated senior software engineering roles when I am specifically filtering for junior IoT or electronics positions. It would be much better if entry-level actually meant roles meant for graduates or students.

**What problems is LinkedIn Job Search solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the huge problem of visibility and discovery for niche technical roles. For a student focused on hands-on hardware development, embedded systems, and robotics, traditional platforms and standard campus placements mostly offer generic IT jobs. LinkedIn Job Search helps me filter specifically for early-stage IoT startups and core electronics teams that are looking for practical skills. The biggest benefit is that it connects the job search with professional networking; I can find an internship opening and immediately see who the hiring manager or founder is, allowing me to reach out directly with my actual project portfolio.

  ### 4. Targeted Job Search with Clear Details and Strong Networking Context

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sagar K. | SEO Analyst, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Job Search?**

What I like best about LinkedIn Job Search is that it makes discovering relevant opportunities feel more targeted instead of scrolling through endless listings. The job details are usually clear, and being able to see company information and mutual connections adds useful context before applying. Posting content and sharing updates can help increase reach and create opportunities through engagement and networking, which makes the platform feel more active than a typical job board.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Job Search?**

The feed has started to feel more crowded recently, with more sponsored content and ads showing up than before, which makes it harder to focus on useful updates and job opportunities. There is also a noticeable increase in AI-generated content that can feel repetitive or less authentic compared to real professional insights.

**What problems is LinkedIn Job Search solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using LinkedIn Job Search, I mostly relied on different job portals and manual searches, which made it difficult to keep track of relevant openings and company updates. LinkedIn made the process more streamlined by combining job discovery, networking, and professional visibility in one platform. Posting content and staying active also helped increase profile reach and brought more inbound opportunities instead of only applying manually. As a result, I spent less time searching and had more relevant conversations and applications compared to my previous approach.

  ### 5. Convenient Job Search with Great Filters, but Recommendations and Performance Need Work

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lakshya B. | Mentee, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Job Search?**

My favorite thing about LinkedIn Job Search is the convenience and availability of jobs. The feature such as “actively recruiting” and “early applicant” allows me to see if there is a high possibility of being selected for the job position. I also like the option of finding local, remote, or international jobs depending on my preferences. The wide range of filters is what makes searching easier because it enables me to filter according to the type of job, experience level, working conditions, and location. The UI is easy to use and understand, which is an added advantage. LinkedIn premium is relatively affordable compared to the benefits it offers. Although there are some areas that need improvement, especially in terms of recommendations and performance, it is still one of the best platforms for job searching.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Job Search?**

One of the most significant issues that plague LinkedIn Job Search is the presence of numerous false or low-quality job postings. It often happens that employers do not reply to applications, and the practice of ghosting has become widespread among even qualified candidates. There is no efficient mechanism for tracking one's application process between different companies. LinkedIn Premium does not always seem like a good deal because there is no substantial difference in response rates. Scam job postings, which request money from job seekers, can still be found, and there seems to be little that support can do about it quickly. The AI recommendations seem quite basic at the moment since recommendations are mainly done based on profiles' similarities. Moreover, there are also some job postings that require unrealistic experience for meager salaries.

**What problems is LinkedIn Job Search solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before LinkedIn Job Search, finding a job would be very exhausting for me as I would go through various websites, and to add to it, most of the postings would not even relate to me. But now things are much simpler because of LinkedIn as it consolidates all information at one place and I can even filter out results according to my preferences such as role, location, remote work opportunities, experience level, etc. Also, LinkedIn enables me to look for jobs in other countries that are generally difficult to find. The filters like “actively recruiting” and “early applicant” help me further focus my search to roles where I could be favored.

I have not used any integrations of LinkedIn Job Search with any other application, and hence, do not have much information about it. My usage of the platform has mostly been through its website and mobile application. Also, the user interface is not complicated so much that it needs many integrations for basic job searching and applications.

  ### 6. Easy, Smooth Job Search with Seamless LinkedIn Profile Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahek T. | Technical Recruiter, Staffing and Recruiting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Job Search?**

LinkedIn Job Search is easy to use and simple to implement, it doesn’t feel complicated when browsing or applying. The customer support is reliable, and I end up using it pretty often because of how smooth the experience is. It has a good number of features without being overwhelming, and the way it integrates with my profile and connections makes the whole process feel natural.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Job Search?**

I dislike that LinkedIn Job Search sometimes shows repetitive or irrelevant job recommendations, and the filters don’t always narrow things down well. Some postings lack detail or aren’t updated, which makes applying feel a bit hit-or-miss.

**What problems is LinkedIn Job Search solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LinkedIn Job Search solves the problem of finding relevant jobs faster by matching roles to my skills and interests. It also helps me connect with people at those companies, giving me better chances through referrals. This saves time, makes the search more focused, and helps me feel more confident about the opportunities I apply for

  ### 7. Intuitive, Efficient Job Search with Smart Recommendations and Easy Apply

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Divya P. | RPA Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Job Search?**

What I like best about LinkedIn Job Search is its clean and intuitive interface, which makes it easy to search and apply for jobs without much effort. The platform is well integrated with your professional profile, so applying to roles becomes faster with features like “Easy Apply.” It also connects seamlessly with company pages, recruiters, and professional networks, which helps in discovering more relevant opportunities. The performance is generally smooth, and job recommendations are quite relevant based on skills and activity. I also find the AI-driven suggestions and alerts useful, as they help surface roles that match my profile without constant searching. From a value perspective, even the free version offers strong functionality, while premium features provide additional insights like applicant comparisons and recruiter visibility.Overall, the onboarding is simple, and there are plenty of resources and prompts to help optimize your profile and job search. It makes the entire process more organized, efficient, and personalized.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Job Search?**

One drawback of LinkedIn Job Search is that many job postings can feel repetitive or outdated, which sometimes reduces the effectiveness of search results. The notification system can also become overwhelming, with frequent alerts that are not always highly relevant. While the platform performs well overall, occasional delays or glitches can occur when applying or loading job listings. Additionally, some of the more useful insights and features are locked behind the premium subscription, which may not feel cost-effective for all users.

**What problems is LinkedIn Job Search solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LinkedIn Job Search solves the problem of scattered job opportunities and limited visibility by bringing listings, recruiter connections, and professional networking into a single platform. It eliminates the need to search across multiple job portals and helps centralize applications, communication, and profile management. The platform also improves discoverability by matching candidates with relevant roles based on their skills, experience, and activity. This benefits me by saving time and making the job search more targeted and efficient. It also increases the chances of being noticed by recruiters through profile visibility and networking features. Overall, it makes the process more structured, reduces manual effort, and provides better access to opportunities aligned with my profile.

  ### 8. Great Global Opportunities, but Fake Posts and Mass Applications Make It Tough

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oscar Javier M. | Senior Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Job Search?**

The LinkedIn job search is valuable because it offers global job opportunities, connecting professionals (such as developers and designers) to better international markets. This allows people to transcend the limitations of their local job market and secure positions with international companies, which is a significant advantage.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Job Search?**

The LinkedIn job search is becoming increasingly challenging in 2026. While I am not blaming this specific platform, I've noticed a significant rise in fake or duplicate job postings. The prevalence of automated application tools also contributes to this challenge by allowing candidates to apply in large batches, which makes securing an interview much harder.

**What problems is LinkedIn Job Search solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LinkedIn's job search functionality transforms the market by breaking geographical barriers, creating a global job market. This is invaluable, especially for professionals in countries like mine in South America. The ability to secure a job abroad and work remotely allows me to significantly improve my quality of life without leaving my current location.

  ### 9. Easy, Efficient Job Search with Relevant Recommendations and Company Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunal N. | Pre Final Year Mechanical Engineering Student, Manufacturing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2026

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Job Search?**

What I like most about LinkedIn Job Search is how easy it makes the whole process. The job suggestions are usually relevant to my profile, and I can quickly understand more about a company before applying. I also like being able to see who works there or if I have any connections, which makes it feel more personal and less like I’m just sending applications into the void. It’s straightforward, efficient, and helps me make better decisions while applying.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Job Search?**

One thing I don’t like about LinkedIn Job Search is that a lot of listings feel repetitive or not fully relevant, even with filters applied. Sometimes the same job gets reposted multiple times, which makes it harder to find genuinely new opportunities. Also, many postings don’t clearly mention key details like salary or exact responsibilities, so it can feel a bit vague. The “Easy Apply” option is convenient, but it can also lead to too much competition, making it harder to stand out.

**What problems is LinkedIn Job Search solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LinkedIn Job Search solves the problem of finding relevant opportunities and understanding companies in one place. Instead of going through multiple job portals, I can search, apply, and research everything on a single platform. It also reduces the uncertainty of applying blindly by showing details about the company, employees, and sometimes even the hiring team.

For me, this makes the whole process more efficient and focused. I can spend less time searching and more time applying to roles that actually match my profile. It also helps me make better decisions because I have more context before applying, which increases my confidence and saves effort.

  ### 10. Easy Apply and Smart Filters Make Job Hunting Faster and More Organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad O. | Salesforce Business Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Job Search?**

What I like most about LinkedIn Job Search is how effectively it helps me find relevant opportunities based on my profile and skills. I’ve been actively using it for the past several months while searching for Salesforce and other tech-related roles. I also use the platform to connect with recruiters and follow up on potential opportunities. Overall, LinkedIn Job Search has made my job search feel more structured and has saved me time.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Job Search?**

One thing I don’t like about LinkedIn Job Search is that, while searching, I sometimes come across multiple very similar or even duplicate job postings. That can be confusing and makes it harder to figure out which listing is the most relevant. Aside from that, the platform works well overall, but it would be even better if job recommendations were more accurate and job descriptions were more complete and detailed.

**What problems is LinkedIn Job Search solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LinkedIn Job Search solves the problem of finding relevant job opportunities in one place, rather than having to search across multiple platforms and portals separately, which used to be time-consuming. It also keeps me updated with new job postings based on my profile and skills, so I don’t miss opportunities that are actually relevant to me. Overall, it helps me stay organized, saves me time, and lets me focus on roles that match my experience.
